lilith and adamI love Fibber and Molly!I discovered this podcast about 10 years ago, and I’m so very glad I did. I’ve listened to almost every episode, some several times, and it always helps cheer me up. No one gets the references, but I’m always looking for someone else who knows and loves Fibber McGee and Molly.

HSutterBest comedy from the golden age of radioStill holds up and delights; a glimpse into an era when the country pulled together, sacrificed together, and laughed together. Of course there were problems and failings, but there is much we can learn today from the united efforts of our parents and grandparents when they faced trials and how they stood up to economic struggles and shortages and the need to come together as a country to face an enemy (perhaps as bad as any pandemic we’ve known).

JakeWestbrook13Classic Radio1 reason why Fibber McGee & Molly was so good: It's rare in a comedy to find the couple happily married and supportive of each other. This show is far better than anything found on the television today.

TARHEEL SQUIDGREAT TO HEAR THE CLASSICS!I've enjoyed hearing the Classic Radio Shows broadcasts for several years on XM Radio. I'm a huge fan of this show and the many others that have been dusted off and placed onto ITunes. Glad to see so many others sharing the same enjoyment as I. Amazing that despite the passage of time, good clean humor does not fade away.

sing2ndnGood Show!If i remember correctly, didn't the Waltons listen to this show every night? it was their only entertainment since tv wasn't invented yet!

Bill in SwedenBill in SwedenA truely funny show. Can listen to certain episodes over and over. Simple and innocent humor - wittier than you might assume. Why no new episodes in so long?

Ethan StupkaThey're great! We need to remember the true american family values. I believe we have lost sight of them. This brings them just a little bit closer.

kinghazzahFantastic and EXTREMELY funny but needs technical workWhile I love the subject material, the last episode I tried to download, number 21 with the zither lesson only 1 second of the program downloads. PLEASE continue to offer these valuable slices into Americana from our past but also try to check the system for "buggs" in case of situations like the above. THANKS for giving us this wonderfully funny OTR.

Lucky RetiredGreat, but what's with the 3 Jan Podcast?I love this show. The quality isn't the best in the beginning casts, but it's still definitely able to be understood and it improves as it gets older. However, I only received the first second of the latest caste. I'd love to see it reuploaded.

KellyOmahaDisappointing Audio QualityI looked forward to enjoying the program, but these recordings have obviously not been restored to any degree. After attempting to listen to two episodes, I gave up about a third of the way into each. Presenting old radio programs as podcasts is a fantastic idea. This was executed poorly.

benny727Love them! This show is wonderful. The template is basically a happily married couple - stubborn, hot-headed, corny, and witty Fibber and his very patient and equally witty wife - who entertain visitors to their home. The jokes are self-consciously corny - Fibber and Molly wink at us as they deliver the well written scripts that are chock full of middle american humor. This show has aged in a very good way. Rather than being less funny, it is now classically 1940's funny like the Howard Hawks movies are today. Jim and Marian Jordan (a real life married couple) did this show in a top notch way. Quality lasts and this show was quality.

FireballbradyFibber McGee and Molly Rock!I used to listen to this on cassette tape when I was a kid (after 8 tracks but before cd's for you kids) The banter between the charectors was fantastic. An excellent way to entertain yourself on a drive.
