Amazing show, great hosts, shocking, chilling, and sometimes scintillating tales of fantasy, sci-fi, horror. 5 stars. Only issue, my name is also Jon Anderson, and every time another Jon Anderson is mentioned, I feel like I am losing my mind. What can you do? Think I’ma stop listening Now?? Get real.

Thanks to this podcast, my life has been enriched significantly. It makes me think of things I never thought I would before: what it means to be human, relationships with a surrogate child, Petey Pablo, and the idea of Frankenstein’s monster being a noir detective. Do your ear holes a favor and tune in.

As a long time listener of fantasy fiction back I the day I craved the return of the adventures of Sid and Ugla and all the other muppets. Sure there was that weird semi reboot with the other guy. But without Josh it was worthless. Now imagine my shock when I discover that not only is the world of Daranos back from the dead, but there’s also spooky and sci fi stuff now. For real though the stories are better than ever and Jeff and Rich are a perfect addition to mix up the genres on offer. It’s a super inspiring podcast that might just inspire me enough to try to write my own tales again.

Here’s the part where I say I’ve been a fan of the Daranos stories since old FF and I would follow Josh to any show he appears on, even that one about cracking backs or whatever. Aaaanyway I love the different styles of storytelling each of the hosts bring to the table, albeit tied together by a penchant for Yo Mama jokes and various expletives that makes it feel much less jarring when transitioning from a story about space heists to one about hideous flesh golems to another about trolls twerking, and the laughter and banter of the hosts make it feel like you’re part of the fun. You’ve all been a huge inspiration to me as of late to just hunker down and get creative even when it seems impossible. You never know when you might get inspired by something as simple as frogs or socks.

These funny lads have kept me entertained through some of the most hectic times of my life. You can rely on these guys to write some of the most hilarious and heartfelt stories that’ll ever grace your ears. Also go birds

It was a good 3 years while it lasted working from home, but listening to laughing before and after the workday is extremely helpful. Every episode has been extremely entertaining. Josh, Jeff, and Rich each bring such unique styles and stories every episode that I'm always eagerly awaitng the next. The worlds and chacracters are all so wonderfully wacky and endearing. I've been a fan of the boys' various works for a long time now: Continue, Fantasy Fiction, OGOC, etc. So give them a listen, you won't be dissapointed! -From a man, unfortunately, also named Evan (Rich is always mad at me)

So I used to listen to some other podcast like maybe 9 years ago and the guy who got fired from it is here now! I tried to find that other guy’s podcasts but none of them were online anymore so I guess I’m stuck with this one. Oh well! This show is incredible and an inspiration. I binged all of Fantasy Fiction again a while back and was left with a bad case of epididymal hypertension, but now that I’ve found BrosB4- I mean Storylords, I’m finally cured! The only bad thing about this podcast is that every time a new episode comes out and I finish listening, I immediately feel a little sad because I’ll have to wait two weeks for another! Their stories are actually so good they often illicit the audible single “Ha!” laugh, which personally is uncommon for me in this 2024 hellscape. I love this podcast so much I’m relistening to the whole show a third time. It's me WarewolfBarmitzvah! Yeah, that doesn't ring a bell for like anyone I know, but trust me I'm internet famous! Brosb4Pros is like drinking a fine wine out of the skull of your enemy while pressing the jump-scare button on your rad hot-rod space-ship because you thought it was the hyper-drive button, but now you're just scaring the people who crew your ship. PUNCH IT G-MAN!

A fun, entertaining, and genuinely well written show where each host brings their own unique flavor to the fold. The excellent and varied writing grabs your attention while the chemistry between each member works to endear you to the show. One thing I appreciate about the show is that it is not afraid switch between tones. One minute you may be laughing and the next you may be overtaken by tension. Ultimately, after only a few episodes, it is easy to see that this show has potential to rank among the best of its kind.

It’s like fantasy fiction used to be but less narrow in scope and fewer firings! But seriously, fun raunchy stories told by three people who genuinely seem to enjoy each others company. Ps only limited talk of the number of swords the Witcher owns.

Three great friends write amazing stories and read em aloud; can’t lose. The gap between the quietest and loudest sounds on episode two leads to not hearing something, turning it up, and then a loud laugh jutting out. Besides that /one/ gripe, it’s perfect.

This podcast is so good it will make your momma say: “Boys, hope you know what polygamy is, because you are about to have three magical story telling daddies!” If you want a podcast that is engaging, extremely fun and will keep you laughing, this is it.
