    Great discovery!
I recently found this and was compelled to share. Keeping your marriage front and center is one of the most important things to do. This podcast is a great resource for helping you do that!

    Thanks for being here!
You bring the raw and the real and I’m so grateful to have y’all as marriage mentors. I wouldn’t be here in my relationship today without your wisdom and guidance.
  • Hope for Marriage
    A great help to Marirage
Tony and Alisa do a great job of allowing the reality of marriage to take what would have felt hopeless to a place of hope!

This practically saved my relationship- thank you!
Stumbled upon this podcast when my relationship got turbulent. I never realized how much room we had to grow with all 6 Pillars of Intimacy! But Tony and Alisa are a wealth of knowledge and make tough topics fun- or at least easy- to talk about. I wouldn’t have the loving, supporting, wonderful relationship with my gorgeous woman without them. Highly highly recommend you take a listen :)

    This Framework Works
This podcast clarified my mind and transformed my marriage. There is no one thing that makes an extraordinary marriage. There are many different facets that blend into something extraordinary. The extensive collection of episodes provide the real life examples of building all the pillars of intimacy and provide a lot of samples of the fallout from crumbling intimacy. Before OEM, I had my intimacy priorities, she had hers, but we never found room to work on both together until we had the Six Pillars from OEM. This podcast normalizes the conversations that could make our marriage work. Then it showed us how to have the conversations ourselves. Now we have the One Extraordinary Marriage we were seeking for 37 years. I wish we had this advice when we were young!

    Love this Podcast!
So glad to have found this podcast! Tony & Alissa are so real and relatable. They share the topics that we all think about, but don’t know how to tackle. It gives couples a non-threatening way to open up their own crucial conversations within their own marriage. From the many books they’ve written, to this weekly podcast, Tony & Alissa are truly experts in what makes marriage work.

    Business vs. Ministry
I have found a lot of good content from this podcast over the years and it’s been very helpful. Just understand the podcast as it stands today is a means to an end….this is their business and not strictly a ministry. The self-promotion of their products and services has escalated substantially over the years making it harder to discern what is truly “real” content vs overt or covert ads. That said it’s not a deal breaker… I just wish they’d tone it down a few notches on the self promotion. I find myself having to hit fast forward a lot.

    Marriage help that matters
I have had the privilege of knowing Tony and Alisa for over 10 years. They are a super genuine and experienced couple with a passion for helping create extraordinary marriages. Highly recommend this show for any couple who’s looking to take their relationship to the next level.

    Out of touch religious hacks
Just a couple of religious puritans trying to impose their morals on everybody else. And their advice is not based on evidence or science. Bye!
  • noah_hancock
Super helpful and interesting for an engaged couple
Thankful for this show but I do wish they would chill a bit on advertising their book. It’s only certain episodes but some of them they advertise more than try and help people. I get you have to eat but I think loving people will handle that.

    Just Delightful
Great advice, practical tips, and they give off such a great positive energy that I can see why people find so much hope after listening. Love this podcast.

They don’t practice what they preach
So disappointed in Tony and Alisa. They are not supportive. I really enjoyed their podcasts but most enjoyed their FB group. The community is the most supportive out of all marriage support groups. But Tony and Alisa monitored, censored, and filtered every one of my posts reaching out asking for support because I “said the same thing looking for recommendations.” Practice what your preach and help your “family” get through their difficult situations. Clearly they’re only in it for the profit - buy their book or get marriage coaching. 🙄

You WON'T Regret this! They saved our marriage!
Years ago my husband and I felt hopeless. We felt as if there was nothing we could do to save our marriage. We looked like we had it all together but in reality we were hurting. We were constantly arguing because it seemed as if we were both speaking a foreign language in our relationship. We just couldn't get on the same page! After 20 years of being with each other there were a lot of resentments built up. We didn't know how to overcome them. We needed help. God answered our prayers! He sent us to Tony and Alisa DiLorenzo's podcast and website. We started listening to their podcast and after just ONE episode we signed up for coaching with Alisa! Between God, Alisa and our willingness to work together, we changed the direction of our marriage. We let go of past resentments, we are have learned how to communicate better and LOVE each other. It hasn't been easy, there have been a lot of difficult things to work through and I know there is a lot more work ahead of us. We will never be perfect but that's not our expectation! Our expectation is to love each other, communicate effectively and be on the same team, and I am happy to report that we have met and exceeded that expectation with the help of God, Tony and Alisa. If just ONE of you reading this benefits from this info, than it's been totally worth my public display of affection! If you do ONE thing today for your spouse, for your marriage, for YOU! Go listen to the ONE Extraordinary Marriage podcast, visit their site, learn about them! You will NEVER regret making your marriage better! SO blessed and thankful for you Tony and Alisa! Thanks for putting yourselves out there weekly, you are truly a tool for God. Love you!

    Ew
Tried but couldn’t get myself to finish even one show. Super phony. And I don’t think that you should have a show title that includes the word “extraordinary” if you can’t even pronounce the word. Also, how embarrassing for your kids…

    Game changer!
This podcast saved my marriage. Saved my life. It not only put my marriage on track, it put me as an individual on track. Listening to this as a couple does wonders, but even just listening to this individually creates huge change within a relationship. The idea of ‘what can I do?’ as opposed to ‘how can I fix my spouse’ has drastically changed my mindset and in return made my marriage wonderful. Tony and Alisa have created a simple and doable framework for you to follow that really does create lasting results. I started first by listening to the first episode, then cherry picking what episodes sparked my interest. I usually listen to the podcast and discuss it with my husband when we have time together or over the phone on his lunch break. I listen to them close to everyday now and my marriage hasn’t been this good in 14 years! Highly recommend this. Divorce would be so much lower if everyone did!

    Episode 728
Wow, this episode really hit home and triggered me to think about how our dog has positive but also negatively affected our marriage. Thank you!

    I don’t really get it…
Seems like this podcast has a solid following, but I personally found it very preachy and, at times, kind of judgy. The “flirting” episode kind of felt like one long rant.

    Best Podcast Ever!!!
So many wonderful tips and great, sound, practical advice. Whether you are newly married or “well seasoned” married you will learn so much! Thank you for speaking your truth and bringing us along for the ride!!! I find it is liking listening to great friends having a fascinating conversation…you just want to keep listening! Thank you so much!

I kept trying, hoping to like the podcast…
Comes across as sex advice for experts from experts. It’s just not relatable if you actually need help. How can a wife encourage a husband to keep doing the good stuff, if there isn’t good stuff? I know that seems harsh, but some people literally never get any pleasure(I’m speaking specifically about the oral sex technique episode) & they just need to be able to tell their spouse to please look into new techniques.

    No taboo topics
There is nothing too awkward or uncomfortable for Tony and Alisa to discuss. They have great advice and ideas to improve any marriage.

    outstanding show
I don’t care if you have been married 5 years or 20 years, this show is amazing. I wish I found it years ago. Younger couples, don’t pass this up, get your marriage started right. Couples who have been married a long time, this can help you take it next level. I love this show. Can’t wait to read the book that is on its way

    Authenticity
This podcast is incredibly helpful for all couples who want to have an amazing marriage. For newlyweds to those who have been married for years-it has so much to offer. The vulnerability Tony and Alisa are willing to share is truly genuine. I have shared this podcast with my adult married children and with my nieces and nephews and many others who want to have an extraordinary marriage!

    Great real and raw stuff
So worth the time. Breaks down barriers when you are both listening to Podcast. Don’t have to listen together but rather taking points and makes it easy to Talk outside the bedroom - scheduling sex is fun and adds to anticipation and verbal foreplay thru out they day I would like for Tony to talk more and hear the husband/ male perspective Feels that Tony plays/ responds off Elisa most of the time.

    Scary
Scary to hear you didn’t go get checked out by a medical doctor after such scary symptoms. I wouldn’t have said that over the podcast. 😬

    The Words you Speak
I feel like I’m in constant debate with my mind, my thoughts, my words. Instead of being my greatest advocate I feel like I’m my constant critic. And unfortunately because this is my thought process it spills over to my spouse and my children. Out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. I just stumbled across your podcast and I’m not even sure why I chose this episode. God works in mysterious ways. I’m struggling if to send this to my son who seems to have a lot of these/my tendencies. I wish in my 20s and 30s I had podcasts to listen to, or pearls of wisdom from someone else. But I never want to over step my boundaries. Any thoughts?
  • Ed-i-fire
    Thank you
My wife and I had the pleasure of speaking to Tony and Alisa and found them to be as authentic and transparent as they are on their Podcast. We are thankful to have them as a resource to add even more value and guidance to our marriage.

    Very helpful
I have been through many relationships and feel as though I have found the one. He is recently divorced with three boys. I have one boy and have never been married. We kinda had a complicated start coming out of toxic relationships and being friends. I want to make sure we go about everything in the best way possible.I discovered your podcast as I was seeking helpful tools to help us in our quest for an amazing relationship. With your podcast I realized the things we are doing right and the things we will try to ensure when we do get married we are on right track. Thanks again for everything! So very helpful!

    I love this podcast!
I am still a newlywed and this podcast has incredible advice for people in every stage of their marriage! I love the different perspectives Elissa (not sure if I spelled her name right) and Tony both bring to every episode of this podcast.

Refreshing and honest, something for everyone
I recently stumbled upon this podcast and love it. I binge listen to it because there is something in every episode you can take away. I am 2 yrs in to marriage and learning how to communicate and ask for what I need has been a major learning curve for me. Those episodes have majorly helped me reframe my thoughts around the importance of communication. I have been slowly going through each episode and every single one has given me food for thought and has caused self reflection on my marriage and what I can be doing to be a better wife to my husband. They are real, honest, and talk about everything that people typically hold back about in a marriage. They talk about the great stuff, hard stuff, and the not great things. I also like that there is a subtle religious undertone, but not so much that it would “turn off” anyone who wasn’t religious.

    Good but...
My husband and I have been listening and the content is there but they spend a lot of time being impressed with themselves- if they could cut out all the patting themselves on the back and get to content it would be much better

My review just deleted just as I finished....Ug,do over!
I found One and Tony and Alisa about a month ago. I work from home, with an Etsy shop, and have them playing in the background for 6-7 hours a day. I have listened to many newer episodes but decided to go back ten years to episode one! I’m on about episode 35 and have listened to about 25 newer episodes. I love that the DiLorenzos share from such an open place of authenticity and reality. They talk about EVERYTHING!! You will know you’re not alone in whatever crazy Issues you may be having. From oral sex to conflict, sex challenges, kissing games, and family dynamics. We have been married for 31 years and I learn something new every single episode. My husband still hasn’t knowingly listened but I have faith that he will. I say knowingly because I was listening to one the other night and I turned it off a few minutes after he came in...thinking he wouldn’t want to hear it. He said, “ I was listening to that “ ok... yay!! I also grew up in Poway and RB so I love that they’re from home and feel another connection when I know where they are and can picture where they are. I feel like I have new friends. Thank you Tony and Alisa, I love what you’re doing. You are changing lives and marriages. Keep Going!

The DiAngelos Are As Real as It Gets!
Tony and Alisa are as real as it gets! So often, Christian marriages are put into this nice, tidy little box and no one discusses the real issues that plague our marriages. I have been listening to the One Extraordinary Marriage show for quite some time, and I always leave with great conversation points to discuss with my husband, and tangible tips to put into practice. I am so grateful to have had the chance to interview Tony and Alisa on my own podcast, and they were just as real my listeners! I keep coming back to them from more and more. Keep up the great work you guys! You are making a real difference in the lives of countless marriages!

We’ve tried everything but still have many fights and struggles. Our wedding is right around the corner with the pressure getting to us quickly. Listening to Tony and Alissa talk abut their struggles we have applied what they have learned to heal our relationship so we have a good start to our marriage. This couple is a life and relationship saver!

    Renewed!
My wife and I just passed our 20 year anniversary in June! Married at 19 and 20 respectively we had no clue what marriage looked like . We were in a 19 year nose dive and didn’t see the crash coming . Thanks to the one family and many other resources we have renewed our marriage and are spreading the word to other couples struggling . Intention is daily not , complacency has no room in marriage . Thank you Alisa and Tony , my beautiful bride and I are forever grateful !

    Listen to their show!
I love the podcast. I feel that working on marriage is not often discussed in today’s society. It’s not in movies and it’s definitely not considered sexy by society. But this is real life and real advise for having a happy marriage. I’ve learned so much and I’m happy I started listening to the podcast less than one year into our marriage.
  • greenlighter_70
    Really good, but not extraordinary
I have been taking in (and finally reviewing) some relationship podcasts lately, and was drawn to this one because of how popular it is. And I can see why it's so popular... the hosts have great rapport and insights, and aren't afraid to take on some of the uncomfortable topics related to marriage (especially sex). I do wish it was more inclusive though, and more evidence-based. Still, definitely worth listening to!
  • yoderulrich
    Good practical advice
I absolutely love how practical these guys are! Just found your podcast last week I think and have listened to so many episodes alone and even 1 or 2 with my hubby! Thank you thank you for taking the time to share honestly about marriage!!!

    Awesome
I’m not married, or even engaged for that matter! But one of my goals for 2020 was to deepen and foster my relationship with my boyfriend. While working from home has become tedious I decided instead of listening to music all day everyday, I should start listening to podcasts. I was looking hard to find ones about building strong romantic relationships and stumbled upon this marriage podcast. Let’s just say after listening to over 20 in just a few day’s I felt called to leave a review. I feel equipped to handle issues in my current life as well as issues I know are bound to come up when I do wed. Thank you for putting your lives out there and bringing up such important issues that not many people are willing to discuss.
  • Beverli W.
    Slow down
I love the topics as well as the content. The problem is that they both speak too quickly. It would be a way better show if they slow down. Thanks

    Great
This podcast was recommended to me by a friend with whom I had confided that I was having marital struggles. I’m so glad she told me about it! After each episode, I have new resolve to make a positive change. I love that the hosts don’t beat around the bush- they say things just the way they are. Listening helps me feel like I’m not alone when I struggle, and that I can have the marriage of my dreams. Thank you!

    Cheezy method of recognizing sponsors.
I would give the podcast 4 stars but their method of recognizing their sponsors is so cheezy. In the past they would weave the product in the podcast. For example the podcast would be discussing making memorable moments and memories and what better way to save the memory than by purchasing a picture canvas or subscribing to a company that makes a book out of your story. Lisa would go on and on about the product and then jump back into the podcast mateerial. They’ve upgraded their editing so the advertisement is seemlessly added to the podcast. One minute you’re listening about dating your spouse. The next minute you’re listening about Thrive Causemetics! They changed lanes and didn’t signal! I listen to another podcast that is 2 hours long. The sponsors are recognized at the beginning and the end of the podcast. No cheezy ads during the podcast. I listen to another podcast that is 40 minutes. There is a break for the ads, but the podcaster states something like, “We’re going to take a short break and recognize our sponsors.” They go to the ad and come back to the podcast. On principle I don’t purchase any of the featured products.

    Solid marriage podcast
There are too many podcasts that are just not good around marriage. This one gives sound advice without compromising God’s word. I’ve been listening for almost 18 months now & I look forward to every episode to help me improve my marriage & myself as a wife. Thank you for being real & giving great advice in a world that is extremely messed up on what a marriage should look like.

    Still giving it a try
Not impressed. I suppose I’m younger and just can’t relate, we’re in our 20s and don’t have children.. I’ve been with my FH for 10 years and we’re getting married this summer. We’re not very religious, but open to religion and spiritual. I went seeking a podcast to prepare us for marriage life and build a strong foundation, which I believe we have but as we all know marriage is work.. I’ll keep listening because I want to like this podcast, but at the moment I just can’t relate, I’ll keep listening and hope to like this in the future..
