podcastlistenersThe Lorelai and Rory of sobrietyThis podcast has become such an important part of my sobriety journey. I laughed when Madeline finally realized she hadn’t introduced her mom by her name, Megan. That’s okay, she has become my sobriety mom too lol Madeline and Megan truly are the Lorelai and Rory of sobriety 💕

crystal christmasRelateableI’ve been a listener from the beginning and I love this podcast. I wanted to add that I was hesitant to listen to the sober dating episode bc I am a single mom and not dating. However I still got so much out of it and appreciate you acknowledging those of us that aren’t in that space right now. You are doing such important work! I am thankful for you and your family. Thank you for also sharing them with us too. You are all very wise women! ❤️🥰

SG11-22Couldn’t have done it without MaddieI celebrated one year alcohol free last month and I honestly couldn’t have done it without this podcast. I didn’t have any interest in joining AA so was searching for other tools when by chance I found Happiest and it had been a lifeline for me. I’m a 44 year old woman with no kids, and it was hard to find a sobriety podcast that wasn’t geared towards moms or men. I’m not even a big podcast person, this is the only one I follow along with Rachel Laforce who I discovered through being a guest on this show. Anyway, Maddie I absolutely adore your approach to these weekly sessions. You are fun, bright and wise but not preachy or condescending. I love the episodes with your mom and the recent one with your sister. I look forward to Tuesdays and also had fun listening to the backlog of shows I missed before joining the community. I am so thankful for you and for my luck in being one of your happies 😀❤️

Ciera from North Dakotai can’t stop listening!!!!i found this podcast last week and i literally have it in my ears constantly. as someone who isn’t a typical “problem drinker” it is very difficult to find content about being sober curious while only drinking socially and not to an extreme very often. however, madeline often says that if it’s a problem FOR YOU, then it’s a problem and i so needed to hear that. i especially loved the episode about moderation (#58) and this quote in particular: “successful moderation is not about whether you can stop yourself from drinking, it’s about how it feels to only have 1 or 2 drinks. is it even worth it?” i truly am beginning to feel like i can tackle being sober while being thankful it never got “bad enough” for others to think i need to. keep on doing what you’re doing because it is so helpful and inspiring to everyone considering their relationship with alcohol!

Breno612Yes yes yesFound this gem of a podcast a few months ago and can honestly say I keep coming back for more. Madeline does a great job with putting out consistent and quality content. I’m sure it isn’t easy being a content creator and sticking to a schedule. She does it! I also love her mom she sounds like the sweetest person. I’m Sober curious but plan on being sober for the rest of my life ever since my daughter was born. 9 months strong. Occasionally listening to the podcast helps me stayed centered and grounded in my pursuit.

dietcokewithlime530So grateful for this podcast!I found the Happiest Sober podcast a little over two years ago when I was feeling very alone in my own sobriety journey. Each week the episodes made me laugh and cry and ultimately made me feel less alone and like I had found a new sobriety hype sister in Maddie. She approaches tough topics with such grace and wisdom. Maddie has fostered such a supportive community and I am forever grateful that I found it! I’ve since met Maddie and I am so proud to call her a friend! Whether you are new in sobriety, curious about the journey or have been sober for a while, I guarantee that you will find something worthwhile here!

leelabsThank you!Found this podcast around my 6 month mark while looking for some sober inspiration/motivation. I immediately felt connected to everything discussed and now listen in the mornings to start my day in a positive way. Sobriety for me has been a sometimes lonely experience, and to hear someone explain all the feelings, experiences, etc that I’ve been going through has given me such a sense of community and validation. So, thank you!!!!

kdhittSo sad to hear this commercial on your podcastPlease don’t try and influence your listeners with political podcasts or commercials. I was really enjoying your podcast until I heard a commercial at the end recommending a podcast talking about attacks on “trans kids and anti trans hate”. Just for the record there is no such thing as a trans kid and most right wing people don’t hate anyone, especially children, but we are against impressing or encouraging kids to change their gender. If someone wants to change there gender as an adult so be it, but this should not be discussed at all with children! My daughter pretended to be a wolf for the first 10 years of her life, could you imagine if I encouraged that, had her sleep outside and hunt for food, etc? No, that would be insane. As is this. Children are mutilating their bodies. This is absolutely child abuse. Sorry but you lost a listener bc I will not continue to listen to your “recommended podcast”. I wanted to give a one star but I realize a lot of people are simply blind. I pray that your eyes are opened and you delete these commercials.😕
