    Mixed Reaction
Pros: I appreciate learning about a lot of cases I’ve never heard of before, some that have little coverage. She does a great job balancing with info about the country so that she isn’t fear mongering. Victims are spoken of respectfully. Cons: It’s so hard for me to take someone with a line of swimsuits called The Boyfriend Bikini seriously. Each bikini is named after a type of guy she has known… ick. I cringe every time the commercial comes on. There are so many more episodes about men than there are women.

This is one of my favorites and I support this Podcast on Patreon and listen and watch on Patreon. I’m exiting Patreon to encourage everyone to enjoy the engaging stories every week of missing travelers.

    Excessive ads
This podcast is unlistenable due to the egregious amount of ads. Every few minutes is another ad break. The content is fine but it’s not that great of a podcast to be worth listening thru all that

Jamie did great on this. I love the background information and extra little facts. This was better than I expected and I’m happy I tuned in. Keep it up!

    Interesting and informative
I appreciate this podcast. The content is interesting and informative. I enjoy learning about the places and cultures in each episode. The stories are sad and the fact that all of them are unresolved is certainly disturbing. I think it would be interesting to also include some cases where the crime is resolved. They still took place in these exotic locations and there was a process to figuring out who killed the vacationer or traveler and how justice was achieved for that person. This would allow for a wider range of cases to be included. if you don't appreciate the hosts voice, I would suggest reading the transcripts of these episodes. It is a great opportunity to learn about other places.

    Get on with it
I love Strictly Stalking so I was excited for another podcast but I just didn’t like it the way I wanted to. I feel like there’s way too much information in the beginnings of these episodes. I get so bored with the start of it that I don’t even get to the meat of the stories before I change it. It doesn’t seem relevant.

    Giving Up in Despair
This is my 3rd try at this podcast. It’s unlistenable. I could maybe handle the amateurish reading-aloud vibe because the stories are so compelling, but there’s all this dumb Wikipedia filler and tasteless cutesy jokes and the pointless fluff. What ended my third attempt? Listeners are told the victim “enjoyed cooking delicious dinners.” Incredible waste of eardrums.

    Great podcast
If you like mysteries and lots of info about a missing person, this is the podcast for you. Jaime goes into deep details about the missing person and offers her thoughts on what happen. Great travel info about the location.

    Love it
I love the background info on the travel destinations and just all around great! I also highly recommend her other podcast “Strictly Stalking” both of these podcasts are interesting niches that needed attention. Btw..who did your awesome cover art? Perfect for this podcast!

    Fabulous
Best podcast I’ve found in a long time. Professional, knowledgeable this host is fantastic. Her research must be mind boggling. My new #1 podcast to look forward to. Thank you !

    Enjoying more
I am enjoying this podcast and stories of the individuals it maybe could use less of the travel guide thing but maybe people like that. I do like when she talks about her own funny learning experiences or maybe someone else’s crazy experience in that location where she may have not taken her own advice letting loose a little and seemingly less scolding regarding folks drinking etc. I will keep listening.

    Irritated by the haters
Look, I get it, we all have preferences in our listening choices. If you don’t like someone’s voice, then just move on. There’s no reason to leave a bad review about that. What do you think she can do about that? As a podcast host myself, I hear all the different avenues and all the different aspects of the stories that Jaime is covering. There are reviews in this list talking about how it took no research to do these stories. That is absolute bollocks. There’s not only research about the case itself, there’s research about the geographical location, there is research about the regional customs, there is research about things you can do and things you should not do when you’re in this location. That is a huge number of things that she is trying to in order to make you understand the context of what happened to the person she’s talking about. So if y’all would just get over yourselves, this is really well done, and if I ever travel to any of those locations, I will certainly be re-listening to that relevant episode. I can agree that a little better acoustics treatment in the room where you record would be helpful, but it’s not so bad as to be distracting or deserve a one star review. Jaime, ignore the ignorant haters, keep doing what you’re doing. I never miss an episode.

    Fabulous!!!
Super avid true crime listener here:) I have been wanting this type podcast forever, and now that I started, I can’t stop! thank you Jaimie! I love the simplicity and directness with which each episode is delivered. No fluff here, and she does such an amazing job of transporting the listener to the scene as she brings light to these more obscure, international cases hopefully to get them solved! I appreciate how she begins each episode situating the setting, really bringing the listener on board. The cases are very interesting and the details are so thorough. Exactly what I want to hear and how I want to hear it. Thank you!!!! 😊

    I tried.
I wanted to like it because the idea sounds awesome. But the delivery of the content is horrible. It seems like someone wrote a term paper and then read it out loud. The voice is also a bit much for me.

    Yikes
Is this a high school student reading a book report? This a great concept for a true crime podcast, but the execution of it is terrible.
  • kristen.nova
    Love it!!!
Makes me want to travel more!!! Although these are pretty much horror stories the way they are told is perfection. Well done 👏🏻

    Intriguing
I look forward to this podcast every week. The travel information is interesting as is the last trip story. I think it has steadily improved since its inception. It would be nice if there were fewer commercials.

    Not for me
I wanted to love this, but I don’t even like it. Maybe it is the fact that the creator is basically an influencer, or maybe it just isn’t well done. Either way, it isn’t for me.

    5 for a reason
I travel pretty regularly throughout the year alone and often searched haunted areas to visit when I reach different destinations. But this podcast has me internet sleuthing for real people that experienced real situations. If you like the show White Lotus, this pod has similar vibes.

    high hopes dashed
Great concept. Awful execution. Host and guests with narrow world views and limited experiences. Lack of understanding of other cultures and norms. Don’t waste your time
  • Runner Meg
    Great Show!
I love how you added more information about travel to the specific area from someone local at the beginning of the episode! It gives such a better insight to the area and also gives a realistic perspective of the area instead of letting listeners get scared off by the tragic cases that get covered. Your podcast checks the box for my travel bug and my true crime fascination!!

    Great Premise with Terrible execution
I love the idea behind this show, it’s such a unique concept for true crime stories. That being said, that’s pretty much where the positives stop. I’m not exaggerating when I say they could not have found a worse host to present this material. It sounds like a middle school book report, which the host mindlessly reads off Wikipedia facts she found in 30 seconds of research for the first third of the podcast before she actually dives into the subject where she constantly interjects her “commentary” on the topics, which is nothing more than generic buzzwords. She conducts no interviews or any kind of advanced forensics or analysis, leaving you with no more knowledge on the cases than you could get with 45 seconds of Google searching. I cannot stress enough the uselessness of listening to this podcast.

    Love strictly stalking but this..
Feels like a student reading a paper they copied and pasted for class. Great idea but delivery just isn’t it
  • Redbullready
Could be great with some tweaks
The flow feels off, there are some quirky bits that are quite fun but executed strangely. I love this idea of melding true crime and travel but the format leaves me frustrated and confused and feeling like I’m jumping between and travel podcast and true crime podcast. I love the flight attendant bit in the intro and wish we would stay within that format. Instead it feels like the concept is sprinkled in for fun and then abandoned. The history/visitor/sight seeing advice section needs to be way shorter, and some how made more relevant to the case. The travel tips could be added to the episode summary, rather than a part of the podcast. And honestly the speaking could feel a little more natural and less like it’s being read off and like nervous book report. The concept has the making of a a great fun unique podcast but the execution needs a bit of work before it’s there.

    Love
I absolutely love this podcast. I was already a fan of Jaimie’s from her other podcast Strictly Stalking, also amazing. Anyways, this podcast is so well researched. She not only covers the story efficiently but she also provides history about the location as well. She also has great travel tips/advice and that can be invaluable in new places. So many people show up to a new place with zerrooo idea how to behave and I love that she discourages that but with such a positive tone. And bonus, I LOVE her voice, could it be any cuter?? Definitely not. 10/10

    Back off Religion
A nun would not commit suicide for religious reasons, but is a good option for starting a new life because being Catholic is so bad? Bad/cheap sound quality. Immature Instagram is bad for true crime social media. Try to sound like not reading. This sounds like a bunch of copy and paste from different sources. The more I listen the worse it gets. There are many spots where she appears to be quoting someone, but does not say quote, he said, he told or similar. Speaks way too fast, with poor use of punctuation detectable, just one world's longest run on sentence.
  • k spilks
    Great idea. Atrocious delivery.
Do you want the experience of being talked to like you’re a 13 year old girl by another 13 year old girl reading a Wikipedia article at you? Then this podcast is for you. “OMG you guyyyyyzz. That’s, like, so creepy.” It’s beyond grating.

What a podcast: Historical, Factual, Analytical, Useful.
I just listened to Jaime Bebee’s podcast The Last Trip, Ep 6: Jennifer Michelle Lorber. Why that episode? Because I have a client who lives in Malibu, and that story literally hits close to home. Woah, what a podcast! HISTORICAL: I thought Jaime’s show had a great opening with local history of the region in question, to set up the following true-crime story and recommendations. FACTUAL: I thought Jaime made a great presentation of facts on all points relating to the story: locality, demography, victim’s case study, etc., which were utilized well in developing her analysis of this case. ANALYTICAL: Most appreciated element of the story was Jaime’s thorough knowledge of the facts extraneous supporting facts, and superb analysis of those facts, in addition to her opinion presenting alternative options for what may have truly occurred despite so much being unknown with the case. USEFUL: Jaime had a good conclusion and I like the added safety tips for those visiting the area. Sad topic, but I enjoyed Jaime’s narrative!

    Very Interesting Podcast
I have always loved listening to Jamie Bebee on Striking Stalking so know I would enjoy this podcast. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the podcast is. I love how she gives specifics on the area and how to stay safe in the area.

This sounds like high school presentations done by someone who is reading directly off of their PowerPoint slide.

    Research Isn’t Reading Reviews online
This is so ridiculously speculative…no talking to first hand witnesses or even visiting the country. Reading Reddit theories and YouTube comments isn’t research. Fun I guess? But THIN!

    Very weird
There are a lot of juxtaposing moods going on. A lot of research went into this. Some dark subjects of course and really fun and interesting.
  • Supboo22
    Meh
Was excited to listen to the show but it feels very amateur. She does the research, but the way she presents it all is choppy and weird. The intro music and everything just feels out of place. Even the pink font on the logo gives amateur vibes. There’s room for improvement and I think it has the potential to be a great podcast, but right now it just needs more oomph.

Excellent! tourism with a scary tale to tell.
Off to a good start, will be waiting for more.

    High School
I’m sure these are important stories, and I was willing to listen to them, but the narration is read, not fluidly, as if it were a high school presentation. The bones for a good story are there, but there is work yet to be done in organizing thoughts and creating appropriate tone. Maybe as the stories are released there will be improvement. I’ll check back another time.

    Informative & Mysterious
Love the way she talks about the history & then diving into the case is seamless. Also makes me want to travel more… but not get murdered!
