Gozar the destroyer 11224Narration is emotionless yet annoyingI like the content, the deadpan narration is difficult to listen to.

henry1966This podcast has made me love software development again!I was searching for a software development podcast over the summer, but as someone who kind of has impostor syndrome with regard to the field, I felt like anything I’d find would be intimidating at best and impossible to follow at worst with all kinds of jargon and tech stack talk I’ve never touched. I found the Changelog and it’s really been amazing. It’s made me realize I actually do love hearing and learning about this stuff again. Changelog News is a surefire way to keep on top of an industry that is impossible to do otherwise. And the interviews are just great. Easy to follow conversation, some humor that is welcomed but not chock full of inside jokes. The only thing that is nerve wracking for me is how in the world I am going to tackle the back catalog of episodes! As someone who kind of dabbles in this audio world stuff, Jerod and Adam are tremendous hosts. I highly, highly recommend this podcast!

matthayes91Consistently Great ContentChange log News on Monday is quick and timely. Changelog Interviews on Wednesday and Changelog & Friends on Friday are insightful, nuanced, and well done. Keep up the great work!

cl7070Long time listener, great variety and timelinessI’ve been listening for a couple of years now. The short summaries of weekly finds gives me just enough context to inform me whether I would want to deep dive and find out more. I have a growing collection of to-read-later thanks to this. The soundbites and humor keep the listening fun too. The above comments are about the short length weekly news podcast, but the other podcasts in the stable have similar high production and entertainment value as well and are worth checking out

SMSaudioLoverBest technical-leaning programming newsI discovered Changelog last year through the episodes covering the RHEL licensing changes (thanks Red Hat) and it quickly became my favorite tech podcast

weirdionMy go-to on whats happening in dev spaceBeen listening to the host, Jerod and Adam, covering news and interviews with people across the industry for a month now. Highly recommend for staying up to date with the highlights of the week, getting some in-depth insight, and some laughs along the way. Keep it up folks!

emojigirl112007Amazing showsI’m a regular listener and the various Changelog shows are my favorite tech focused podcasts!
-
BBish937Used to be fantastic!Idk what happened to this show it used to be consistent episodes, they used to be relevant, on point, to tech stack deep dives, new technologies, etc. Now it’s a random schedule with the relevant stuff dwindled down into an 8 min news update and some boring interviews like once a month… Update: Seems like this past month they’ve course corrected a bit toward what made this podcast great. Hope it continues!
-
VinLuvReal tech news for developersThis podcast is a one stop shop for very relevant updates in the tech ecosystem. It lives up to it’s name by being a changelog on the industry itself. Great show!
-
zhendong.LawesomeInformative with a nice structure! and it’s perfect to listen in the shower :p

Al JohriMonday News Should be a separate podcastI really hate the long jarring randomly audio interjections in the monday changelog news episodes. They are barely related to the content, feel very strained, and consistently make me turn off this podcast.
-
thatengineeringguy14Great content for developers! The Changelog team does a great job presenting a broad set of topics for developers and software engineers. Episodes are full of actionable insights that you can apply immediately!

marcosvmOne of the greatest podcast for developers.I am a listener for many years now, and The Changelog is one of the best podcasts for a developer, period. I covers a multitude of subjects and what’s more important to me is that the hosts won’t get in the way of the guests, letting they express their opinion while making the hard questions. Another high point is the subjects covered are up to date on the latest technologies, specially from the Open Source community and the programming languages we love so much. Thank you Adam and Jerod for the great work.

obacker19Entertaining, insightful and actionable! 🔥Whether you’re well established as someone who can translate creative energy into the impact you want to have on the world, or just getting started as a catalyst for change in the software development space - this is a must-listen podcast for you! Adam and Jerod do an incredible job leading conversations that cover a huge breadth of topics related to the ins and outs of navigating the shifting landscape of software, open source and tech culture - from leaders who’ve actually walked the path. Highly recommend listening and subscribing!

Nikola KantarGreat Look Into Open SourceThe Changelog is so very dear to my heart largely due to its variety. While at times in the past it felt a bit Ruby heavy, it's had its share of guests representing a variety of projects. This many years into it, it's also really fascinating to listen to return guests. I listen to all episodes, even if I'm not particularly interested in the featured project/guest.
-
Ghengis77So interesting! The best guests of any technology podcast I’ve found.
-
antonygarciagreat but has gotten too longThis is a great show about a wide variety of topics in the open source scene. The production quality is top notch and the interviews are really good. Unfortunately, the shows (which I remember being an hour long back when I first started listening) have gotten too long. I guess it’s just my opinion, but I believe the perfect length for a podcast is 45 min to 1 hour, and these have been going 1:30 or more over the past few months. The reason for this is that they have talked more about the background and ‘origin stories’ of their guests an while that’s interesting, I’d gladly sacrifice it for shows that were shorter and more on topic.
-
jerodsantoI love hosting this show! There is always at least one person on this show that I agree with. Five stars.
-
Ben GillinI learn something new each and every podcastI am more of a designer than a coder and I love listening to The Changelog because I learn something from each podcast. Great work guys!

BraavosAssassinGreat For CommutingI listen to this on my long drive home. They cover a great range of topics. Many that I would never thought I'd be interested in. The hosts keep it lively and I end up learning so much. Highly recommended.

jeremyoatmealChangelog is...Quickly becoming my favorite podcast.
-
BrainvatGreat interviewsListening to the backlog of great interviews, well worth the investment--so much useful content here.
-
briangonzalezBalance of depth and flow.My biggest gripe with some podcasts is they're either (a) too in depth for audio or (b) their simply background news where the hosts flirt and say "that's what she said" and make jokes that make no sense to outsiders, etc. Don't get me wrong, I love a good "that's what she said." The Changelog is the perfect balance. You'll get great little chunks of goodness while listening to The Changelog. Everyone should also check out Adam's The Founder's Talk as well as The Web 2.0 Show.
-
rundeksThe Change Log is the Open Source Podcast! This podcast is one of the best podcasts I subscribe too. Their episodes do not focus on just one technology, but cover all of the open source world. They address the current trends and hot topics in the Programming Community. SImply put this is a must subscribe to. Keep up the amazing work!

ChumpalumpOpen source for Web geeksExcellent interviews and commentary on the open source projects which make the Web hum. I'd love more python and less ruby, but the two communities are constantly stealing ideas from each other, so, whatever works. :)
-
yeoldefortranGreat podcast on cool new projects!Easily one of the best podcasts on cool open-source projects. Coverage is always enough to get you going and help you make decisions on what projects to investigate, but never gets bogged down in a level of detail unsuitable to radio/podcast. In the long term, I wouldn't mind more focus on non-web projects, but there are hopefully many episodes left to cover other projects. RIYL: make all, hacker news, proggit

-
WJGilmoreFantasticI came across Changelog via GitHub the other day, and thought I'd give it a try. If the Riak episode is any indication of things to come, this is easily one of the best technology-oriented podcasts available on iTunes. Keep up the great work!
-
