Disappointed in your conversation in the last episode about the woman having a mental health issue at DFW. Mental illness is nothing to be made light of. Miranda calling the video "watchable" is shameful. Do better.

I understand that it is challenging to find the right mix that gets your listeners consistently coming back for more. In general, I like the concept of some politics and some pop culture, both of which represents 75+% of my social media feeds (dog rescues are my next highest category🐶). But, I really don’t like Miranda in the discussions around politics because a) it makes Meghan lean much more left than she is when alone, b) Miranda needs to be fact checked and c) it has turned to fluff and substance. Miranda gets a lot wrong. So unless you are willing to come to the show with facts instead of feelings (like Meghan used to do on The View), I’d prefer she only weighs in on pop culture. I do miss your interviews with guests. It was relatively balanced and Meghan was a great interviewer. But I have been watching Two Way, so I can catch it there if you don’t bring it back to the pod. I have to say, this current version isn’t working for me and I’ll just shift to Two Way for a more balanced, factually more correct version if the pod remains in the current state.

It’s nice to listen to a podcast where both sides of the political spectrum are bashed. I’m a Democrat who’s not happy with my party at the moment & I can’t stand the GOP so, at the tender age of 60, I’m feeling a bit, shall we say “politically disenfranchised.” Beyond politics, it’s just refreshing for this retired, disabled, introverted female veteran to hear the views & perspectives of younger women. The podcast also makes my daily workout less brutal so I thank you Meghan & Miranda!🙋🏼‍♀️

I do love Meghan's takes and look for them on X. I feel she is very balanced on her takes. Even if I don't agree, I get where she is coming from. Miranda on the other hand is so biased. She makes it unlistenable at times.

I have been watching and listening to Meghan for years. I trust and agree with her judgement and thought process. I’m glad she has so many ways to connect including this podcast.

Edit: Episode 3/18 Revamp was awesome, I’ll hang in if this new style keeps up! I used to LOVE this podcast. As a true middle of the road American voter, I loved hearing different opinions and perspectives about politics. Lately it has seemed like a way to bow to anything associated with the Republican Party (even if it isn’t true to conservative values) and a consistent attempt to say people don’t like Taylor Swift (why are you obsessed with getting every guest to say she isn’t popular anymore?). Just seems like there was a big swing lately and it bums me out. I can just watch Fox if I want this type of chatter. I miss the real topics that affect us real Americans and hearing different opinions about them.

Is she bitter or is she honest? Not every woman wants to be in public life, so it’s okay that she didn’t want the job of FLOTUS. The rumors about the Obamas marriage are perpetuated by you. Stop, it’s awful and you, of all people, should understand rumors. Your pod may be tanking because of the negativity; we’re all exhausted from the world in general. Report on things, not people. If you’re data driven stay in that lane. Are you gossip, Republican politics, family, or just generally mean information? I recommend listening to other podcasts to learn a fair balance. I tried twice, I’m done. Good luck.

I’ve been a Meghan McCain fan for years even though we don’t have the exact same views. I started watching the view when she started. I was excited to see she had a podcast. I absolutely loved it till the new administration came into office. It used to be very balanced, she had people from the left and right on, I enjoyed hearing both side since I’m middle of the road. I’ve tried to wait it out since DJT took office but there hasn’t been any balance and the pop culture stuff has definitely started to sound mean girl. I would absolutely listen again if it became more balanced.

In fact you are hateful. This is a disgusting podcast and the woman you had on from daily wire should be hospitalized. Hateful jealous woman.

Nothing of real substance has been covered in the last few episodes. Everything it’s either gossip or inconsequential events in politics.

I used to enjoy listening to this podcast as another viewpoint outside of my comfort zone. It’s been getting progressively worse since the election. Today was the last straw when her and her guest repeatedly misgendered Dylan Mulvaney. All done now- no thanks.

For someone who has rode off the coattails of being her father’s daughter for this long, she’s really thumbing her nose at his memory with her gross fealty to Trump. This woman is a clout-chaser who had the opportunity to a respected conservative voice but decided she’d rather be a spoiled brat and follow the wave of Trumpism than have anything resembling principles. I don’t like using this word to describe a woman, but she is truly hysterical. Just embarrassing.

I wanted to like this podcast but ended up with just an ick feeling. I consider myself center left and loved Meghan on The View even if I didn’t always agree with her stand. Hearing Meghan’s side kick call Trump “authentic”, “funny” and just gush over him was gross. I tuned in to hear Meghan’s political perspective not teenage love whispers from her side kick for a man that is so off putting and divisive. I think Meghan has an identity crises and is using the side kick to speak so that she is not caught gushing over the man who disgracefully spoke of her war hero dad herself. Meghan needs to to figure out how she can live as a conservative during this administration and keep her dignity in place. Hint….think Liz Cheney.

I used to love this show and Meghan. I thought she had a fresh perspective and some key insights on politics which smart and interesting. Just lately she’s a bit of a mean girl. Its a bit hypocritical she does a show about women supporting women, meanwhile she wants to be this “juicy celeb gossiper”. I find it interesting she’s obsessed with bringing women of color down like Meghan Markle, J Lo and Michelle Obama especially on their marriages. Apparently Kelleyanne Conway confronted Meghan a few months ago about her mean comments on her marriage and family on her time on the view. Stay out of people’s lives Meghan. You hate it when people do it to you and play the victim. Set an example for your kids.

I used to look forward to this podcast but not anymore. Not sure whats the point of Miranda. She doesn't add much value. I also don't see anyone trying to bring counterarguments. Last few episodes feel like a puff piece. When so many things are happening, she choses to gossip about Obamas' divorce. For eg one of the episodes just briefly touched on tarrifs. But this same lady would go on and on about grocery prices in the last administration. Have you seen egg prices recently?

She is an awful human being and this show is awful. Could not get through one episode without hearing nails on a chalkboard.

I didn’t realize Meghan had a podcast until my fav Zach Peters was a guest. I’m so glad I know now. Miss her on The View, happy to have the podcast now. Love that even though I don’t always agree with her, Meghan stands for what she believes and can tell you why. Thank you for your unwavering support of the Jewish people and Israel, especially with how unpopular it is.

I think Meghan was the smartest conservative The View ever had. I love that her opinions are arrived at independently. Glad I found the show.

Updated review… Miranda is really not the co-host for Meghan. She GETS to do a political podcast with Meghan McCain and then complains about how she didn’t want to get up and watch the inauguration. Like, come on—it’s your job! Yeah your person didn’t win but this is your job and you GET to do this. If you aren’t excited about that and the opportunity in front of you, then do something else. Miranda’s remarkably poor attitude is really the worst part of this otherwise solid podcast. ——- This is my favorite political podcast. I’m a conservative millennial mom, same age as Meghan, interests and views align. It’s the only place to listen to real conservative views by a thoughtful woman that aren’t tainted by unmoored populism and MAGA. Great guests and great conversation. This and Mark Halperin’s Two Way keep politics in perspective. I understand Meghan and Miranda are old friends, but Miranda’s post-election behavior and thoughts were just absurd. She unfortunately either can’t keep up with Meghan or doesn’t do the work to keep up, and that’s the only downside to this show.

I really used to love this podcast and the differing opinions in a civil way. Sadly, Meghan speaking on the Obama’s marriage with zero fact supporting it and spreading rumors after rumors spread about her and her family I would think she would not behave this way. This is a political news podcast not a gossip podcast. We have on both sides of the aisle where these things are happening in the news and impacting position confirmations or the political landscape which then I understand. But spreading a baseless rumor and reframing from highlighting what is going on in her political party of choice (some of which is frightening to her listeners) is disappointing. I hope Meghan grows from this and I can return to the podcast since I did really love it. Until then I will be listening to others.

I love this show, but it’s been 2 months. Are you done?

While I don’t always agree with you, I have deep respect for your opinions and attempts to represent neutralize extremely divergent views.

This used to be my favorite podcast but it’s not what it used to be, even just a few months ago. Meghan gets a fantastic lineup of guests and her knowledge and insider expertise shines through in her questions and discussions. But I’ve noticed that the quality is slipping. Her producer Miranda has been featured too much recently. Miranda whines constantly and doesn’t seem well informed or educated on the issues. I end up skipping when she’s on. They also seem to take a lot of hiatuses, which isn’t going to help them build momentum.

Miranda seems a little weak if an election can send her to bed? You person didn’t win, help them do better next time and move on. You have health, healthy kids etc. I love Meghan but was disappointed she had someone(spevar?) on to go over cabinet appointments and then didnt touch on Tulsi and how as a new republican I can totally see her as the first woman president. We shall see what changes if any this admin brings and focus on changes Tulsi etc can make in the future.

I love Meghan. She’s always been an ally of the Jewish people, and she always fought back against antisemitism on the view. But listening to her just allow her guests to lie about Israel and Jews gives credibility to their lies.

Hi Meghan! I’m so glad you were on the Viall Files podcast! Immediately after listening, I went to YOUR podcast and listened to the Nov 8 interview with Mark Halperin. How refreshing to hear both sides, and truths. He was also empathetic to Miranda, which was nice because I remember how sad I was in 2020. Anyway, you’ve got me!

I love Meghan McCain and have been listening to her podcast since the beginning. Overall, it's excellent. It's so refreshing to hear guests from both sides and Meghan always engages in excellent conversation. The only thing I'm not sold on is Miranda - she might be a tad lightweight in terms of the political talk and her "depression" after the election was a turn off. Meghan needs someone like V Spehar to spar with on a regular basis on the show. Otherwise, the podcast is superb and I'm legit upset when they skip a week. Wishing you the best, Meghan!

I have listened to this podcast from the beginning. Love the POV of Meghan, but Miranda taking to her bed and whining after the election didn’t go her way is a bit much. Skip the parts with her and listen to Meghan’s interviews!

The fact that your producer “took to her bed” after the election was so nutty I can’t listen anymore and take her seriously….

Meghan does a fantastic job providing relevant statistics about who voted in the election and why. She brought an excellent cohost, post-Republican and Democrat, to share their perspective on the campaign trail and that, ultimately, the media did such an massive disservice to the American people. Great perspectives and information, especially for those in the Democratic Party wanting to reflect on what might move the needle in the next election.
