Forgive me guys, but I just found your podcast and this you tremendously. However, I must pick up what Gordon has mentioned and that is the impact of a manager on the team. I have been a cub van for 50 years but located 50 miles from Wrigley and 50 miles from the Brewer ballpark I watched Brewer games as well since coming to Milwaukee. I have watched Craig Council in action during that time. And in no way shape or form if I ever considered him to be a quality manager. and I am well aware of the complete dislike brewer and cub fans have for each other. But to bring council into Chicago as the highest priced manager in baseball is a complete slap in the face. The rickets family has tested my fan ship tremendously the past couple of years, and now they may have made the final ridiculous smart spending. As a cub fan, there is so much more to say, but I have said too much already. Keep going guys I will listen to you whenever I have the opportunity. In the meantime, my next piece question whether the Cubs are lovable losers or lovable winners and the answer is becoming obvious.

These guys are clowns and clueless. Don’t waste your time with these incompetent idiots, find another podcast to listen to. The audio is horrible and have no insight. Stay away from these losers, don’t waste your time.

I’ve never met a more negative and victim minded person in my life. Kap is great, Gordon is the biggest whiner in the world. Nobody wants to listen to a victim based whiner. It’s brutal. Go Kap! No Gordon.

Never though I’d miss Kap and Gordon arguing as much as I have. NBC ruined the cubs talk podcast by firing these dudes. Looking forward to their arguments, such as: Kap: “Mike Vail had the best defensive runs saved and BABIP EIEIO of any Cubs outfielder on the modern era.” Gordon(interrupting) BULLSH**!!! Jerry Morales was the best center fielder in Cubs history AND YOU KNOW IT!!!!!” Kap:”Jerry Morales was a Buick.” Welcome back fellas!!

So excited when I realized the boys are back! Nothing like the realistic take on the team and the bantering back and forth, gotta love it! Go Cubs!

So happy to see David Kaplan & Gordon Wittenmyer reunite on a new Cubs podcast for 2023. I respect both of their perspectives on the Chicago Cubs, and their banter back-and-forth is always a fantastic, entertaining listen. I can’t wait to see what the 2023 season holds for the Cubs, and I look forward to Kap & Gordo’s coverage and perspective along the way!

Episode 6 was unlistenable due to the background noise. Really wanted to hear about the Cards, but turned it off due to the noise and poor quality. Previous episodes were much better. Gordon’s negativity is still annoying, but he is consistent. Keep improving and providing good Cubs content.

Kap is a wholehearted Cub fan who gives deep insights and LOVES baseball. Gordon is an old school curmudgeon who knows and loves the game better than anyone. The interaction between these two is truly unbeaten. I’ve listened to dozens of Cubs podcasts and this one is absolutely the best by far!

Let’s keep it real- covered by a TRUE CUBS FAN, David Kaplan, this is what Cubs fan really want to hear! Glad you both are back!
