    Stop and Listen Now
If you enjoy Marketplace, Planet Money, The Indicator or How I Built This then you need to add this to your queue right now. Aimee and Ben (and the whole staff) do a phenomenal job of diving deep into a relevant topic and giving it just the right amount of intrigue and story telling to keep you engaged all the way through the process. I thoroughly enjoy how they take the listener through “the deal” and how it is relevant to what is going on today. The story about the strategic petroleum reserve is amazing. Take the time to listen, it really is one of the best productions around.

The writing is amateurish, at best.
Multiple times the hosts make oddly foolish claims that are similar to i high school YouTuber trying to sound smart. A good example is the direct claim that wrestling in the 1990’s is what caused the state of politics today and insured things like the Russia Collusion hoax and QAnon. This type of huge leap over multiple decades with hundred of millions of people with millions of different issues and directions requires a large amount of closing your eyes and just accepting there is further ground somewhere with which to land. Or, put more simply, the thinking of a teenager who has not been exposed to the greater world, but is certain they know how it all works.

Interesting business stories about well-known companies and personalities
Interesting business stories about well-known companies and personalities. Covers both historic and recent topics. I would recommend the “Bowie” and “Kraft-Heinz” episodes, but there hasn’t been an episode yet I haven’t liked.

    So good
If you’re a CEO of a company or if you have only a passing interest in business, this show is just as compelling. Aimee is such a great host — strong journalist, but allows moments of levity. Can’t wait to see where this show goes over time.

Top notch, well researched and well presented pod
Well researched and well put together stories that are presented in a clear and compelling manner. Learned a lot about the demise of SVB despite having heard a lot about it in the last couple weeks. Can’t wait to hear more!

    Compelling premise and storytelling
The idea that business deals, and the men and women who negotiate them, create our world — even if we don’t realize it — is an intriguing one. Loved the first episode on labor unions and the American-US Airways merger.

The Merger That Made The World’s Biggest Airline
As a frequent flyer this episode captured my attention from the first few moments. Many questions about the effects of past events were answered. I look forward to future episodes.

    A Much Needed Podcast
We need these deep-dive investigative reports on mergers. At the time of merger talk, hard news is too often subordinated to PR speak. Unraveling the realities behind mergers - and post mergers - is critical for better employee understanding of how mergers inevitably affect all aspects of their work life.
