Great podcast! Keep them coming!

I always recommend this podcast to anyone who is a fan of naked and afraid. I absolutely love Jake and have followed him on the show and on Instagram. I’ve been dealing with postpartum since my child was born and Jake and his podcast has been an absolute godsend with my healing. Can’t thank you enough for all that you do and all the joy you bring to people

My family has been watching this show from the beginning and Jake is one of our favorite survivalists. He is perfect as a show recap host as he is funny and snarky and well spoken and kind. Always giving the survivalists the benefit of the doubt while still saying what we are thinking. Love getting to hear from the guest hosts, too. Great fun!! Thanks Jake!

Jake is one of the most lovable Naked and Afraid cast members. I’m enjoying this podcast as it lets participants add so many details to what we see on the show. I especially enjoyed hearing folks describe Last One Standing where there was a lot of conflict that bummed me out. This podcast made me feel better. Jake is awesome!

Jake was always one of my favorites on the shows of Naked and Afraid, and now he steals that title for off the show, as well! It’s another great way to get the juice on Naked and Afraid from a participants’ perspective, sprinkled in with Jake’s humor and flair throughout. Plus, he always makes his guests comfortable and loose enough to spill the beans in a way we wouldn’t know otherwise. Highly recommended!

Such a bright spot in the day to listen to Jaked and Afraid. Never a dull moment on these recaps. Jake has so much personality that even when Jake has Jake on as a guest for the recap, it’s nothing short of delightful. I also hope Mom Nodar can join for some more recaps because her take is also full of flair!!! Love the podcast!!

I have loved watching Jake over the years and appreciated when N&A would have reunion shows after XLs or Clothed and Opinionated so we could process what we’re watching. The podcast is a way to digest the show while also listening to make favorite survivalist! Love ya, Jake!

My new favorite podcast. I have always loved Jake, and thought he had the best personality for the show, so it’s very cool and interesting to hear his thoughts watching other people who are on the show!! I binged all the old episodes and started listening recently during LOS.

Let’s be honest about this season of N&A-LOS-had it not been for Jeff, the show would have been an absolute ratings failure! People tuned in to see a survival challenge/competition. Not a bunch of naked people sitting around a campfire singing kumbaya. Who would honestly tune in for 10 episodes of that-NOBODY! The audience wants to see survivalists tested by both the elements they encountered out in nature and how they persevered. Which is why I was very surprised that the shows producers didn’t step in early on when they saw this group dynamic developing and playing out and remind the survivalists that it was indeed a challenge. Jeff tried to play it as such but was thwarted by the rest of Team Bully for trying to maintain and foster the spirit of competition. Even having one’s fate tied to what another might do and tap out prior to completing 21 days should never have been part of the rules. I can maybe see pairing off people for the first 21days but any and all allegiance should only be between the pair and not have these secret cabals develop that are gunning for the fiercest survivalist. The rules need to be drilled down upon/made perfectly clear and enforced for next time. Otherwise you get what we saw-Waz laying in the dirt having realized early on that there really was no need to sweat where his next meal was coming from or having to go out hunting/trapping/fishing. He clearly knew that the show’s producers would be providing dinner complete with food and a map of where it could be picked up. And the fact that he was allowed to go over and see what type of wood Gary was using to start a primitive fire should have been automatic disqualification. As well as sharing that info with Dan. The fact that they were fixated on Jeff for the entire challenge should tell you all you need to know. Had it been an actual competition there wouldn’t have been time for such nonsense.

This show is everything you want to know about naked and afraid behind the scenes. How can you not love Jake? Such a wonderful personality and incredible human being. Absolutely love the episode with his mom calling everyone lovely and hearing their relationship.

It was so great to hear from Jeff. He’s the only one who saw this for what it really was. He has never pretended to be anything he’s not.

Jake has always been one of my all time favorites! I just heard about this pod on Reddit and immediately subscribed! I’ve only heard one episode so far, but I’m definitely a fan! Also, I love that he has other alumni on as guests.🤩 Edit: 2nd episode. Jake’s mom is a great guest & I love her idea of a mother/son challenge (but with bikinis). They need to pitch it to the show!🙌🏼

Natural podcast host. Easy going. Great interviewer. If I could change one thing I’d make it a daily podcast…and by daily I mean 24/7😁

Jake is hilarious

Revised 7/2023 Wow, he says email your comments ……but don’t do that unless you want him to bite your head off. I didn’t even say anything remotely rude or hurtful but somehow hurt his feelings I guess because he sure hurt mine. Ouch. I don’t need podcasts. Unfollow and forget he exists. There was no need for that kind of attitude to a fan who did nothing but support him.

I can hardly wait for each episode. The next one is the river raft review. Who will be on? Jeff?

Jake you have always been one of my favorite. You have always been fair and kind and dealt with situations with your wonderful sense of humor. This interview, I’ve seen another side of you. Jeff is not the only one who yells: EJ, Laura, even Matt and others. I didn’t expect you to go on the “hate” Jeff bandwagon. It is really disappointing. This was the LOS! I don’t know how else you can approach this challenge. Not sure how you can be so hard on Stephen. Please watch the episode again. That said, I have had a lot of respect for Sarah and have enjoyed watching her in the other episodes; after this interview she has falling a few notches.

Jake has always been a favorite. So happy he is doing this. His voice and laugh is so perfect lol. I could listen to him talk all day. He’s hilarious, knowledgeable and we have the same opinions on everything.

I always loved watching Jake on the show and now get to hear his unique and hilarious take on other survivalists’ challenges. And his guests are outstanding every week. Thank you Jake!

Jake retired from NAA competitions, so we the fans are very happy to still have him around with this podcast. He’s a very funny guy, an experienced survivalist, and knows a bunch of the people. He’s a perfect host for a show about Naked & Afraid.

I will say it again and again, I LOVE THIS PODCAST and JAKE!! He’s wicked funny and gets down to the point and nitty gritty of what’s going on in each episode and what he is thinking. The guest are wicked awesome too! I do Wish the episodes were longer, at least an hour. I mean two hours would be even better but I know Jake is a very busy man. BUT…. JAKE I think, and I know others would agree that YOU should have another show just strictly talking about naked and afraid in general and invite the other survivalist on from past episodes and XL challenges. Like a Q&A and tell all. And have each episode for you know, like 2-3 hours… lol PLEASE!!!! :) I really enjoy listening to you Jake and everyone’s stories and experiences. The little FB clips people do time to time isn’t enough. WE WANT MORE :) I’ve been obsessed with the show since day one and will always be a fan.

Not only is Jake both my husband and my favorite from naked and afraid but this is my first ever pod cast I have ever listened too. After hearing it mentioned on one of his Tiktok lives I knew I had to hear more. Jake’s says what we say on the couch but out load for everyone to hear in a funny relatable way. Can’t wait to keep listening to more content. Gonna need me some Steven Lee Holt Jr. as a guest soon. Love Cheeney! Dan and Stacy are fantastic. Loved hearing her take on what was happening with Jeff more than what we saw on the show. So this is my new binge. Keep it going like a water wheel on a swift river. (I was trying for a Cheeney saying like as steep and a horses face…..) you got me I’m sure you did.

I can’t say how much I love this podcast! Jake is so witty and entertaining. He has fantastic guests each week. I would love to see… hear?… him review older episodes when this season is over.

Hilarious, witty, educational, and fantastic experience-based insight into what the survivalists are likely thinking and experiencing throughout their challenges. The exact perfect ratio of (hilarious) banter blended seamlessly with their overview of the challenge, and not afraid to call survivalists out when they need/deserve it!

Finally a Naked and Afraid podcast! Jake is funny and interesting. I hope you add recaps of other shows, specifically Alone, which doesn’t have any recap podcasts.

I’m a huge naked and afraid fan and in turn, a huge fan of Jake. How could you not love him? I was super excited when I learned of this podcast and I was not disappointed. I love watching the episodes and then tuning into Jake’s recap. He offers hilarious insights and commentary and I enjoy his rotation of guests. 100/5 stars!
