God uses his Word to accomplish his saving work in the world. His Word is perfect, powerful, and sufficient. Thus, our preaching is "expository," aiming simply to explain and apply a passage of Scripture. Since all God's Word is profitable and necessary for God's people, we typically preach verse-by-verse, passage-by-passage, through entire books of the Bible.​
