We need more reminders like this!
I greatly appreciated listening to the PharmXcel podcast: Your Identity Beyond Pharmacy Matters by Dr. Katrina Azer. We, as pharmacists, get stuck in our traditional role and need reminders like this that it IS possible to use our PharmD in unique and exciting ways to promote the profession by addressing gaps in healthcare. It’s because of inspirational podcast content like this that I shifted my career trajectory to become a Mediterranean Health Coach, combining my 15 years of chronic disease management with my passion for my Greek culture and the delicious/nutritious Mediterranean food I was raised with.

    Pioneer for Pharmacy podcasts!
One of the original and best pharmacy podcasts out there. Todd and team do a great job of bringing on relevant guests that help the listener become more educated in all aspects of pharmacy! Would recommend to anyone in pharmacy, healthcare, or even the causal listener who just wants to learn. Awesome podcast!!

    Loved!
I listened to “How to Make More Money as a Pharmacist While Making a Real Impact” and loved hearing Dr. Jamie Wilkey’s story. She made it very relatable when she discussed feeling stuck in her traditional career path and not being able to stand-out from other candidates because of her resume. It was inspiring hearing her get through the struggle by creating her own consulting practice!

Pain Pod on the Pharmacy Podcast Network
Hello! I’m Mark Garofoli, host of the PAIN POD. I’m writing this review because I want folks to know how amazing the Pharmacy Podcast Network truly is. Todd, aka the Toddcastor, works tirelessly and is firmly devoted to our profession of pharmacy and to the success of every single podcast episode, let alone every host. Did I mention that he and his dynamic team make the entire experience fun, and tangibly more than worth any host or listener’s time? Well, that’s the truth. Look no further, listen no where else. Or as we say on the Pain Pod, come one, come all, to the Pain Pod, and the entire Pharmacy Podcast Network! ~Mark

    Thought provoking
When Todd contacted me about a podcast, he asked me one thing: “ make sure you know what you are talking about “. I know it sounds a bit offensive. No, you misunderstood. He wanted me to be prepared to defend my ideas. He wanted me to feel comfortable about shifting through the subjects. But mainly , he wanted his listeners to leave with something new.. a bit of an educating moment. I left with my mind completely blown and the experience was wonderful.

    PBM Reform Podcast Series
The Outcomes of Transparent PBMs vs. The Status Quo was a great listen! It was very informative to learn about how transparent PBMs differentiate from traditional PBMs. TrueScripts Founder and CEO Nathan Gabhart talks about how traditional PBMs use spread pricing to gain revenue. Transparent PBMs build lasting relationships and gain trust from their clients by giving them a detailed claim report with their invoices, with no hidden fees. Transparent PBMs also don’t have any conflict of interest by not owning their own specialty pharmacies. Transparent PBMs also manage the formulary to offer lowest priced drugs available to the members and clients. They also pass 100% of rebates back to the client. This was all very eye-opening and I encourage everyone to listen to this podcast!

    Outstanding!
Many thanks to the Pharmacy Podcast Network for the PBM Reform podcast series. Educating the masses about traditional PBM abuses is greatly needed. Transparent PBMs are bringing both reform and savings to employees across the country. Nathan Gabhart is one of the most humble and knowledgeable leaders in the transparent PBM space. Highly recommend listening to his March 10. 2021 podcast.

At the intersection of real change
Right now pharmacies are on the front lines of not only COVID but also are becoming hubs to serve community health concerns. They’ve become more than just a place to get your refills and shampoo. This podcast tells the stories behind the counter and the drivers that help us get better at better health.
  • Becky Parker Geist

I deeply appreciate this podcast that helps open up important conversations that uplift the marginalized voices and bring forward the isssues that most people may not even be aware of. Healing is so much broader than medicine and pharmaceuticals, and this podcast is a valuable contribution to the healing and well being of we the people. Being transparent about feelings that may require us to pause if we are to halt impulsive reactions and potential anger and without understanding, is a very helpful way to begin, opening the door for new and transforming discussions. Thanks for creating models for approaching difficult conversations.

PPN is Vital to My Joy and Impact
The diverse podcasts on the Pharmacy Podcast Network provide deep insights on pharmacy practice and our critical role in patient care. I enjoy making these episodes part of my week. The joy comes from hearing the amazing successes and how pharmacists are overcoming major challenges to have a positive impact on healthcare.

    Informative and engaging
Todd's podcast network is awesome for its in-depth interviews with pharmacists coping with changes in healthcare and how they're effecting change in their own pharmacies. Dr. Donald Hedden, for example, streamlines patient records through the Medsync program. Hugely informative and worthwhile listen for an oft ignored member of the healthcare team--the pharmacist. Highly recommended for everyone!

The Pharmacy Podcast Network keeps a pulse on the profession and relevant issues. With Todd's support, pharmacists, students and other interested folks discuss hot topics across a variety of clinical, regulatory, and business shows. It was a pleasure being a guest on the Pharmacy Podcast Network to speak about pharmacist roles with birth control and how we are moving the needle at Birth Control Pharmacist (https://birthcontrolpharmacist.com)! I appreciate the opportunity to connect with others on this platform and bring attention to this critical pharmacist service.

    great content. just audio issues
great content in the podcast. I also like that they tell you what the topic of the podcast is going to be to give you the opportunity to play later or skip it if the topic doesn’t fit with that you want from a podcast. i would enjoy this podcast even more if the audio was adjusted. several of the intros are very loud and then the audio for the podcast itself is very quiet and hard to hear without turning my volume way up only to be startled when the music comes back on or my next podcast. i mostly listen through headphones and over bluetooth in the car on my commute.

    Finally! A podcast for techs!
I have been enjoying the OnScript podcasts to hear more technician related information. They have been easy to listen to and I'm happy that this podcast helps to round out the topics covered by the pharmacy podcast network. Keep up the great work!

    Great Podcast for Pharmacy Students
I was featured on The Nontraditional Pharmacist podcast (episode 829). As a student, this is a great network to find like-minded people and learn about careers for pharmacists. TNP specifically helped me network with other pharmacists who have nontraditional roles and this is something I am very interested in pursuing myself. PPN is great for all avenues of pharmacy and no matter what you want to pursue, PPN has it covered!

    Must Listen!
This is a “must listen” podcast for all pharmacists plus anyone interested in pharmacy and healthcare. Such a great variety of topics and guests. Always informative and educational. I was lucky to have won and Apple Watch through a giveaway done by Pharmacy Podcast Network but equally lucky that I found this great podcast!
  • Ah1001
Generally good but listeners need to listen critically
Generally varied content and relevant information and interviews. However, some of the interviews lack depth, so the listener really needs to listen critically. For example, the episode about the prescription discount company GoodRx fails to mention that it takes its cut from the pharmacy where the prescription is purchased with their coupon. This is highly relevant information for listeners of this podcast. I would recommend the makers of this podcast to make the effort to get multiple points of view (ie including asking a pharmacy owner) when preparing for an interview. Or, hire a good researcher. Update question - could you please address the issue of DIR fees? They are slowly strangling independent pharmacies. Thanks

    Pharmacy Future Leaders
The Pharmacy Podcast Network has become a reference point for all things pharmacy including legislation, navigating new careers, student pharmacists, recent pharmacy developments, pharmacogenomics, independent pharmacy, entrepreneurship, and technology among others. It has over 70,000 listeners, including myself. I was fortunate to become a host on one of the Pharmacy Podcast Network's shows, Pharmacy Future Leaders. Pharmacy Future Leaders is a podcast for student pharmacists. This show has afforded me many opportunities. As a fourth year pharmacy student about to navigate new roads, this network will definitely be an asset with shows (that I am not affliated with) such as RxBuzz and Pharming Careers where the hosts produce content related to building resilience, developing oneself as a pharmacist, and opportunities for pharmacists that we don't normally hear about in school. Definitely, check out the Pharmacy Podcast Network! With over 20 different podcast segments, there is a show specifically designed for you! #PPN10th

A Great Tool for Pharmacy Professionals
I am a first year pharmacy student at UC San Diego and I found those podcasts to be extremely interesting and useful. I have listened to the community pharmacy and Patient Advocacy stations. I would strongly recommend this podcast to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy students. I think those podcasts would be useful for anyone who is interested in learning more about the pharmacy field. I am very glad that those podcasts are free and accessible as well.
