My husband and I listen to several UW sports podcasts; Christian and Danny are far and away the best in terms of insightful Dawg content and commentary, and they are really entertaining to boot! Say Who, Say Pod is a 100% can’t miss for any UW football fan!

Christian and Danny are a great duo for discussing Husky football. They’re not part-timers, either — they’ve been releasing episodes throughout the offseason! Hard to find coverage of this team that’s both as reliable and dedicated as On Montlake.

Long time listener and OnMontlake subscriber, first time rater. ‘08 alum that has the worst four years of Husky Football imaginable. I challenge you to find a worse four year stretch to be at UW for football. Anyways, love the pod and keep up the excellent coverage that I eagerly await most every Thursday.

Christian does the best job of anyone covering Washington football by a mile. As a former Dawgman guy for 15 years, I grew tired of their incompetence, Christian Caple has filled the void twofold.

Good combination of Purple colored glasses and realism from two great writers and UW alums!

The best Husky pod

I’m a subscriber to On Montlake. Christian’s columns are terrific and informative reads. His weekly banter with Danny is both informative and fun. Episode 104 offers some interesting perspectives on the economics of college athletics.

This podcast brings back fond memories of hearing Danny O’Neil on local sports radio. It was a shame when he left 710 ESPN! Christian and Danny have a great rapport and it is a pleasure to listen to them. I learn so much from each episode. Thank you Gentlemen!

Tune in for christian’s dulcet tones of wisdom and danny affirming you can piss on him. Five stars, absolute banger.

After listening to more than 50 hours of this I’ve decided to make Christian and Danny the Dawgfathers to my children.

It’s a good pod, not great. It meanders a lot and there isn’t much meat for hardcore fans. That said appreciate the work Caple does, I’d suggest he hire my Husky text thread over Danny.

Just a great podcast. The only minor annoyance is Danny’s laughter. Still a top notch show. The episode that focused on the passing of Jim Caple brought a few tears to my eyes, but also great memories of reading his work at the UW Daily and beyond. He’ll be missed. Thanks!

This is the best podcast for Husky sports period. Danny and Christian are excellent hosts with great analysis. Between this podcast, On Montlake and the Dub’d Up Podcast, you cannot go wrong. I’ll forgive Christian, Danny and all the UW Daily alums who put out the factually incorrect campus map that made me late to every single class I had on my first day of college.

Love the pod minus Danny’s constant hysterical laughing at things that are not that funny.

But I love it! “How could you listen to a podcast about Husky football for an hour?” With great anticipation, that’s how! Christian Caple’s in-depth reporting and knowledge of the program is unmatched. Danny O’Neil/Oneill/O’Neialle’s insightful commentary, sense of humor, and radio experience make this podcast a must-listen for any Dawg fan. And even though I work for a gargantuan online retailer, god knows if I have an idea for a product that I want to bring to market, or need to know how to grow sales, I’ll make sure to have a conversation with Ian McFarland. I PROMISE.

Of all the podcasts that are “held together with duct tape and baling wire” this one, by far, is the best, I listen to every one! Go huskies!

On Montlake and Say Who, Say Pod have helped me feel closer to UW football than I have in years as a displaced fan.

Greatly appreciate all of the UW football coverage provided by Christian and Danny. Also appreciate their discussion of the football-related items—the demise of the PAC-12, a move to the Big Ten, and a search for a new AD included. And even other topics like the critique of certain ad campaigns by our rival to the South. Note that this review is pending Danny’s promise to photograph and artistically improve the UO “Bo-dacious” billboard in NYC.

Take this how you will, but I had to do a Google search to figure out how to rate this podcast. So clearly I’m not the most tech savvy podcast user. Having said that, I can say that most of what I listen to on podcasts is related to UW athletics. So I do feel qualified to say that this is the best source. Whether you like deep dives on roster construction or media rights deals, or if you want to get big picture discussions on varied topics of daily interest like best restaurants for conference road trips, this is worth your listening time!!

These pods resonate with me and my current feelings as a passionate husky fan.

Christian and Danny do a great job of covering UW Football, the PAC-12’s ineptitude, and all of the other topics important to Husky Fans as we cling to the hope that there is a lifeboat to another conference with viability. I chose to subscribe to On Montlake after Christian was let go by The Athletic and dumped my subscription there. I encourage others to do the same. Keep up the good work! This podcast is an added bonus to the articles on the website.

One of the better UW podcasts out there. Danny and Christian are solid and entertaining.

Husky Football is the oldest big time Seattle sports team (remember there weren’t pro sports until the Sonics in 1967) but yet there is only one remaining media outlet who devotes a beat reporter to coverage. Christian and Danny fill a needed void. Thank you!
