    Informative and interesting
I really like these podcasts - they provide deep insight into myself and my past. I have worked through a lot of my childhood trauma but having a professional therapist talk about this subject in a podcast has been affirming. I have several people I have shared info with and especially adult children who are learning to reparent themselves.

I feel understood, other podcasts don’t do this to me. Thank you Patrick.
Episode 13 “Is This Your Real Personality” was so powerful to me. Writing this in tears. I feel incredibly seen. Although I’ve heard some of the concepts in this episode elsewhere, never explained in such a clear, matter-of-fact, and compassionate way. Maybe I’m at a better place to let this stuff sink in, but I think the way Patrick frames things is so rare. P.S. more on the Hostile/All-Good relationship dynamic would be incredibly valuable to me

    Episode 11!!
Not sure which of these I’ve heard before since some are also on YouTube and I just discovered the audio version here when searching Nate Postlethwait, but just ep. 11 is incredible. Therapy clients are usually so discouraged and abused for being this honest in public, it’s wonderful to see a therapist collaborating with a survivor of therapeutic abuse/trauma and being completely real about the issues that exist within the system most of us are trying to access (or not because of the risks). Thank you Patrick and Nate!

    Healing Catalyst
I started following Patrick two years ago and because of his understanding of childhood trauma, I began to realize and acknowledge what I’ve been through. This experience prompted me to find a therapist who specializes in trauma and understands family systems. I have reached incredible amounts of healing but still get stuck sometimes. I know I can always refer to Patrick and get back to giving myself gentleness. Patrick showed me that my inner child still carries so many wounds that show up each day. I hope to join his healing community because I’m currently studying psychology and I want to understand myself and heal the things I still carry.

    Amazing
I’ve been following Patrick on instagram for quite some time and he has helped me to feel seen and heard, putting things into words that I could not express properly.

    Unable to download
I am excited about Patrick’s podcast. I followed this show weeks ago but have been unable to listen to a single podcast. I receive a message, “unable to download at this time….”. This is the only podcast out of dozens I subscribe to that is having this problem. I hope this can somehow be fixed.

    Such a great podcast
I found Patrick Teahan a few years ago in you tube, and now I’m so happy to have discovered his podcast. His personality is so soothing and relatable, and the material is very helpful.

Patrick’s knowledge and explanation of what abuse, toxicity and dysfunction are is a precious gift to all childhood trauma survivors.

The calm advice I’ve been waiting for
Patrick’s lived experience informs his practice and his explanations of relationship dynamics are easily understood. Also, shout out to his sense of humor, which is necessary at times to counteract the heaviness of the subject matter. If you grew up in a hostile environment where you couldn’t win even basic respect despite your best efforts, Patrick is definitely someone to have in your corner.

    Patrick is amazing
I’ve been watching him on YouTube for a few years. He's so gifted in breaking down trauma responses and how they follow you and manifest in odd ways throughout your life. Highly recommend

    Beyond helpful information
I have been listening to various podcasts to help me understand my loss of the love of my life who’s childhood I tried for over 20 years to understand and be his rock to unload and trust in me. 14 yrs of marriage and a 16 yr old son. It is now 6 months since he left. Knowledge is power and finding you, has made so much sense, it hurts my heart as I miss him everyday. Please please add more podcasts so I can listen and learn.

    Thank You
Patrick, this is so great, thank you for sharing. I grew up playing our family piano (which is now my job), as the child of two parents struggling in their own ways. Music was my first real path to my own healing and is filled with so much meaning. Your ability to model healing, articulate struggles and therapies simply, and tell your story, is a gift. Thanks for sharing your gifts. I’m a fan of your YouTube channel too, but keep podcasting.

    Already love this so much.
Thank you for sharing this story. My mom sold my childhood home when I was 18 (my parents divorced when I was 11) and she allowed people to kind discard everything in the house without asking me or my sisters if we wanted anything. As a result we lost about a dozen home videos from our early childhood. I was so angry and she just couldn’t seem to grasp why it was such a big deal, and even now I grieve that loss, and violation of trust. I look forward to the future episodes! love from AZ. 🙏🏽
