WarnkenAA gift to those with OCPGary’s weekly podcast is a gift to those with OCP and more importantly to those they love. I emphasize the last part because, as a person with OCP, it is my family who has compelled me to get healthy. My wife found all of Gary’s work (book, podcast, blog). She listens to it along with me separately. Gary is truly able to personally identify with many of the topics about which he discusses. His vast research and experience counseling others with OCP makes him a unique expert. Each episode is top quality in both content and presentation. I appreciate you how he brings a conceptual understanding to OCP and then offers practical ways to learn and grow. I am always excited to see the topic for the podcast. It never disappoints!

DJ_VahnI don’t have OCPD, you do!I was diagnosed with OCPD and I didn’t wanna believe it like all “good people with OCPD. This podcast was recommended to me by my Psychiatrist and, boy, am I happy about that. I recognize myself and have some new tools to deal with it.

Gwynevere2023What a Tidy Podcast :)I stumbled on this yesterday and have listened to half the episodes now. I hope there will be episodes on how OCPD impacts religious observance and how one handles that. I’ll definitely check out his blog and take a look at resources.

ChichitwinsI’m a huge fan!I listened to every episode Gary published here more then once! Gary speaks to my soul. He knows me better than I know myself. Every time I feel down, I listen to his podcast. I know they are not replacing therapy but I found they are incredibly helpful! ! Thank you for your work Gary!!!

JcarballGary is a fly on the wallIt’s as if this guy is in hidden in my house watching me then comes on here and makes a podcast to let me know how to be better. He understands me better than I understand myself and help me to remedy all the things about myself that need fixing.

Caracoles55Excellent podcastI found this podcast very interesting and helpful. Like everyone else, I have my share of unhealthy obsessions and compulsions, although they do not rise to meet the criteria for a clinical diagnosis of OCPD. If you've ever "sweated, sworn, swerved" and brooded for days on an experience that was not "just right," Dr. Trosclair's wisdom will help you develop some mental habits to gain a healthy perspective. For those who do meet the OCPD diagnostic criteria, the podcast offers much practical advice to help move from the unhealthy side to the healthy side of the spectrum. Dr. Trosclair's recognition that there IS a healthy side that can make productive use of such traits as being meticulous, organized, hard working, and ethical, is in itself therapeutic, I suspect. Dr. Trosclair speaks clearly in a pleasant voice and frequently leavens his talks with humor in surprising places. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that "there will be roosters" (see Episode 7).
