I’ve never heard two more negative, bitter people in my life. I thought I’d learn something about running my wedding business but these two just go on and gossip about how much they hate their job, hate other vendors and hate couples lol.

As a photographer but someone who retired from shooting weddings, the latest and greatest with M & L keeps me so entertained. Their conversations are REAL, and candid. Just how I like my photos. I’ll keep listening to this podcast as long as they keep talking!

Found this podcast and it’s absolute GOLD! Entertaining and fun but also informative. Yes they curse, but it’s rated explicit for a reason. I just don’t listen to it when the kids are around. If you need a laugh after working a long wedding season, this duo is top notch.

The Wedding Industry is tough but worth it for so many talented, creative vendors. Finding TVT clips on IG and later listening to full podcasts has really helped me release steam and laugh; knowing that the crazy I deal with as a Planner is very much felt by other key vendors - photo/video, DJ, catering etc - we’re all in this together. Michael & Lauren keep it hilariously REAL (sailor mouth & all) and always have a little tidbit of gold advice in every episode. I love tuning in to hear about “garbage people” and wedding horror stories every chance I get!

Such an open an honest podcast about being a wedding photographer and more. Love listening to the podcast and sharing it with all of my photographer friends!

Authentic, raw, real and refreshing! I love hearing the real-life views and hot takes of our industry! As a planner, it’s so fun to take in their perspectives and conversations. It’s all so relatable and laugh out loud perfect!

I want to like this podcast… But they curse so much, not even in an effective manner, then it takes away from the content and makes it way less professional and trustworthy. I curse as well, but their effort to make every other word a curse distracts from their content.

I am NOT a wedding photographer, but I love how this podcast is about photography, but not always about grinding your business. They talk trends, latest news and funny stories. I get so bogged down by every photography podcast talking about how to scale and grow. I come here to be entertained in the industry I love.

I honestly cannot remember where I first saw Lauren & Mike’s podcast, but it was during the time when they were suddenly getting picked up by the algorithm. I remember them talking about it during the time that I had just started listening. I do remember just being so taken by them instantly. And knowing I’d have to listen every week. Once they started uploading to YouTube regularly, I started watching every single week. These two are standouts and I am so happy to see them succeeding and growing. Perfect complements to each other on the show. I don’t often feel like I fit in in the wedding industry and I feel like I fit in with Lauren & Mike!

Not for the weak

I listen to Michael and Lauren a couple times a week. I’m currently planning a wedding and instead of going crazy trying to plan a wedding, I can just sit back and laugh with them. This pod is genuinely stress relieving and I feel like they would understand any issues I have. I feel like I can vent to the vendor table, and they’d either have a solution for me or find a way to cheer me up. It’s useful to learn so much about weddings if you’re a vendor or about to get married…but personally I listen to just feel like everything will be okay. Anyone who wants to hear tea, laugh, or learn about weddings or photography, this is the podcast for you.

I personally am not a small business owner, not in the wedding industry but have multiple family and friends who are. Supporting your local artists & entrepreneurs is so important & I LOVE listening in on this podcast & following on Instagram. They are hysterical to listen to, their chemistry is perfect for a lighthearted but informative listen for someone who just loves talking about weddings or an aspiring photographer trying to learn. Any one who comments that the cursing / language takes any credibility away from their business or knowledge should reevaluate why they chose to listen to an podcast that specifically states “explicit” the first place. Pay more attention to what you’re clicking on if you don’t want to hear it. Keep doing your thing y’all!

Feels like I’m actually at the vendor table or out to drinks with colleagues. No script, no overly fluffy pristine conversation. Real, honest conversation (which yes, can include swearing 😉). The format is refreshing and unique from other photography podcasts out there.

They say everything I’m already thinking. Listening to this podcast really put me in the zone while editing during busy season.
