Clear Intelligent Running Advice for Every Level of Runners
Several years ago, I started following this podcast because each episode focuses on a specific useful running related topic. Coach Voiles gives practical advice that helped me understand how I could continue to enjoy the physical and mental benefits of running while avoiding injury as I age. I love and appreciate this podcast because it educates and motivates me to keep enjoying my outdoor runs despite set-backs due to illness and age. I'm now 71, and continue to refer back to previous episodes for advice & motivation to keep moving. So glad to hear this new episode! Thanks Coach!

    My own coach
I love this podcast. First review I have ever left. I used to run cross country and track and ran for a long time after. Been on and off for so so long. But this podcast and listening to Debbie is like having the coach I always dreamed of. Debbie thank you for this invaluable resource. You are inspiring.

    Best running advice
I just started running on my own last year and came across this Podcast. It has provided a wealth of information and motivation. As mentioned in the episodes, I searched and found the Human Race documentary. It’s both a pleasure to watch and inspirational to know age doesn’t have to define what activity gives you pleasure. As long as the body allows it age should not stop you from enjoying what gives you pleasure. I plan on running as long as I am able. I hope these episodes continue. Thank you Debbie from Debbie 😊

    Encouraging
I just discovered this podcast a couple weeks ago! I’ve been a wannabe runner, (more realistically, a walk, jog, shuffler) for several years. Deb is teaching me the basics I’ve been lacking. I’m hoping this work will eventually turn me into a real runner at age 60. Great info! I love the upbeat joy for running that I hear in this voice.

    Wonderful podcast for runners
I just discovered this podcast and it is great. Lots of good topics and I like her easy, but informative way of talking to us. And like all great coaches, she is always encouraging us to improve the way we run and enjoy every moment out there on the road/trail.

Content good enough to convert a former anti-podcast person
Every topic so far has been super insightful and also very relatable for me, personally, and I imagine for most runners. Looking forward to continuing to learn more through these. As someone who has never had a coach, the content is especially helpful, especially after running without much guidance for 14 years.

    Wonderful coaching on the go
I found this fantastic podcast while looking for solid information on running for a middle of the pack older runner. I got inspired just hearing how the coach qualified for Boston at an age most folks are slowing down fast. The broad knowledge she has of the sport and the encouraging way she speaks is just what I needed. If I lived in the area she coaches in, I’d look into joining one if there running groups.

This podcast has been a life changer for me and a game changer for my running! I’ve learned so much from Debbie and have had the pleasure of meeting and talking with her in person. I’m officially a Debbie “fan girl” haha and she is on a first name basis at my house. Her podcasts are not only informative with technical information, but also realistic with her personal experiences that she shares to tie it all together. There is something to learn and some laughs to be had when you tune in to this show. Thank you for all that you do and for your positive and welcoming attitude for runners all over the world.

    Practical, honest, and smart
Mojo for Running has become my favorite place to go for simple to understand, practical advice. I used to be a regular listener of Runners World podcasts right up to the time that David Willey left and the content became unbearable and unhelpful. When I realized I needed to find something new I searched iTunes and found 4 or 5 other podcasts, and tried them all. This one is the most impressive for several reasons. First and most importantly, the info Deb offers here is useful for the everyday runner. I am an "older" runner, having only joined this sport 3 years ago. Every single episode has information that I can put in to practice right away. Deb helps me undestand the WHY about things I am working through and she also helps me keep things in perspective. I SO much appreciate how Deb conveys where the importance of running should be in everyday life - and that family and other commitments are more important than this sport. She helps me love both the sport and the process of becoming a runner, while also making sure that other areas of my life don't suffer because I indulge in this. Another thing I really like is how Deb sticks to the topic. There is no rambling, no veering from what has been the named topic for each episode. I LOVE how I can find an episode on hydration, for example, and everything I need to know is contained in that episode. I listen to many of them a few times. One other thing that I really appreciate is how Deb is not caught up in fads. She doesn't encourage us to go out and by the latest gadget, or newest style shoe, or any like that. She will often tell how certain topics are viewed and used by some runners but she always encourages us to use our own uniqueness to determine what we need, after she gives all the facts to consider. Deb is also very consistent. From episode to episode you don't hear Debbie contradict herself - when she gives advice to consider, it's the same advice offered in the same practical way, no matter what episode she might be in. Thank you Debbie, for taking the time and energy to share your experience and wisdom with us. I know these podcasts take a lot of work to produce and manage, so I am very grateful that you continue to share with us all your knowlege about this wonderful sport of running. I know I am smarter because of what you took the time to share. It is information like this that will help me run until I am 100, and be healthy because of it.
