VanbindiJust friendsAdam, I listened to your John Wayne Gacy Christmas card story today and I thought it was so funny and interesting. I listen to the show already and really enjoy it so thank you for that, but this was so entertaining I was motivated to write a review (finally, sorry it took so long.) It would be fun to have more of these stories every once in a while. And for what it’s worth, I would keep the card too!

jmstanosmithNew and old cases- give it a whirl!I stumbled upon this podcast at the beginning of 2024. There is a good mix of some new and older cases, but still give it a try! I found that even if you did have prior knowledge of a case, you will learn new aspects of it in the way Jerry and Kim research and discuss cases- there are always new facts with his and her perspectives and comments. Along with Adam’s commentary and his questions, it is truly entertaining.

BsbydeerKim’s KindnessIt’s so easy to be mad at everyone these days, I’m so moved by Kim’s open warmth with the boys who have obviously spent years together being talented wordsmiths. She reminds me that we all belong in the conversation, and that our contributions help us all shine. It brings me back to every new episode and I hope it might do the same for you.

FloridaWoahManEnjoyable but deadlyI’m one of those people who never writes reviews but I felt compelled to as soon as Jerry discussed the donut hole of Dade County because, hi!, I live here, and it’s a daily topic of discussion. I don’t even try to explain why my side of the street has different code violations than the other and why even different police officers will respond should you call. And there Jerry goes trying to explain it in one of the episodes. I love the show and have listened since the beginning. I even came up with my own drinking game. Every time Kim or Jerry says, “Well, here’s the thing,” I take a shot. Now I am dead in the donut hole and I’m not sure which precinct will come.

jenndewTrue crime + comedy isn’t always awful….I recently stumbled upon your podcast (I believe it was recommended on another of my favorites!), & I have to say I love the way Kim & Jerry approach the stories, & while sometimes Adam’s jokes make me inwardly groan, I can appreciate the response as “comedy as coping mechanism” because some of these are truly heartbreaking cases. I’m still far behind (I’m only on episode 10 I think!), but am binge-listening!

GingerJenn74Iowa Hawkeye AlumLove your show and I am all caught up from the beginning. So excited that you are doing my university’s 1973 murder… but please, please, please fix the introduction. It is University of Iowa not Iowa State. Hawkeyes vs Cyclones. Two different colleges in Iowa which are very competitive with each other. 🤦♀️
-
2mnypetzDisgustingI only listened to part of one episode and it made me want to throw up. The murder these 3 were so casually joking about was the most gruesome case of physical and sexual torture I’ve ever read about. These 3 are disgusting to make stupid, inappropriate jokes while telling a story about the horrible murder of an innocent person. I hope no family member of a victim listens to this podcast.
-
MWilczewskiThe Amazing TrioI just found your podcast and I can’t stop listening. You all are amazing. Anyone that thinks less needs to GO FIND LESS! I love your rapport, your banter, and how much you really go into the cases. Keep up the amazing job!
-
Carriemimix4Love you guysI’ve been listening for about two weeks now and just love you guys. Ignore the lady that said you read from Wikipedia. She’s wrong. Keep up the great work and I listen to you every day.

Nish716Great PodcastI love the podcast and banter and I adore Adam’s humor.
-
BeneathSaltySeaGreat True Crime Podcast! One of my favorite True Crime podcasts! The care and empathy comes through clearly with each story. I love the banter and humor throughout. Keep up the great work! I am very impressed with everything I hear from this podcast.
-
KathyJafThe BEST!!Hey kids!! I have been listening since the beginning, and from that day, you guys have been my favorite podcast!! The format is great! Adam is all of us, asking all of our questions! The research, compassion, empathy and humor are a great mix, and your friendship is one everyone should be lucky enough to have! Thank you for making me laugh out loud in my car, so I look like even more of an idiot than I already am. Thank you guys! More Kim and More Yackin!!
-
EatyourokraMore than tolerableKim and Jerry do a great job of telling each case and l enjoy Adam’s role as the listener who has no idea what’s coming next. These three have me laughing while remaining respectful to the victims. I especially enjoy Kim’s background on each slaycation locale. So happy to find a true crime podcast full of many cases I have not heard before. Keep up the great work! Please consider joining podcast row at CrimeCon!
-
KateybriceInstant must-follow showI have been with the show from the beginning. I instantly fell in love with Slaycation which has a perfect balance of humor, empathy and storytelling. You are all just absolutely tolerable. P.S. more random yacking at the beginning of the episode please.

I catch myself laughing and having to rewind so I can catch what is said after. Love you guys and look forward to listening!
-
djcarolynPainfulI don’t mean to be unkind. The premise is a good one. The voices are terrible. It bills itself as funny. But I’m not hearing any humor. Pls don’t read the history of Aruba from Wikipedia. . I’m sure you’re all lovely people, but not everyone is meant to be a podcaster
-
truecrimechickLove ya!!I love you guys. I look forward to episodes. Don’t stop you guys r amazing!!.

podcastermiWhere have you been all my lifeAbsolutely love this podcast. I fast forward through the small talk on every other podcast, but I love their banter and listen to it all. Kim, will you be my best friend? I cannot get enough.
-
d.lewieLet’s GoLove the banter, commentary and twisted humor. Fabulous trio!
-
SN131313Great Show!Love all three of the hosts. Definitely not for those without a macabre sense of humor. Keep up the great work!
-
noralee cLove this podcast.I love this podcast!!! The first time I listened and heard someone mention my favorite movie Just Friends, I was hooked. Thanks Adam. (Kim, my sister is a master knitter so I have to like you) I’ve been listening since episode 3. Love all three of you. Thanks and keep up slaying.
-
sfhnjjk🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💋My favorite podcast. Yes, Kim 🤍🪽🌟.

Dirk PlatinumCould’ve been .Could’ve been good. But the Christophobic bigotry ruins it.
-
my little dogBest pod on apple!I started listening to your pod and then there were no updated episodes. Then the election happened and I was listening to all kind of hopeful podcasts about the new president and then she didn't win and now we've got what we've got and then I realized I hadn't checked to see if you had any new pot episodes and then you had so many so I canceled all my other pods and I'm just listening to you guys over and over. I plan to listen to all your pods over and over for the next four years and how many days until the new January 20, keep up the good work, you're my only hope!
-
SkinamalynxCan’t wait for more!!!…. Kim!!I love love love how all the hosts talk smack about the reviews and each other. Wish I hadn’t found this podcast so soon because I’m up to date on the episodes already and can’t binge them anymore!! I never wanted to go on a cruise before and now I REALLY never will if someone ever invites me on one! Thanks a lot Slaycation! 🤣❤️
-
lpn1ButterflyI love youI love this podcast. I have so much fun listening to this podcast
-
lost_poemMy newest addiction!I absolutely adore this podcast and can’t get enough of the hilarious banter and genuine friendship between the three hosts, Kim, Adam, and Jerry. They present stories of vacations gone wrong with humor, empathy, and wit, and it’s a refreshing change from the “usual” true crime podcast. My latest favorite thing is that they’re taking negative reviews and turning them into inside jokes (tolerable Jerry, More Kim/“The Woman,” Adam interrupting too often, etc.). They’ve brought much-needed laughter into my life, and despite their best efforts to show how many murders happen on getaways, they’ve inspired me to make vacation plans. Just wanted to mention that each of your voices hits in the perfect way for my ear holes, and I have to about I’m slightly jealous of your obviously genuine and pure friendship. Can’t wait for each next episode, and thank you for bringing love, laughter & a spot of dark humor into my week… love ya!
-
J7momWho wants to Vacay?I love the platform of this podcast. Two people know what it’s about and one does not, and he literally asks the same questions that I ask. These three are awesome together and you will think twice before vacationing again.
-
Horrible and I mean just thatCompassionate and factual yet entertainingThese are three podcasts host that mesh well. Two of the hosts do an excellent job researching the facts of the crime and report the crime details. The third host asks relevant questions along the way. Unlike other crime podcasts Kim, Adam, and Jerry offer useful safety tips while vacationing. I look forward to their thoughtful takeaways at the end of each podcast.
-
RondyPTrue Crime told in a different wayI am addicted to true crime podcasts & follow a ton of them- each one delivers the stories in their own way… this one is my new favorite because I love the banter amongst the hosts! They tell the stories in a respectful way- but you can feel the relationship they have amongst each other. It’s refreshing and different- they in no way downplay the stories or disrespect the victims!!! The story is the story and they give their input- respectfully to the families and the victims… but because of the banter amongst them- it lightens the mood… I find myself laughing bc Kim always cuts the men off while they’re talking… but it’s Kim so it’s ok!! If you haven’t listened- give them a chance! You just might enjoy it! And full disclosure… I’ve purchased my “PACK YOUR BODYBAGS…” shirt!! Love it!!!
-
Rdunswo0Podcast SlayI listened to an episode and was hooked! I absolutely adore Kim, she’s my favorite! Her voice is very calming to me. The 3 hosts have such great chemistry together and always make me laugh.
-
JustJessPleasePack your body bags!I love this show! I throw it on while my son watches to brainchild on repeat. :) this podcast is so much fun! It feels like I’m sitting at a table with really good friends and having great discussions. The structure of the show is so unique with Kim and Jerry telling the story and Adam is in the seat with us listeners. I don’t know how many times Adam asks the questions I’ve literally been thinking while listening. I can’t tell what’s my favorite part of the show if it’s the crew reacting to poor reviews with the the most unserious attitudes or listening to Kim go off and tell us how she really feels about the perpetrator(s). My take away? If you enjoy a good laugh on the side of your morbid curiosity this is the perfect podcast! 5 stars all the way around! I love you guys!
-
Jen_BunnyHilarious True Crime/ Comedy trioI look forward to the show every week, so glad I clicked on it at episode 13. I couldn’t understand the low reviews. Then it became hilarious when you guys started reading them. To Kim, I love that you’re black🫶🏽. Tex, Just Friends is by far the best RR movie. It’s always in our annual holiday movie line up, next to Die Hard & A Christmas Story. With Jerry, you guys make quite an entertaining true crime/ comedy trio.
-
sarahfgjkVery funny show.I listen to this podcast when I’m hiking solo in the Santa Cruz mountains. The murder capital of the us in 1970s. Thank god we are not still the murder capital. Maybe you can find a Santa Cruz story for a future episode. More Kim! More Kim!
-
Kerry MoodsterThe Banter That Saved My SanityIf you’re looking for a podcast that feels like chatting with your funniest friends while dodging five kids’ chaos, look no further than "Slaycation." The banter between you three is pure gold! Honestly, I’ve laughed so hard that I almost dropped a kid—or at least a snack. You turn everyday nonsense into comedy gold. I never thought I’d find myself cracking up over random life stories, but here we are. Your dynamic is like a Texas barbecue—hot, messy, and always a good time! So, don’t hold it against me for being from Texas—your hilarious episodes are my secret weapon against the daily grind. Keep the laughs coming; y’all are the highlight of my day!
-
mizzlanayBest way to limit the stress of workSo, I stumbled across this podcast earlier this year and have been hooked since. Although another’s persons traumatic experiences should not be comical this teams chemistry and storytelling is something that shouldn’t be missed. I love it…💜💜💜💜💜
-
fjafriGreat true crime+banterThe podcast brings amazing true crime stories with humorous banter added it. It is hilarious. The humor does not disrespect the victim, yet the banter with a few “dad joke” adds a twist to the podcast. Looking for something new in the true crime line up, this is a winner.
-
siamese dream 83Hilarious and InformativeLove the rapport between the hosts. Love their sense of humor. But note that if you feel jokes and true crime don’t mix, this might not be for you. I’ll also add that this is one of the few true crime podcasts where I haven’t already heard of every case beforehand. The stories are new and they clearly do their research.
-
salodoDeath in Venice FLI like this episode’s banter in the beginning. I laughed a lot during this episode but I was disappointed that it was such a short case. Sometimes I like the two parters because there’s so much detail. I was sad that this one ended so quickly and without a resolution. You guys are great I love listening to this podcast and all three of you combined are a dream. P.S. I like that Adam took over the factor ads.
-
Fisherman1234For the less KimmersNever written a review for a podcast, but this one takes the cake. I CANNOT get enough of these podcasts. Thank you to the woman, the tolerable one, and Adam for making my drives to and from work some of the best parts of my day!
-
MomofclairePerfect true crime trio! Need more Kim!I have been with this podcast from the start! Love the combination of these 3 podcasters. They tell a true crime story that has obviously been throughly researched….each interjecting to make it funny and interesting. Would definitely recommend! Hats off to Kim who keeps the show on track with patience and love 😂
