Paid $49.99 but suddenly can’t listen
I enjoy this podcast so when it became “subscribers only,” I was happy to pay a yearly subscription of $49.99 on the Apple podcast app. This was on November 1. Suddenly today when I try to play the podcasts, although Apple is showing that I am subscribed, I keep being told to pay $49.99 again to subscribe in order to listen. Not quite sure what the problem is…

    Be more like them
It’s nice that these friends can show the example of how you can disagree without being a jerk. I love them. You just might too.

    Advocated for deporting leftist voters
I have listened since the beginning and generally respected the viewpoints shared and appreciated learning. However, I made the decision to cancel my Patreon membership and stop listening after Rabia posted on instagram advocating to deport voters who are voting for Jill Stein. This is dangerous and reckless rhetoric and proves that there’s little difference between her and Trump. Very disappointed and frankly terrified to see people I once thought were logical and intelligent slip into the same behaviors as what she claims to hate. As others have mentioned, when Rabia thinks she’s right, she results to belittling and rudeness, and now is so extreme she supports deporting voters who disagree with her.

    She’s really smart.

Espisode 1 of this podcast 🤯
Love Rabia’s explanation of facts since season 1 of Undisclosed. Espisode 1 of this podcast 🤯. As a millienal Californian, I know some things to be fact, and one of those facts is the Scott Peterson killed his wife. But when these ladies explain it, with actual facts, you realize investigators tunnel vision and their use of the media is a corruption of justice. Can’t wait to hear more. ❤️❤️❤️

    Nasally Voice
I tried but Ellyn’s voice is so nasally. I really want to support them, but I can’t listen to it anymore. Is she stuffed up or just a mouse person?
  • Marlowe94
    Hypocritical and absurd.
Listen to Ellyn rant about Nancy Grace in the Laci Peterson episode. The irony! You guys ARE Nancy Grace, just rooting for the other side. Have some self-awareness. And stop calling opinions fact. It would be one thing to offer reasons why SP might not have received a fair trial, but to state his innocence as fact? Unbelievable. Recommend only if you like rage bait.

    Abandonment
They’ve abandoned their audience for the sake of a pay wall. They give an 8 minute announcement that doesn’t explain a thing. But promise you the explanation in a post beyond the paywall. Terrible, low-life, classless move. I thought at least Ellen was better than this.

    Thoughtful and Fun
I could listen to these hosts discuss anything. The guests are always great. Discussions are thoughtful and well-researched. One of my favs!

Love this podcast and “patiently” wait for it to come out every week!! Ellyn and Rabia are great!

    They're both insufferable.

    Lying liars telling lies
So if you want to be misled, lied to, duped, fooled, etc… then you’ll enjoy this show. It’s basically two people who are so morally bankrupt they happily deceive their audience with a combination of obfuscation and misrepresentation. File this (and most of what Rabia in particular says) under misinformation.

    Defenders of Murderers for Clicks
Came here for Laci Peterson, may God rest her soul…. Shame on you and anyone with half a brain that has heard ALL the evidence including what you guys chose to leave out knows Scott is guilty as sin. There are so many people that could use media attention for their actual wrongful conviction, yet you are defending Scott because you know it’s a controversial case and want more downloads. Disgusting and delusional

    One of the best
This is one of my top 5 favorite podcasts. It’s fun, smart, and full of heart. It’s such a great balance of storytelling and new insights and funny banter. So so good.
  • Wild Dratini
    Rabia is a con artist
To see this woman continuously benefitting and profiting off of defending murderers is sick.
  • Allisonb092187
Longtime undisclosed fan who likes the format
I appreciate the deep research and work that went into the Undisclosed cases and know that can’t easily be replicated or sustained. I appreciate the talk show format of R&E and will listen to anything they do.

Makes you rethink what you were told
I was really surprised about all the evidence in the Laci Peterson case that was not revealed at trial. Very thought provoking podcast. Thank you.

Some people are scared on educated women and it shows.
I very much enjoy this podcast, which is well researched and presented. I have listened to other podcasts from these two incredibly talented and intellectual women, but first started listening to this podcast after they had Hillary Burton on. i’m not generally interested in the court side of things so didn’t think I would enjoy this podcast, but I very much did. Keep up the good work, ladies! Don’t let them get you down. 💪🏻

    Binged so fast!
I absolutely love Rabia and Ellyn. I love the discussions they have. So real and unscripted. I hope they keep the content coming! Just subscribed on Patreon.

    Garbage
Clearly in the business of trying to get murderers out of prison. Disgusting.

    Unexpectedly awesome!!
Wasn’t sure how good this was going to be. Rabia of course a lawyer and Ellyn an actor. But holy cow!! Put them together and it’s magic. Great, intelligent perspectives and insights into cases we thought we knew. THIS is the podcast to listen to when you thought you heard all the cases. This opens up new doors. Beautifully done. Great chemistry.

    Such impressive women!
These two are the best! They are intelligent , empathetic, inspiring !!!

    Wow -- absolutely no research
First time listener on this Black Swan episode, loved the show until they started talking about the Black Swan case -- presented without any research and only half the facts presented at the time and it seemed like neither of the hosts really did anything other than cursorily watch the defendants testimony and reporting her testimony alone as facts! such a skewed representation of a complicated case and leaving out some of the most intriguing information from the prosecution & defense, why would i listen again -- not trustworthy, goodbye!

Excellent and well researched pod. Great narration and fun discussions. Keep it going! Detractors don’t have open minds so they are easily offended and there are few. 💖💖💖💖💖

    Interesting
Don’t always have to agree with opinions. Find their podcast informative. Have learned things. One podcaster maybe a little emotional and at times I’m like okay move on but she does bring out the impact these case can have on a person. I like having a lawyer podcaster that can explain the legal situation a long with the fact that her background is different from mine occasionally brings up a different point of view than mine. I personally don’t have any issues hearing a different opinion.

    Great show….
A little surprised at the mention of Gaza and nothing about returning the hostages. #bringthemhome

I enjoy as a registered republican lol
I truly enjoy this podcast. My only note is, there are so many LGBTQ+ people that are also republican. Also, just bc someone is a republican, doesn’t mean they align with your view of them which is “closeted bigots”. Let’s not bash entire groups of diverse individuals. I listen bc I love the banter and how you make me think about other possibilities and I enjoy hearing intelligent women like myself discuss current events and politics. People don’t fit into boxes based on their political affiliation. KGQs.

Just can’t stay in your own lane can you.
I really like you guys! But your opinion on politics is not what I tune in for. I trust the experts of which, when it comes to politics, neither of you are. To call an assassination attempt an ear piercing is a flagrant foul. A hero was killed. Secret Service was strange in their response. You could have spoken the facts and left your alienating opinion to yourself but your hatred seeps out. And often. Where is the love for your community?
  • FMCMom
    Research?
It was really frustrating listening to the recaps of the Karen Read Trial. They got the relationship of so many witnesses wrong as well as other facts about the case. It really made me wonder if the facts they stated in other cases they talked about were correct.

    These women are everything!
I could listen to Robia and Ellyn talk for forever! They are so genuine, honest and hilarious. I love their ability to agree to disagree and have an open mind while staying true to their morals. After reading some of the reviews on here I can tell the people who left 1 star are not OUR kind of people. You two tell stories with clear facts, grace, and compassion for each victim. I always learn so much listening, but I also feel validated in a world that’s not designed to make me feel safe. Keep up the good work and the authenticity it is why the right listeners are here.

    Fantastic women!!
I love listening to Ellyn and Rabia. They don’t always agree, but they are a masterclass in how to disagree with love and respect for each other. They bring attention to cases you may have never heard about, and show the victims true respect. Definitely one of my favorites to listen to every week!

    Freddie Gray Jr
I haven’t finished listening to this episode, but I’m in tears. I am a Maryland girl and watched this unfold. Thank you for covering this and saying Freddie’s name. This crime against Freddie and the awful narrative regarding the citizens of Baltimore is disgusting. It is tone deaf and wrong to believe that POC aren’t afraid and don’t trust the police. Thank you again! You guys are amazing advocates!
  • mplnpyt
    OJ’s son? REALLY?
When you don’t even know the basic facts of one of the most scrutinized murders in American history, it’s time to hang it up. in the first 15 minutes alone they get several basic facts wrong and I haven’t even heard one reference to the DNA evidence. This is clearly a show for clicks and ad dollars. Another reviewer called these women empowered… but when you just spew nonsense, you are making a fool out of yourself and trivializing the death of two innocent people at the hands of a monster.
  • bridgetk81
    Brilliant ladies!
Rabia, with her velvet voice and bad-assery and magical legal prowess… Ellen with her desire to deep dive into areas we didn’t know needed a deep dive, a Jr law degree (side, if Kim K can do a JD by mail so can you Ellyn! Maybe Rabia could “sponsor/mentor” you!!💙💙in Md?!?) Ellyn adds the perfect touch of comedic relief empathy, and knowledge that she ran down every path, for HOURS, just because she cares THAT much… They both care so much about actual justice, which is refreshing… Rabia and Ellyn 2028

    Empowering
This podcast is empowering. Two strong women with very different backgrounds who are here to make you feel seen, heard, validated and empowered. I feel smarter after each episode. Ellyn and Rabia have such a unique perspective on the justice system that doesn’t make it feel daunting or overwhelming. But if you have a guest on here hating on Taylor Swift again I will put this podcast in time out. Women support women, period.

    Disappointing
I’ve listened to Ellyn’s podcasts for years… and have followed Adnan’s case for what seems like forever. BUT I can’t with this podcast anymore. I listen to podcasts to get away from politics and they just always want to bring up Trump.. and berate people who have different opinions from them. They are very alienating and I could see it being very hard to be friends with them in real life. I’ll have to stop listening because of stresses me out more than brings enjoyment.

    rebecca lavoie
vapid witch rebecca lavoie called boston one of the most racist cities in the whole world. She also called James Renner a conspiracy theorist. This witch has no integrity. james renner is an award winning journalist you grifting glorified ad reader. disappointed that rabia and ellyn did not call her put for these irresponsible comments.
  • Nobodyspecial880
    No
Was a big fan until Rabia posted the Scott Peterson is innocent comment then got an attitude with someone questioning her, basically saying she had many years of legal experience so she knows this as a fact. I can handle different opinions but not arrogance, especially when it comes to murders of women and children. Rest in peace, Laci and Conner.
  • NannyRA70’
    Nope
I love Rabia & really wanted to like this podcast, but it feels like a misstep on Rabia’s part. Ellyn’s “comedic wit” is not a thing. She doesn’t add anything needed to the stories, & IMO takes away from the victims. I’ll continue to support Rabia in other places, just not here. Bummer.

Love Rabia. Always have. Used to love this show. Ellyn has just made it unlistenable with her hatred of men, and overwhelming far left political rants.

Such an amazing and well researched show!

    Love these ladies
I feel confident that I will never have to cringe and regret this podcast being one of my favorites. Ellen and Rabia are thoughtful, kind, intelligent and not afraid to admit when they have made a mistake or revisited a topic and changed their view on the subject. Had to become part of the Patreon because I can’t get enough.

    I THINK YES!
After hearing Ellyn mention this podcast on her other podcast "I THINK NOT!" a few times, I finally decided to give it a listen. I was a little hesitant at first only because I thought I'd just be hearing the same stories and details I've heard hundreds of times, but that has not been the case at all! I'm just a few episodes in but have already learned so much new information, and I love the chemistry between Rabia and Ellyn! Their personalities compliment eachother so well, and I appreciate both of their viewpoints. It's also so fun hearing from celebrities I love but had no idea they were into true crime! I can't get enough of this show, and can't wait to hear more!
