One of the better FFXIV podcasts
Editing: Lately the podcast has been incredibly negative. This is a good show but one of the hosts gets up on a soap box several times an episode. I honestly skip through it. She also interrupts EVERYONE. Gets annoying. Let them finish their thought.

    It’s good
    They cool

    Misunderstood part of trailer
You guys thought it said “will our hero play his part.” What was said: “the stage is set, but will our healer deign to play their part.”

    Meh.
Aspiring actresses that have bright futures ahead of them working at their local Waffle Houses. Occasional whining about ‘representation’ in a video game. I’m gonna start complaining that FFXIV doesn’t have any bald, cranky, ugly dudes with bad teeth, and possessing very bad attitudes, in their 40s that sit around smoking fine pipe tobacco and drinking Tom Collins with extra gin - I demand to be represented too.

Good for half the player base
Hello, and I hope those reading this understand. I really love FFXIV and have been searching for any content to listen to at work. Yet as a crafting main, it really hurts that those talking on the subject know little to nothing about it. It’s great for savage content etc. but as an overarching site on all FFXIV content, I wish they would bring in a crafting main to discuss these issues from someone else’s perspective.

    Catching up on old content
I’m catching up on old extremes and resumed playing this episode right after I finished Hells Kier Extreme and you started talking about Suzaku very cool enjoy the podcast

    Fun Show
I think it's a fun podcast to listen to

Good show, but stop talking over each other
Enjoyed the show for the first 45 minutes, but found myself distracted by the constant one upping of each other’s comments. The show would be so much more enjoyable if the panel didn’t just START TALKING before the other finished. It’s most obvious with the girl. She just wants to talk all over the other hosts, and doesn’t care if they are not even close to finished with their thought. She has to get her one liner in. But if they can address that the show would be a must listen to.

    FFXIV Podcast!
I enjoy listening to it, they are great when there's news and they get some pretty neat interviews.

    Elusively fun and informative
This podcast is no doubt one of the better of the final fantasy podcasts. When I saw only a few people had posted reviews and several of them had remarks about the podcast being boring I got a pit in my stomach. I have tried a few other podcasts and none of them have kept my attention and informed me like this one has. As a long time player of ffxiv ever since 1.0 I have found that this podcast not only gave me new and interesting information about the game (although much of the info is on the live letters which I do not look into as I am lazy on that subject which I will admit is bad on a fundamental level) they also gave me fun tidbits of lore that makes the game more fun as well. All in all the cast is funny and informative (as I have repeated several times before in my review). But I digress this podcast is the only one I will listen to on the subject of ffxiv and I think that if you are a player of the game and are looking for a fun easy listen for info on the game it's definantly worth a listen. Sincerely, Enocha Seine of the Midgar Knights. Located in your friendly and fun world of Balmung in the realm of Eorzea. Best of luck fellow adventurers!

    FFXIV's finest
This is hands down the most informative and professional FFXIV podcast out there - and I've listened to them all. I just wish they had the time for more! Thanks for the hard work, guys and gals.

    Eorzea for listeners.
I thoroughly enjoy listening to this podcast. It is mainly the patch notes on audio, although there are plenty of other episodes that this podcast does such as fan fest and special interviews with guests. This is a very good source of information on the inner workings of the realm of Eorzea.

In Need of A Fresh Review!
Being a FFXI player, I listened to Limit Break Radio and when XIV was announce I started listening to Aytheryte Radio (had some of the same hosts). A lot has happened since then and reading through the old reviews is not a good reflection of what the show is now. The amount of community support and attention they bring to XIV is wonderful. After listening to them over the years, I really trust their opinions and if you visit their site, you can get loads of lore, dev, and behind the scenes game info! Thank you guys for being part of the XIV community!!

    Best FF14 podcast
Only one that gets its facts straight and doesn't have annoyingly childish hosts.

    Keep doing it!
I think it's crazy that anyone could be negative about your show. The fact: it's hard to find any podcast on Final Fantasy ARR that lasted more than 10 episodes. I like hearing the live letter red and opinions on it because I shouldn't be reading and driving at the same time! :). Ignore the loonies that don't realize that a podcast takes effort and isn't for everyone. If you take out live letter discussion, awesome lore discussion, and a little fun opinions, I'm not sure what would be left, but I wouldn't subscribe to it! You guys have it right and it is the most enjoyable podcast of ARR I have heard. More episodes are always appreciated:)

    Really enjoy
I really enjoy everything about this podcast. I don't understand the hater of this podcast I mean sure we all could research everything there is to know about the game, but with a schedule like mine I don't have the time. It's nice to have people who devote their time to research for me and explain things for me. So I really enjoy this podcast and hope to get more updates as they come. Only complaint is I can't get more fast enough.

    This podcast
This podcast is great for hardcore motorbike lovers. rock on dudes!

    Garbage
This is in reference to episode #56, my first exposure to this podcast. One of the host's kids was screaming, squealing, and crying in the background virtually the entire time. This completely ruined it for me.

    For the love of god
For the love of god turn off your computer sound when recording. It used to be a instant messenger sound and now it's the ffxiv select sound. It's like nails on a chalkboard

    I love aetheryte radio
If you play ffxiv, and you want to keep up to date on everything that is going on now and planned for the future, aetheryte radio is a must. I really enjoy the hosts and think they do a great job with their insightful commentary. Two thumbs up.

Longest running Final Fantasy XIV (14) Podcast - enough said.
I really like the hosts, especially Fusion X's even keel approach to the show - the strong enthusiasm of Final Fantasy is clear there. And did I mentioned this podcast was around for 4 years during the darkest time of 1.0 (2011-12) and during the end Dalamud fall last Fall? The Gamer Escape crew didn't jump into Final Fantasy because all of the sudden now it's a hot new thing (like many other new FF14 relate podcasts), these are real fans and really been around the block. Lastly, thank the Twelves for the hosts of not calling the game "Final Fantasy X, I, V". Enough said. These guys know what they are talking about.

    Best FFXIV podcast out there.
A lot of FFXIV podcasts have come and gone over the past 4 years. It's easy to understand why this one is still up.

    Craving every new episode
The Aetheryte Radio Podcast team, along with GamerEscape, continues to be the best news resource for FFXIV. They work hard constantly to bring us official news directly from Square Enix in podcast form, both from direct interviews as well as gathering information that other community sites, and Square Enix themselves, have published. Their well rounded team brings viewpoints from all sides, and their recent restructure shows their dedication to the life and breath of this game. 5 stars, no contest.

    Great Podcast
    Keep it up!

    Extremely boring
I instantly unsubscribed after sitting through an entire episode of nothing but the hosts re-reading the live letter questions that any Final FantasyXIV fan most likely already has read in the first place a dozen times. Why would people want to hear them re-read again? Extremely boring and not worth subscribing to.

    Best FFXIV Podcast
This podcast is done by fans for fans. It's informative, opinionated, and entertaining. I can't wait for the 2.0 version of the game and this podcast has been a great mechanism for communicating information about the current and upcoming version. Shout out to Gungnir! -Heavens Graveaccent

    Really organized
The host does a great job of keeping us informed and does a great Job of giving us a sense of what the new content Is like. If its fun, balanced, interesting, difficult, etc... Nerding out is kept to a minimum. And steak is the good mix of opinion, buffer, and comic relief.

    Tabbed Browsing
I like listening. It's basically just the patch notes in an audio form- and I don't mind the opinions; but seriously, and I know this might be a crazy thought here but, I'mma throw it out there: HAVE THE BRAGGING RIGHTS THREAD OPEN. Even if you don't care, and you're just listening and browsing the web, you can have it in a tab. It is painfully simple.

    Welcome back!
Glad to hear you guys again. I haven't played the game in months and your news is really the only source of information for me. You've gotten me a little excited again!
