New found treasure. I listen to MANY book related podcasts and this concept is so unique. If I love a book they mention I now have a list of related books. I also love that they are not all new buzzy books and I can find backlist with themes similar to new releases. It doesn’t feel like a booklist for kindle unlimited and I’m not sure but I think I may be in the same generation as these bookish friends and I love the way they review and discuss books.

Leslie and Laura are a delight to listen to. I love that they read a wide variety of books, and their discussions are always so interesting. They bring a unique perspective not found in other book podcasts.

I discovered this podcast in December 2023. It’s the only one that I listen to now. Why? It’s not overwhelming with the number of books discussed! They also mention a lot of backlist which you can usually get from your library with little to no wait time. And it’s typically under 30 minutes, so I don’t hesitate to listen.

I love this podcast -it’s a well kept secret. My TBR has grown enormously since I discovered it. Love the book choices and the way they describe them. Tell the Wolves I’m Home is one of my favorites. Well done ladies!

I have been listening since the beginning and I really enjoy the hosts’ friendship and love of books! While not everything they read may be my cup of tea, I love hearing their thoughts and getting suggestions for new books to check out. I grew up with Leslie Hopping’s husband and this is how I found out about the podcast, but I have stayed for the book talk, recommendations, and their friendship!

This podcast is like my dream book club: the members get to read whatever they like and then share reviews with each other. I enjoy the range of titles discussed and creative list of themes so far!

My wife and I really enjoyed this podcast! The hosts referenced several books, some that we have read. What we loved the recommendations based on the theme. We both have new books we are excited to read. I can’t wait for the next podcast.

It doesn’t get any better than two friends discussing books! I loved everything about this podcast. Their friendly voices either took me back to the comforts of a book I’ve already read or convinced me to add another book to my TBR pile! I’ll definitely be listening in to hear about their next bundle.

It was so enjoyable listening to this podcast. I knew I was hooked when the first book they discussed was one I had just finished reading and loved. I’m excited to check out some of the other books they recommended. It’s a great way to learn about books to read rather than just wandering around in a library trying to find a good book.
