Hello, random internet people! My name is Salem Tovar & every other Sunday, I deep dive into the latest pop culture trends/topics and examine them way too seriously to see how they affect us socially & mentally in the silly little real world beyond our screens—encouraging everyone to laugh at life no matter how serious the topic is, but also to provoke the thought that things are far more profound than they appear! Tiktok, pop culture & bbl's- no subject is too surface level for me, I will always find a way to make it deeper than it's supposed to be.

    Great podcast
    Salem has such great commentary with a touch of her personality that I love. The podcast has great structure and thought provoking opinions. The only thing I would suggest is maybe changing edits for the podcast bc I cannot see some of the people and or topics discussed when it is in podcast format. Otherwise, keep up the great work!

    The audio quality can be off sometimes and the audio occasionally breaks. Other than that, I love the podcast so much. She’s so entertaining and I love her takes.

    is anyone else having trouble with the audio?? salems voice sounds gorgeous as ever of course, but whenever she inserts clips they get all choppy and sound weird!

    I ALWAYS appreciate the way Salem puts together her episodes. I’ve watched her on YouTube for years and so glad I can now listen to her while at work as well, although I do love her creative makeup looks too. She always bring a fresh perspective to topics. She’s incredibly smart, and empathetic and her voice is so soothing. Every episode is a banger. Love her! 🦆🦆🦆

    Just like the description of the show says our girl Salem is able to turn any seemingly surface level topic and go deeper w it. With the combination of the perfect amount of humor, research and her lovely voice, Salem gets you to think about how pop culture ultimately ties into us as people and I love it. I could listen to her go in depth about any topic!
