    Pleasantly surprised
Even if you’re not super into Jeopardy, this podcast is really great! I grew up with the show, so it’s very nostalgic for me. I was pleasantly surprised by this podcast and really looked forward to the time in my car. Buzzy should have made Jeopardy host! He’s truly a natural at this.

    Awesome Pod
Huge fan of Jeopardy! and the pod. Fun, interesting, uplifting, and at times sad. I had the absolute privilege of spending a week in the Galapagos with Alex, his wife Jean, Rocky Schmidt and others on the Jeopardy crew. Jean is one of the kindest, classiest people I have ever met and after seeing her and Alex together, hearing her talk about Alex in such a deeply personal and intimate way was incredibly moving and brought a flood of tears. I’m not sure I could listen to it again—it hit me that hard. Thanks, Buzzy and the rest of the team that put together this pod. Would love to see an episode featuring Johnny Gilbert. We probably don’t think about it but the show wouldn’t be the same without him.

    Thoroughly Enjoyable!
I didn’t begin watching Jeopardy! until 8 years ago and find myself watching it most nights now. Buzzy Cohen is a great narrator and storyteller! I’m greatly appreciating the history, biographies and personalities of everybody, strategies— everything that is included in this podcast! It’s one of my favorite podcasts, and I am a podcast junkie, too 😋

Nice to hear the backstory of how Jeopardy became what it is today.

So well done and very entertaining!
Buzzy … you do a fabulous job hosting this podcast!! I really appreciate your dedication to find and tell such interesting and personal stories. Your voice is easy to listen to (and is not too fast….Buzzy’s dad!!) and you certainly have a way with words. Of course I was in tears listening to the So Long episode but so grateful to know that story. Thank you so much!! If we get down to another taping soon …and you’re there…I’ll get brave and say hello.

    So Long, Everyone!
Thanks, Buzzy, for your great podcast. Listening to this episode brought tears to my eyes. Alex Trebek touched so many of us deeply and the loss still stings. But, you and many others are keeping Jeopardy! alive and thriving, yet always mindful of Alex’s spirit.

Started off great. Last few episodes are weak
For a since 1984 Jeopardy fan, this podcast has been informative and really entertaining. There's so much to unpack with the long history of the wildly popular show. It started off with excellent content, but the most recent episodes are about the local LA bar the Jeopardy vets hang out in, then the next episode we are forced to listen to a confused about their sex "transgender" person's journey through life (I thought this was about Jeopardy??). Keep it about Jeopardy please.

    Sam
The recent episode featuring Sam Buttrey was great. He's so real. Just Sam being Sam. Then the last 2/3 of the show wasn't worth the listen and got fast-forwarded.

    Viva the Tournament of Roadkill!
The episode Ken's Run ended by teasing the idea of a tournament of his defeated players, and the Ken Jennings' Roadkill episode concludes with two former players suggesting that. Here's hoping Sony's teasing this as a step to making it happen. Great idea! Vid Hardt, Ken game 10 roadkill

    Art Fleming and a Ladder
This is great fun, thank you for telling this story, it really is a part of Americana and so many families. My sister Carol worked on the show during the Art Fleming years. Her job was to ensure the correct answer cards were inserted into the proper slots. She’d climb up a ladder just prior to the show and check each one. As contestants selected their answers, 2 co-workers scrambled around the back of the board, up and down ladders to reveal answers. She had a wonderful time there.

This is such an enjoyable listen! Buzzy is a fantastic host and the information presented is just enough. Thank you for a fun listen that talks about my favorite game show. I’ve been watching Jeopardy since 1984 and hearing all the backstory fills the trivia need I feel!

Great show…but Please Change the Music
If you love Jeopardy, this is a fascinating look into the history of the show that you’ll want to immerse yourself in. So fun to hear clips from old shows and Alex Trebek. One request: please change that background music from keyboard /techno to something more befitting a show like Jeopardy.

    Americana
Loved this podcast. As a kid who grew up in font of the boob-tube, it’s fascinating and entertaining to hear Buzzy walk us through the evolution of one of America’s most beloved institutions. Plus it even has a bit of play along! This is a great listen for anyone who loves Jeopardy! or likes TV.

    Excellent Jeopardy Podcast
I used to listen to the Inside Jeopardy podcast, but it was mostly just a rehash of the week’s shows—which I had already watched, so nothing new there. It became too boring and I “unfollowed” it. (But I did enjoy listening to Buzzy when he was on.). The new “This is Jeopardy” podcast is light-years better. Buzzy is a great host and the stories and interviews from the “old days” of Jeopardy (which I was watching then during school vacations) are so entertaining. Can’t wait for the next one to drop!

    There’s a test online????
Great info for trivia nerds and now I have a test to prepare for!!!! My parents have watched jeopardy for 50 years every single day. Also, traditional Jeopardy is to date the only tv I was not able to easily access after we cut the cable cord. I gladly turn off the roku and watch on analog caveman tv. 💋💋💋

    Love it
I am a self proclaimed nerd who loves random trivia. I am going to be on Jeopardy someday. I love that I can learn about the best game show. RIP Alex Trebeck. I think you may have had a part in my upbringing.
