Not sure the author has one eschatology. Please come back with one. Thankful for the dispensational discussion to prove this out.

I’m a recent convert to the Reformed faith after decades in the Baptist church. My Baptist arminianism and its rather recent traditions are all I was ever taught and ever known. Then came RC Sproul… I’m blown away by all I never knew while a Baptist: Doctrine (specificaly the Doctrine of Election), the writings of the Puritans, other schools of thought about the book of Revelation (!), the list is extensive. I’m currently rewiring my entire Baptist brain; its sometimes overwhelming but I’m an insatiable, eager student.. Eschatology Matters (EM) has been a fantastic resource. I listen to the discussions on baptism, the interconnectedness of the entire Bible, Revelation, art, and other topics with a spiritual and intellection hunger. It’s all new and I have so much to learn: I’ve gone from nursery school (Baptist) into a doctoral program (Reformed). The conversations on EM are lively, illuminating, and profound; the concepts discussed are mind bending and challenge just about everything I ever thought I knew. I’m having the time of my life consuming current, recent, and past podcasts.

The first thing I heard after hitting play on this podcast was an ad for a gambling company. A Christian podcast should not be supporting a gambling business. I know podcasts need all the sponsors they can get but I think you should look for other businesses. I’d honestly love to hear why you guys think this is not a problem. Maybe I have an unbiblical take on gambling. What’s yours? Thanks!

The Eschatology Matters train appears to be going off the rails and heading towards Moscow Idaho.

This is a great podcast that explorer all eschatology view points. Even though eschatology is a secondary matter, I think this will help you understand, and grow in the different viewpoints of eschatology. This is so educational and helpful and I’m so thankful that they started this podcast. Josh Howard is awesome!!

Glad that this show doesn’t take part in the flame wars of the internet. Those discussions exclude exegesis or Christian charity. Not so with this podcast. I come here to be stretched and informed. And encouraged by the charity of the host. I’d love to hear Thomas Schreiner come on and discuss his new commentary and new creation millennialism
