    What is Shakespearean French??
Greta said Shakespearean French. I googled it. But it didn’t turn up anything. I still don’t know what Shakespearean French is. I feel Greta says a lot of “smart” sounding words and phrases. I feel that is a sign of low intelligence. I cannot stand listening to her speak. It makes me feel dumber listening to her.

    It’s perfect!
I don’t want it to end! Both hosts are delightful and the interviews are deeply engaging. I could listen every day.

    The Best GOT Podcast
This is by far the most interesting, intriguing, captivating, podcast I have heard for GOT House Of Dragon. It keeps you wanting to continue listening. (Side Bar: I love Jason’s laugh). I was very surprised that Jason and Greta had not met face-to-face in person until the convention. The way they interact with each other one would think they are together when they record the different shows. I’m so ready for season 2 of HBO’s Game Of Thrones House Of Dragon and to see (well to hear) what greta and Jason will have in store for us on season two of the official podcast. I was hoping that an audience member would have asked Mr. Kit Harrington (John Snow) a few questions about the HBO GOT SpinOff series “SNOW”, like where would he like to see the character grow towards, does he think the character at some point rather quickly should be able to if not, forgive himself for Danny’s death (even though he knew it was what was best for the world), but to except that it was what had to happen for the betterment of all the kingdoms known and unknown. Greta, Jason, I am most likely not alone when I say this, I really do hope once everything is 100% official. You guys are able to have The Official HBO’s Game Of Thrones House Of Dragon official podcast for the HBO spinoff series “SNOW”.

    Game of Thrones
This is by far thee best GOT podcast around. You guys are funny, informative and give great insight on each show. I must admit before I looked at pictures I thought both of you were girls! My bad. Keep up the good work and thanks.

The two of you have such tremendous chemistry, you are so much fun and a joy to listen to! None only do you know your topics but you add fresh insight and solid takes that connects so well with me. Don’t ever change or leave your podcast here, it’s so great. Love you guys. I’m sad that I won’t hear you for awhile now but I will be waiting patiently. All my best to you n 2023.

    House of dragons
I love this podcast. I loved GOT but this podcast gives me great background on all the characters, history and information on the story that I may miss. I love this podcast.

    My Favorite Podcast
This was such a superb show and I wish they had done this for game of thrones. I can’t wait for new episodes. Fantastic in all ways

    Great interviews
The official place for actor interviews. Had access to the people who made HOTD real to this avid book fan. Listening to the last episode with Kit Harington was so well done.

Hands down my favorite podcast of 2022!
I love GoT and HotD, but this podcast keeps them alive and vibrant. The details are engaging. The interviews are fresh and enlightening. The discussions funny, human, and just needed in today’s world. Most of all, Jason and Greta are the perfect co-host duo. They each bring something different but complementary to the show. I can’t wait for more!

    Great GoT & HoD Podcast
This is such an awesome podcast for people who enjoy House of the Dragon and the Game of Thrones Universe. So informative and fun!

    Very informative
I learned so much since I’m not yet a book reader. Thanks for the great information!

    Perfect after-show Podcast
This has been the perfect after show podcast for anyone who loves listening to the behind the scenes and the more nerdy and geeky side of each episode. My only complain would be they spoiler Game of Thrones from time to time but that is also my fault for not seeing at this point. Overall I highly recommend this if you enjoy the show and want more from it.

    Love it!!
Loved the podcast, the details and discussions, its really fun and it made love more the GOT world. 4 stars because there wasnt an interview with the best character in house Targaryen, Rhaenyra. Would’ve love to hear from her point of view about the show

    Interesting and fun
These guys are so fun to listen to. Very interesting discussions and interviews

    A joy
I appreciate and adore Greta and Jason so much. Their joy is infectious and their enthusiasm matches that of the fans who are so excited to hear the discourse after the show and keep thinking about it. Brilliance abounds. The interviews are insightful.

    Love this!
Entertaining and educational at the same time. Does anyone know more about GOT and HOTD than Jason? So enthusiastic too. The last episode I heard after season 1 he even went deep into the music soundtrack! Greta comes at it more like an enthusiastic intelligent fan and kind of drives the show, by asking great questions. She also provides great theories and can explain scenes really well from a female perspective. Great podcast!

    Music
    Excellent music episode 👍
  • B-Diddy2
    Music Episode is Fantastic
I have listened to every episode throughout the season and then while I have enjoyed the show recaps, this bonus episode deep dive in the music was unbelievable! Such a key piece that could’ve easily been overlooked, thank you so much for taking the time to put this one together it is by far my favorite this season!

    Great show😊❤️
I love this show so much! I am going back to listen to all the old Nerdette Recaps for Game of Throne’s now. Wish I’d known about this when the old show was on tv.. rewatching GoT now too! Thanks for all you do😊
  • Russell_Fox
    HBO Propaganda Arm
The hosts are solid, one intricately knows the world and the other is just a casual fan but is engaging. The obvious conflict lies in the fact that their salaries are paid by HBO so all objectivity is thrown out the window and they can’t form their own opinions. They regurgitate HBO/Hollywood talking points and refuse to point out some of the shows glaring flaws. Shame. Rather than ever admit fault, HBO just tries to control the story through these two puppets.

Adds more context to the show!
This show is awesome! It explains what happens in each episode and goes into deeper detail of what happened in the book and gives necessary background to understand some of the more complex plot lines. Plus, Jason and Greta add a lot of humor and fun to the show!
  • Ecbirm
    Misses the mark
I tuned in because Jason is just so knowledgeable about all things Westeros… but his partner, not so much. Miss him and Mallory together - their humor was so spot on. Anyways…. 3 stars based solely on Jason and his awesomeness
  • SkyHar22
    Made the show better
I love this podcast! I was more excited to watch the episodes knowing in could listen to the recap after. Both hosts are hilarious and I loved the top level interviews.

    Best podcast ever
This is the best podcast I have ever listened to. Not just bc it’s GOT HOD but also bc of how well the podcast is produced and presented. The hosts are amazing. I love the audio clips. I love how they break down the episodes and explain things. I find my self disappointed when the show is over for the week bc I want to listen to it everyday.

    Missing the sense of humor
Jason is the GOT-talk GOAT, and he’s had the best chemistry/shared sense of humor ever with Mallory, so he’s obviously very capable. He also now has different, but very nice chemistry and some shared sense of humor with Rosie, and she shines for different reasons. Greta seems very nice and is mostly otherwise suited for this, yet the chemistry is still strained after the whole season, I think mostly because she’s just not able to hang with him humor-wise, and he’s kind of put it away since it’s not a fruitful road for them. HBO, you’ve got the guy, just need a different woman, and there’s lots of great candidates out there. Not sure this is worthy of a Binge Mode reunion or whether that is even possible right now, but Jason really is literally the greatest to ever do it on this beat, so find him a co-host that lets him shine and takes him to greater heights! Jason, five stars forever, thanks for all of it!

    ♥️‼️
I look fwd to this show weekly after watching HOTD‼️ Very informative.

Way better HotD podcasts out there
Given this is the official HotD podcast, I did have higher expectations. Unfortunately the hosts pale in comparison to the quality of other podcasts out there (Talk the Thrones, House of R, Post Show Recaps). I don’t find them particularly insightful, knowledgeable, or compelling. It’s a shame because they have so much more access (eg I’m guessing they got an ep 10 screener when most others didn’t, they get to interview key players from the show)
  • Mahaney5
Excellent pod! I understand so much more about the storyline and helps me keep track of who is who!
Excellent pod! Helps me keep track of storyline and who is who!

    Official
Very informative and enjoyable but a little bit of a commercial for the show. If you’re looking for in-depth and honest critical analysis, this might not be it. Every conclusion falls at “incredible” and “amazing.” It IS the official podcast, so that shouldn’t be a surprise. And they score really high end interviews, so the trade off Iis definitely worth it.

    Great show
Great podcast. Dave is not as much of a wild card as he was on binge mode but his knowledge is exquisite and vastly entertaining!

One of my favorite podcast currently!
This podcast has been such a high of my week since I first started listening (I started listening episode 1 of house of the dragon)! Both of the host have such complimenting personalities and recap the show with thought provoking perspectives! I also love the way they bring it into terms of modern day culture. Amazing!!

    Loved the hosts & interviews
I don’t get why others feel the host are so bad. I think they’re hilarious and knowledgeable, I love the conversation between Greta and Jason. I love the cast interviewed. I love this podcast!

    Loving the extra content
Idk about y’all but I’ve been devouring HOTD content because it is somehow nostalgic for the late aughts when GOT was first airing. I’m already familiar with Jason from Binge Mode but I’m absolutely loving Greta as well. I’m stoked that they’re getting to do this podcast and can’t wait for more (and very much appreciate that they’re placating us with biweekly eps during our year+ wait for S02). Thanks, y’all!

    10/10
Absolutely love this podcast!!! Jason and Greta do such a good job explaining and discussing everything

    Great!
All these people saying this lacks depth, need to realize this is a SHOW! and books and podcasts, etc. But as they say in the most recent episode, there’s limited comedic relief in the show. Coming to the podcast these two are actually talking about all the questions and moments that stood out to me also. I love laughing about these moments and see the comedy behind them. The show is so serious and I think GOT had a good amount of comedic relief. I love the references to the books and history. The interviews are AMAZING. I think overall this is a great great great podcast! I look forward to each episode!!

    Insufferable woke hosts
So I wanted to love this show . The hosts are obnoxious , insufferable and Uber woke. This greta actually tried to say in episode 10 that a scene was so traumatic that she was crying and had to turn it off….like stop that didn’t really happen the woke really ridiculous takes drive me to the verge of vomiting . Kind of funny that they think they can keep the podcast going the next 2 years with no new episodes even bi-weekly .

    Patriarchy
The word patriarchy over, and over, and over, and over. Not saying this fantasy world wasn’t. But we all get it. She says it 10 times an episode. Give us more than what we saw, I can recap the episode too.

    Woke Thrones

    Misses the mark
It’s pretty sad (to me) that HBO has made this the “official” podcast of this show. The hosts don’t seem to take this show seriously (when they should be) and take it too serious when it’s not needed. They just kinda recap the episode and don’t really hit on fleshing out the important interactions on the show. So many interesting discussion pieces are left on the table and it’s kind making me mad. Over all the hosts are annoying and asking, mostly, the wrong questions or positing the wrong theories and they are just not that interesting. There are so many podcasters out there who covered GOT that did such excellent work covering that series. I can’t believe HBO would trust this to these two. If it were an option I would give this podcast 2.5 stars because the interviews with show runners are well done and appreciated. The rest of the podcast is meh at best. It’s frustrating to me that these two were given the reigns of something millions of people will tune into and neither of them are very good at podcasting on or about a show in general…HBO missed the mark in making this the official companion podcast.

    Great interviews, underwhelming analysis
The interviews with the actors and directors are quite cool and very informative. However I find the analysis of the episodes to be derivate, and lacking in the depth and nuance that is common place in the show. There is too much focus on recap and not enough on analysis, and when there is analysis of characters and their motives; it feels bland, obvious even. Love Greta and Jason, but wish they dove a little deeper!

Love this podcast! Look forward to it each week

    Very satisfied!
I started GOT while the show was in season 6. I went back and binge watched everything up to the, then, current episode. I typically like to binge watch a show once it’s over because I hate waiting week to week. This podcast as strictly a show watcher, not a book reader, has been awesome! It has bridged the gap from week to week. It has also given me some awesome insights with no spoilers from the book, unlike the HOD Facebook pages I follow. I can’t wait for next season and I’m happy they are continuing every two weeks!
  • reyna_11
Enjoy it but need to change a host
I love the guy host in this podcast. He’s more in tuned with what the world at that time was like and adds insight from the book which is much needed (I just wish there was more insight). However, my biggest complaint is the female co-host. She doesn’t add anything other than trying to make the viewers view this world like it’s happening in todays world. It just seems like she’s trying to push a “woke” view. It doesn’t help that she also has not read the book.
  • Tachsiyo3
    love your podcast!!
Great show & great podcast!!! Loved this season! Just Wow!!

    Great insights
Love the insight and context the hosts give to the episodes. They point out things I didn’t notice or themes I appreciate that I haven’t yet digested while watching.
