Getting organized always helps, but from the very first show I listened to I got some great advice about getting organized. One speaker mentioned, keep finding the why when planning travel. I seem to always be planning but this might help get focused.

Wow! Angel and MacKenzie know their stuff! I have leaned so much from them through their recent Tavel Summits! Their style is so casual and fun but they give you so many “Aha!” genius moments as you listen to them. Amazing info to save you money or gain lots of extra miles or points. Their Podcast is my favorite listen. Check it out!

Very helpful event and podcast! Lots of things to learn depending on how you travel and your interests! I learned new things to incorporate on my phone to make travel easier, such as downloading google maps offline so you can still navigate when your internet connectivity is spotty and using a esim to have better connectivity in the country you’re traveling to.

Just listened to the most recent episode (92) and discovered the struggle of not being able to say Chase or the names of its credit cards on podcasts anymore! The work-around chosen in this episode didn’t work, but keep trying! That’s got to be tough… I like the range of topics and get excited to listen to them. With editing and practice to eliminate unneeded phrases and sentences in the conversation, this podcast will be even more engaging and relevant. Best wishes!

I was looking forward to listening to Kevin from pointsanalyst to learn more about how a family of 6 can travel on points and miles. However, I didn’t learn much as the host went off on tangents about her own solo experiences. And oftentimes the questions to Kevin had nothing to do with what he said or what the discussion is about. Also, have you guys heard episode 86 ?

I’ve found y’all’s past presentations always helpful for learning something new so signed up for the summit with the same expectations and wasn’t disappointed! I liked how quite a few of the topics are things not often talked about in the points/miles/travel space (e.g. earning Alaska miles, moving abroad)

Appreciate you educating us on all things points and miles. I enjoyed the virtual summit, especially how leveraging non-profit for points and miles.

Mackenzie and Angel are an amazing duo and I’m so grateful I came across Angel on IG which has led me here. On Day 1 of their virtual summit I’ve already gained some tidbits about different sides of the travel industry I didn’t know - how to turn real estate into a source of points and miles, behind the scenes of a travel agent life and how to search for those prized epic flights. Can’t wait to dive in further!

They cover a broad range of topics to make this hobby less overwhelming.

These two ladies break down how to maximize your points (both earning and redeeming) to be an efficient travel hacker! They give you their real life experiences and knowledge that you can apply to your own situation so you don’t have to figure it out from scratch. Not only do they have amazing content on their Instagram pages, they constantly host free challenges and summits where you can learn more about traveling smarter!

Angel was one of the first content creator i follow in instagram and was able to book business class for fam of 4 and was able to experience suite upgrade at park hyatt busan. Follow her and mackenzie with bougie in a backpack.

I think these two probably have some good information to spread, but Angel ends up dominating the conversation with personal stories that don’t really add value most of the time. Try to stay on topic and let the other host speak, so you can teach more, and audio journal your travel less.

A friend told me about this Podcast and I am now hooked. Great info on how to truly travel hack and get the best perks while being smart with your miles and points. They share excellent strategies in a cool, informal format. I also love the Challenges they host throughout the year. I have learned so much and they have introduced me to some outstanding travel apps and websites.

I love this podcast and learn something new with each episode. I appreciate the challenges that are offered in the private facebook group and have been able to learn so much from the speakers that they bring to the stacking challenges.

They are very approachable and responsive through their Facebook group. I’ve learned a lot through their podcasts and fb challenges. They’ve made this hobby much less overwhelming.

I love that this podcast drops on Mondays because I can listen to it while driving to work. I appreciate when travel hackers like MacKenzie and Angel get deep in the weeds about strategies with credit card points and miles. Even though I’ve been enjoying this hobby for 8 years, there are certain strategies that they mention that I never knew about for travel. That being said, even amateurs, who play the points and miles game, will be able to learn some of the basic fundamentals from their discussions. I also enjoy the rapport between the two hosts. It’s like being able to hang out with two friends as they chat, but they’ll involve the listener as a third “friend” when they poll the audience, ask for feedback, and invite people to do their challenges. Nice job, ladies!

These ladies are very educated on travel hacking and love to learn from them! Constructive feedback - Angel sometimes tells the same story/example in the same podcast that does feel relevant and goes into too much detail about her experience, not so much about actual hacking and tips. Either way, I’ll continue to listen!

Just started travel hacking about 6 months ago and have a decent understanding of hotel bookings with partners. I find this show helpful for everything else, especially that the focus isn’t just on luxury travel. Thank you for the info. Will continue listening :)

Content is good but Angel talks way tooo fast and in the process skips over words or says things incorrectly. I want more travel, points, and miles podcasts so I hope this one can make the adjustment. I find it hard to listen to even when slowing the playback speed😢

Ashley and Mackenzie provide a lot of great tips (thank you!) but this podcast has been hard to listen to. Ashley repeats herself every episode and overpowers the conversation. I wish she would give Mackenzie a chance to speak, so that the episodes were more balanced. It also would be great if the info provided was more clear and concise, instead of random detailed personal stories. I’ll continue to listen because I think there are some great tips and advice, but hope that the conversations continue to improve.

Great tips/info/topics but sometimes Angel repeats herself, or repeats information or summarizes what its happening (especially in one of the latest episode). In the AIRBNB episode, it would have been better if Angel had asked a question to Mackenzie instead of summarizing. Personal opinion - the episodes are short and summarizing what is said is not necessary. If they want to summarize what was said, it would be best to keep it short and said at the end.

This is my first episode of Bougie in about bagpack. The ladies were very entertaining and had multiple examples of travel hacks for hotel bookings that they have used in the past. They provided wonderful eggs samples, and this will be very helpful in my future reservations. I definitely recommend this podcast. Thank you ladies.
