Dean & Joe consistently deliver insightful and actionable nuggets that you can leverage. I highly recommend hopping into their recent episode with Draye Redfern that covers how to build hyper personalized outreach at scale. Kill your cold email approaches written by Apollo or ChatGPT and level up.

If you haven’t listened to Joe Polish you’ve truly done yourself a disservice.
Joe and Deans Podcast “I Love Marketing” is super dope, and I’ve listened to three of Joe’s books twice. The first one I listen to was “What’s in it for them” to boil it down it explains how not to be selfish in sales which is and always has been the way to win. The second book which came out before “What’s in it for them” is called “Piranha Marketing”. The third book is “Miracle Morning” a book on recovery and a must read. Many of you know recovery is a big part of my life. My buddy Caleb Feyereisen has been sending me a text each morning saying “Miracle Morning” and I just realized whyđŸ€ŠđŸŒ The information in these books and this podcast is beyond ridiculously valuable. I will be joining Joe’s genius network.

This is the most valuable podcast on marketing
Joe and Dean provide the inside track on fundamental marketing techniques that they use themselves to grow their businesses. They explain things in a simple and practical way and provide free downloads to follow along. Well worth the cost (FREE). If this podcast was all you had and you could never buy a course or hire a marketer, you’d be successful. Tip- Go to the Beginning! Episode 1, start there. People always want what’s New! What’s the latest thing. That’s great and all, sometimes useful and go ahead and check the new ones out. But with fundamentals, just listen to Joe and Dean’s first 50 episodes of ILM and you’re on your way.

    Transformational conversations! đŸ”„
This show is like having a fire-side chat with two of the most prominent thinkers and doers in the world of marketing. Dean and Joe bring on incredible guests that not only reveal what it's taken for them to evolve their marketing into an effective machine for driving business growth, customer transformation and personal fulfilment - they also dive into the mindset, heartset and actual challenges that come with this journey. Can't recommend ILM enough!!

    Refreshing, entertaining and informative
I listen to a lot of podcasts - mainly on the topic of business and marketing - and this is by far one of my favorites for a number of reasons but probably the one that stands out the most is how informative the episodes are while feeling so incredibly relatable. That’s unique since many others feel very clinical and almost like a lecture. Dean and Joe are awesome hosts and always manage to bring guests that bring amazing energy and knowledge to the show. Highly recommend!

    $25k Seminar Advertisement Podcast
These guys chose to make this podcast, and provide lots of free, high-quality content to people who crave marketing knowledge. But as the old saying goes, there is no such thing as a free lunch. You will pay for the marketing knowledge, by listening to the hosts repeatedly do the following: 1.) Talk about fishing trips and vacations with famous people. 2.) Exchange small talk 3.) Plug "the genius network" repeatedly. And I mean repeatedly. If you don't believe me, listen to the episode "The Apathy Obstacle." You might think "Oh, this episode is about reaching apathetic target demographics??" No. It is over 1 hour of 2 men saying the words "Genius network" repeatedly toward one another, on a phone call. Is the juice worth the squeeze? Yes. Pick the episodes wisely, and you will be better for listening to this podcast. Pick the wrong episode, and you will end up listening to two men, on a phone call, saying "The genius network...." "And the thing about the Genius Network, Jim, is that.... It's the Genius Network. You really don't get how important the Genius Network is unless you're a part of the Genius Network. Am I right Jim? Joe? Genius Network Joe?" "What we're trying to do, Joe, is we want to eliminate people from teh Genius Network and only have worthy candidates for the Genius Network. Right Joe? I like that, Joe. I really do, Dean. I like that a lot. I like the Genius Network because the thing about the Genius Network is that I like the Genius Network." In conclusion: Some great episodes on this show. Thank you for making the podcast, you truly did not have to create it. And it helps some people succeed. So ultimately it's a plus. But MAN.... those self plugs...

    Absolutely top-notch marketing insight
I stumbled into this podcast when I was searching for interviews with the all-time marketing greats. Time and time again this show popped up in my searches. And time and time again, I've loved the episodes! I've been listening to this each night as their voices lull me into slumber. Dean's voice is so fun to listen to and the playful way they rag on each other cracks me up. Sometimes it's hard for me to get to sleep because I'm so excited by the possibilities embedded in the valuable marketing insights they're sharing. They bring the thunder without the sleaze. This is my latest favorite podcast!

You don't know what you don't know
Before becoming an I Love Marketing and Joe Polish/Dean Jackson fan, I had the belief that marketing and selling was sleazy. Now I Love Marketing! I have learned and applied so many great concepts which have literally changed my life and my businesses!

Thank you for having such insightful, humorous, and intelligent guests like JP Sears on ! I greatly appreciate how he uses humor to make a statement. Humor has it's own language and with it brings acceptance. I say yes to using more humor in marketing to get across our powerful messages that might be ignored. InterviewvaletCF

    I Love -- I Love Marketing!
Great podcast with awesome content. Only concern I have is that they do repurpose content at times and some of is better suitable for video than audio. Both Joe and Dean deliver absolute Gold in almost every episode. There is no way you will not gain a 4 year college degree in marketing if you listened to every episode. Subscribe and rate so they keep delivering GOLD

Is your child ready for camp?
Currently I am closing a business that I couldn't make work, and opening a new one. The first business is a kids gymnastics school. Classes parties and camps is our basic offering. We have always attracted mostly younger kids 18 months - about 6 years old. For years I thought we need to get the older kids engaged and then we would have a better business. But Now I realie that I should specialize in the younger kids. I have been listening to Joe and Dean for about a month now, and I love this podcast. I realized that the have moved passed the brass tacks of "How To do the step by step.' So this week I went back to Episode 1 and have been working my way forward. Honestly, I don't think that I have a clue yet, but I have gotten a few great results. Yeaster I sent out an email with the Headline, "Is your child ready for camp?" And we had 14 kids sign-up that day. Thank you Joe and Dean. Kevin

    I don’t love marketing
Let me be blunt - I don’t love marketing. I love the work I do as a solo entrepreneur, I love the outcome, the clients I meet and enrich their lives, I love how my life has been transformed by doing my work. What I don’t love is having to go out there and advertise myself, ask for the sale, and self promote. I would much rather sit back and allow customer just come to me ‘cause I’m all that. Unfortunately, that is not how the world works. This podcast gives hints, tips, tricks, techniques to pique the interest of people like me and helps to see the value and ultimate reward of embracing marketing as an essential component of having a thriving business. Highly recommend!

Love this! Quite an epiphany for me!
I cannot even fully express what an eye opening podcast series this has been so far. I'm shocked when I see a negative review here because this is one of the most valuable things I have ever heard. By the time I got through the seventh episode (which was today), it was as if I broke through a thick glass wall. For years I have been stuck in my lack of understanding of the ideas of generating business and dealing with heavy competition. It's amazing how Tony Robbins lead me (rather by accident) to a book by Sean Stephenson who then led me to Joe polish and Dean Jackson. I love how Joe Polish says at the end of the podcast episode seven, "until the next podcast, go do something useful for the world". Awesome!

After 130+ Hours I Still Find Gold In Every Episode
I think this show is fantastic. Dean and Joe have great guests, pass on terrific topical information (mostly evergreen content that just passes the tests of time), and occasionally engage in some small talk, a la “Here’s what’s new with me, what’s new with you?” And you know what? Every bit of it has some marketing lesson
some quip, some tip, some eminently useable framework that even the casual listener could use to make their marketing better. Thanks to Dean, Joe, and their guests for taking the time out to share their passion for marketing. I for one, am soaking up every word! Thanks to these guys, I Love Marketing now, too!

    Value Value Value
Joe is a Rock Star and Deen is his Agent/Publicist/Producer. Awesome content and value on every recording. If you run a business and aren't listening to this in the gym, car, or kitchen you're missing out.

    There’s Value Here
I Just Can’t Find It
I respect these two for what they’ve done, but this this podcast is extremely difficult to follow. It’s not because of the sound quality, either. What it comes down to is trying to comprehend the takeaways from the “fluff.” 98% of the show is small talk, most of which is Joe talking about how great he is. We get it Joe, you’re well-connected and you make a lot of money. But what I don’t understand is why you feel the need to constantly remind us of the new cars, who you’re having dinner with, and how amazing your campaigns are. It’s as if you’re trying to tell us all the money you make isn’t as important as how much you can talk about it. For the marketing consumer—the person who loves marketing and wants to help clients—I’m struggling to find the value in the show. I know it’s there, I just can’t find it.

I hope my competation did not find out about this podcast.
Joe {plish and Dean Jackson are doing a fabilous job by teaching us the real and pratical marketing, not just class room theories. I hope my competation did not find out about this podcast and about them. By the way if they did find out by then we will be so high above the ladder than we don't have to worry about our competation. Joe Polish and Dean Jackson taught us how to be a competaion proof so you competation don't have any capicity to hurt you.

    Breathe Already
Must be the type of microphones you guys are using but it's VERY distracting to hear the wind rush in past your microphone in between each idea you're trying to depict. The intake of air is just as loud as your voices. In the last few episodes it's more distracting than the rest.
  • peppermb
    Breathe quietly please
This is a weird review but I can't listen to this podcast. Every time the guy takes a breath it echoes through the microphone. It bugs me.

    The most value podcast ever
There simply isn't a more valuable podcast in existence for entrepreneurs and business owners. It is the single reason why I produce massive results for my clients, companies doing well over $30, $70, and $100million year.
  • Marine2niche
    Boring
What a waste of time. These guys have no personality and it seems that they are just talking to each other rather than really passing on any true value. The worst part is that today's episode in Dec 2013 is no better than the first in 2010
  • Brian McGovern
Dean is Batman, Joe is Batgirl
I love marketing and this podcast. Sure, Joe drops more names than Sammy the Bull Gravano - but you got to love him. "Two guys talking for an hour?" Yes, two of the smartest and most generous marketing experts alive. They dive deep into a concept and I always get gold. Dean is a genius and Joe is, well, "special."
  • Dmoney1979
    Not enjoying anymore
Started out great but now the show feels like all it's about is how famous Joe is and how many important people he knows. Unsubscribing. Thanks for a great couple years guys, not for me anymore.

    I wish it were different
So much useful information but very difficult to listen to as name dropping and talk about charging 10k or 25k per head events gets really annoying. If you can listen without getting nauseated by this, there is good content. Someone clearly has a Napolean complex on this show, however--if I hear how he's chums with Richard Branson one more time, I will vomit on my iPhone making it impossible for me to listen to further episodes.
  • Apg002
    Great
    Lots of depth and entertaining.

    Exceptional
I've listened to every episode since day one, some of them a few times. It's like a marketing degree in stuff that really works. Love it. Thank you Dean and Joe. :)
