I listen to the show for information on shooting and instead have to hear how much this guy worships Donald Trump. If his knowledge of shooting is as flawed as his knowledge of the court system, I would do the opposite of whatever he says.

Bob, as you know there are pleanty of podcast out there to choose from. I linsten to yours, Tom Gersham's Gun Talk, Paul Merkel's Student of the gun, Michael Bane's Down Range Radio & Kenn Blanchard's Black Man with a gun. I think that says it all. Keep up the good work, watch your driving and I do pray and you are in my prayers. You are one tough guy.

I’ve been a listener from the start and can still say I have listened to every one of Bob’s podcasts. This is the only podcast program that I can say that about. Bob gives good advise. I don’t take all of his advise, but I sure do appreciate it. I have listened to every one of Bob’s podcasts. I like his regular guy approach to life. Thanks for all your podcasts Bob. Keep em coming. Love this podcast and appreciate the variety of topics Bob covers. Love to hear his opinions, he clearly identifies them as such, but then defends his stance and invites comments and counterpoints. I've learned a lot from this podcast over the years, I've been a consistent listener.

I grew up on a cattle ranch in a rural area and although I was no stranger to huntin rifles and shot guns I never messed with handguns much. Right before covid hit I decided to get my concealed permit and started getting more interested in pistols. Ended up being the worst time in history for that interest to peak lol but I found Mr. Bob’s podcast and just want to thank you as you’ve helped me a lot with your knowledge and information you’ve passed on to us. Love this podcast and look forward to listening to it every Monday.

Bob Maine does a really good job of giving thoughtful observations. They are almost always well supported by a good explanation of the logic used. I am not always in 100% agreement but always find that his remarks are thought provoking

Bob, I am a new gun owner and fairly new shooter. I am trying to learn as much as I can about firearms in general and handguns specifically. I have learned a great deal from your Podcasts and really enjoy the diversity of topics you present. Been listening for a few months now and try to shoot a couple times per month. Will take my 1st training course in next month or so. Appreciate your gun reviews and first gun purchase was a Glock 19 gen4. Excellent gun. Keep up the great work and I will continue listening.

I have been listening to Bob since the summer of 2010. He has said that his early shows were not that good, but I beg to differ. The show started in 2009. On the way to visit family in 2010, I decided to try his podcast on the road. My wife listened to a couple and I expected her to ask me to listen to it another time. She actually enjoyed the show, surprisingly, as she does not like that sort of thing. She would let me listen to a couple and then to some music, back and forth. By the time I was back from vacation, I was all caught up on past episodes and have been a faithful listener ever since. Bob blends common sense with his own and listeners' opinions. It is well worth your time to drop in and listen. Scott Chapin I’m still here and it’s still great!

I’ve been listening to podcast for years now but for some reason I never thought to look for podcasts about firearms till about a month ago. Then I came across this one. This is one of my favorites along with the carry trainer podcast. I’ve listened to about 10 episodes so far and can’t wait to catch up on all the ones I missed. Great advise great reviews and great conversation.

In the positive, Bob has convinced me to go for my CCW license and carry often. There are sometimes very useful segments, like when Bob interviews someone (usually), reviews a gun, or talks about some specific issue. Most of the time though, it is him rambling about the latest class he taught, and it essentially becomes an extended ad for his classes. I’d be happy to take one of the classes if he comes up near me, but otherwise the entire episode is largely useless. And even when the episode description is about a topic I’m interested in (can you be trusted to CC, etc), it always just comes back to a simplistic “get training” repeated ad nauseum. I was sort of hoping for something more specific, of course training is awesome, but I don’t need to be told it over and over in rambling vagueness. Get more specific and I’d give this a higher rating.

Most episodes where Bob has an interview are excellent sources of information. The episodes where he is in the "Handgun World Mobile Studio" are boring, rambling and preachy. It seems he is more interested in putting out a show on a schedule, instead of putting out a show when he actually has useful content. His mobile shows are a way for him to pass the time on his sales calls.

I've listened to Handgun World podcast several years and find him to be very practical, offering great guidance combined with wise judgement. His experience and shared knowledge is valuable, but I also appreciate his sincere and accurate moral and political views. He manages to put sensitive topics in perspective. This approach to handguns and concealed carry is delivered routinely with expertise combined with humor.

When I first discovered this podcast, I really enjoyed it with all the fresh and positive discussion and relevant information. Now, Bob has unfortunately become very self-righteous and has lost his humility that had once been a keystone for this show. Stay humble friends.

So much information shared through people from law enforcement and military to some of today's biggest and best companies that help us depend ourselves and our freedoms. Thanks Bob

Bob brings a great attitude and the grace of God to interwebs for us to learn from. He teaches about the right of self protection and how to go about it on a daily basis. He also is not afraid to let you know that he believes in the higher Being and the role of God in his life. Give him a chance and he will grow on you. If you are looking for profanity or lewd talk just pass it on by because Bob does not condone it. Way to go Bob and thank you for what you have brought to me and my family.

It is as Bob says in his podcast, "practical information from a practical guy." If you have a chance take a course with Bob, you will be happy that you did. The training you get from Bob, is something that will be useable for those of us who are just facing everyday life, not just for those training for the battlefield.

I've listened to Bob for the last few years and had the fortune to train with him. He is absolutely legit. His podcast and training are well worth your time.

I appreciate Bob putting himself out there by doing a podcast. However, this podcast is a boring, and very wordy monolog by a guy who is doing this to pass the time while driving. Out of fairness, I should point out that I only listened to 3 podcasts. All of them could have provided the important content in about 15 minutes. However, this guy rambles on, and on, and on. I’m sure the guy is knowledgeable, and maybe I’m more knowledgeable than I thought, but in the 3 podcasts, I did not gain any new information and I was so bored by the endless rambling that on the 3 podcast I stopped it halfway through and unsubscribed.

Bob does a great job producing one of the best handgun podcast out there. An ordinary guy doing an exceptional job. Bob delivers the information everyone who either carries or is interested in carrying a personal defense handgun needs.

The "Carlos" story was intersting and of use to many of us. But no you tease to get the rest of the story we have to go to your pay site? I vote with my unsubscribe button. There are plenty other podcasts out there.
