There are many podcasts for church members these days. This is one of the best.

I began this class because I wanted something different. Something that would teach me, enhance my study, BUT help me study further on my own. My favorite part has been how he points out the ways different people in the BOM speak. I also LOVE the “nuggets” he points out that prove Joseph Smith couldn’t have written on his own nor made up! Just little details I have passed over for years! He has also encouraged me to do side studies… I especially loved at the beginning of the course the “pray like a prophet” side study. I marked every prayer of a prophet with the help of his spreadsheet and noted in my scriptures HOW they prayed. It has been very enlightening for HOW I should pray. I also loved how he continually points to current Prophetic teachings and quotes. Because as important as the BOM is we have a living prophet guiding us now. I love how he wove in those teachings and applied them alongside the BOM prophets. Thank you brother Hilton! This has been an amazing study!

Every week I look forward to seeing which direction Brother Hilton will take us with our Come Follow Me lessons. There is always something unique that I hadn’t considered before, but when he mentions it, it’s as if I knew but didn’t know how to dive into it. I’m so grateful for his dedication to helping others learn the gospel of Jesus Christ, his testimony helps mine!! Thank you, Brother Hilton!

I love the classroom “atmosphere” John Hiltons creates as he teaches even though I’m at home studying on my own there’s a sense of community to the class. I’ve learned so much and have felt closer to Jesus Christ through this podcast.

Love anything John Hilton iii does. He knows his stuff but shares it in a way even I can understand and be inspired by!

John Hilton has some great insights into the gospel. He also has a great sense of humor where he is not afraid to look a little silly or point out some of his own flaws either to make a great point about when he did not follow the gospel perfectly, or just to have a funny anecdote/bit in the episode. Some of his analysis of the number of times words or specific language used can feel pedantic but it’s always helpful to get a more full understanding of the Book of Mormon text, and doesn’t take away from the spirit. So a good balance of academic booo of Mormon reading, soirit based teaching, and personalization of the text for himself and us. I really like it.

I love the style of teaching! First found John in his Seeking Jesus series ♥️♥️. Great insights, love the “wish granted” have to wonder how he always knows what I’m wishing for!

I love John Hilton’s master class. I listen while i drive and wish I could watch and see the material. I also appreciate John’s research, stories, nerding out on numbers etc.

This podcast is full of depth and inspiring insights. I especially appreciate his clarification of words. Learning what the definition of the words were in the 1800s, how many times a particular word is used by an individual, and hearing other verses that add additional insight for a word is fascinating. In addition to this wonderful podcast, he provides additional resources that are great teaching tools. Thank you for sharing!

I love the insights … I don’t see them myself… but once Bro Hilton raises my spiritual awareness, I can begin to internalize new spiritual truths that the lord has placed for us to see. Tender mercies revealed!

John Hilton III packs a ton into this quick podcast. He does a great job of explaining who was where, when and why, along with spiritual insights that I would never see for myself. I always feel smarter when I’ve finished an episode. And if I want to know more, or have a question, he gives a million links. Definitely check the Book of Mormon masterclass out!

I have throughly enjoyed each class and never felt so well prepared to tackle the scriptures by myself. I also have loved all the personal applications and how Christ centered the classes are.
