11-24-23- Hench got a caricature!!!!!New review after this paragraph -/ 1st episode with Hinch was a home run!- always hear his name dropped on Bill Simmons podcast so nice to get to hear his takes. A natural podcaster so looking forward to the future with Shek and Hinch! 12-30-21- Just read a review not liking Hinch- crazy talk. Love his passion and doesn’t let his fandom for his hometown teams skew his opinions on upcoming games. - main line me more Hinch. Have loved Dave’s football opinions for a long time now. Loved the Ddfp podcast when he was employee of the NFL, and still really enjoy his love of professional football. His only downside ( sorry Dave) are his hockey opinions. Dave is such a fanboy of the Penguins it really hurts his analysis of hockey. He suggests crazy rule changes and generally just doesn’t understand hockey culture and the ways of the game like he does football. Dave on football=great Dave on hockey = suspect. Oh yeah- never understand why podcasters apologize for making podcasts too long-if I like a podcast I want it to be as long as possible -

Been listening to Dave for ages. He always brings great attitude and fun to football and all things. These guys actually interact with fans unlike some other guys! Thanks Dave and Eddie for entertaining my car rides every week!

Hench’s constant leftist whining ruins this show for me. I can only listen to episodes that he isnt on. Those are great. Please. He is such a whining p*ssy. Its so bad. And so good when he isnt there.

You guys are 100% right that Hench’s politics are dog crap from a guy who who has no idea what side of the 80/20 split he’s on…but that doesn’t ruin the pod! I’m more bummed about the no swearing than I am that celebrities don’t agree with me. I’d bet 99% of the celebrities don’t share my opinions.

Don’t make the same mistake they did in Wayne’s World. Sal hinted at a big announcement on extra points today and then Hench mentioned a new no swearing policy directed at him because of some “big goings on at corporate”. I’m guessing you guys got a new investor or something which is awesome, but tell them if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! Hench’s passionate tirades are hilarious. Let the guy be.

Use to LOVE Dave but now I’m hearing more political talk from that idiot Hench. Like seriously dude give it up! Your harping on an experimental vaccine that shouldn’t be mandated. Just another brainwashed journo who’s too stupid to form his own opinions. And for the love of god please turn off your email notifications during the podcast! Every 2 or 3 minutes I’m hearing that sound and it’s making me think I have a new unread email.

Love Dave (Go ‘Lers) but the volume on his mic has GOT to be moderated more. Nothing wrong with getting amped on topics, but when I have to constantly have my hand on the volume rocker on my phone and/or skip ahead, it makes enjoying the podcast difficult.

Hench. Seriously man. Get over the vaccine. Why does someone making a medical choice make them a bad person, yet a woman’s choice for medical care to kill a kid is fine? Think about it man.

Despite agreeing with Hench’s sports takes roughly half the time, his grating delivery and ignorant Marxist politics have made his guest spot episodes an auto-skip for me. I’d rather listen to Let’s Go Brandon forget the English language for 45 minutes.

Love Shek- funniest guy in sports with amazing recall; but Eddie Spaghetti is a dullard with no sports knowledge or personality. He turns what should be a must subscribe 5 star show into a 2-1/2 star occasional listen.

Dave Dameshak is outstanding as a host to this podcast. Great chemistry among the group of guys-Eddie Spaghetti, Kevin Hench. Cultural discussions, ranking of fruit...all of this is good! BUT...now I realize what the podcast is after listening during the NFL season. It's a betting podcast (-3, get it?). I tend to listen AFTER the games talked about and BOY, I will NEVER place a bet on any sport ever!! They are so far off on almsot every game!! It is stunning how bad their picks are (Eddie Spagetti is really really bad). But I listen becasue I enjoy the banter.

I really can’t stand Eddie spaghetti. He’s just dull. I’d listen to this podcast more if he talked less.

My rating for this show would be 5 stars if not for one personality and one personality only -- Eddie Spaghetti. Eddie is proof you can take any dude, give him all the time in the world to follow sports, and that due can become very knowledgable about sports, yet have NO BUSINESS speaking into a microphone for public consumption. Get this frat bro off the show. I'll admit I don't now what goes into producing a podcast, so Eddie may be perfectly capable at that aspect of his job (though I will point out there are a billion podcasts on earth, so podcast producers can't be that hard to come by), but he brings NOTHING to the show as an occasional contributor, let alone as a co-host for an entire episode. A talking pull-string toy could do what Eddie does on the microphone. How could an inanimate object seemlessly fill Eddie's shoes? Because all Eddie does is respond to questions from Dave with the biggest homer stance possible. What's your take on Daniel Jones, pull-string toy? "Oh, future Hall of Famer. The next Eli Manning, who is also a future Hall of Famer, by the way. All those deficiencies Jones has shown the last couple years? Not his fault." What's your take on the Yankees, pull-string toy? "Yeah sure they've underachieved for months, BUT hear me out -- they're going to turn it around. Why? Because they're my favorite team! What more evidence do you need?!" Blatant homerism aside, Eddie makes the absolute dumbest statements. He once referred to the Eastern Conference Finals as the "ECF." I've followed sports for three decades and never heard anyone refer to a conference finals by its abbreviations. He thought the Islanders and Lightening would go to 7 games for no other reason than the fact they went 6 games in the playoffs the year before. And he referred to a Game 5 in the NBA Playoffs as being pivotal. Wow, you don't say, Eddie. You mean to tell me the fifth game of a series that is tied 2-2 might be significant? That had never occurred to me! I love Dave and Hench has been a welcome addition to the show, but the episode on 7/29/21 shows just how much Dave relies on a capable sidekick to bounce thoughts off of when Hench isn't on the show. Dave picked some interesting topics, but Eddie is such a zero I barely made it through the episode. I hate to be so harsh, but Eddie has never made a good or interesting point. He just sits in waiting, like a super sensitive shark, to defend teams from New York, Boston, Notre Dame, or wherever else he's formed a loose association to allow him to expand his bandwagon homer radius. Lastly, aside from Eddie, if Nick Kostos is the best representative of New York the show can book, maybe we can all agree to omit New York from this Northeast-centered sports podcast and be the better for it.

I really enjoy the podcast episodes with Kevin Hench. He’s very smart and funny as hell…when I can hear him. Spaghetti, produce. Does anyone on the podcast listen to the podcast afterward?

Kevin Hench is a name I had heard alot from Adam Carolla, who constantly drops Kevin’s name in order to prop up the fantasy that he too is a “writer”. Anyway, it’s super-ironic that Kevin ended up being a better podcaster than Adam. More compelling for sure. I love this show. Good job Eddie. Shek has been a made guy forever in my book.

Would be one of the best podcasts out there but the fact that Hench’s audio comes and goes like the Celtic’s defense is so GD distracting it’s inaudible. This is multiple months worth of nonsense technology, please figure it out

Always a great listen. Audio has been a little choppy for Dave of late. Makes it a more challenging listen. But love the work. Seems like maybe a wifi issue or Zoom-related?

I’m enjoying the show! I don’t understand the gambling talk, but like the general sports talk etc. Not sure why they’re only focusing on the northeast teams as they are generally highly covered in sports media already.

Has gone off the rails with left wing woke lies and propaganda. Remember when sports was just about sports. The addition of hench has made this unlistenable. Pushing lies, bias and propaganda from radical left nut jobs.

Dave is a delight.

So glad that Shek and Spaghetti are back. Editing after Money and Hank’s first appearance - that episode was the single best podcast episode I’ve listened to in the last year. Chemistry is unparalleled. Keep em coming!

Sorely miss the DDFP. Schwartz is mediocre at best. The forced emphasis on betting unfortunately restricts Dave and does not allow him to shine. They need to just let Dave do what he does best and gab about the games of football and life.

It’s a great podcast but to make it better you need more Sessler.Mark is da man and he makes all podcasts better. If you haven’t already pleas go check out the guys at around the nfl . Great content.

This podcast is a great sports bar conversation. All my favorite topics and strong opinions on goofy topics. Fantastic.

Apparently the gambling reference in the title and being on a gambling network are too subtle of hints? Shek is a Genius, and Schwartz has been lights out on his picks! And Eddie Spaghetti is great too...even if he doesn’t know the Holy War is BYU-Utah!

Overall, this podcast does a pretty good job of talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers every week. The hosts will occasionally get carried away and start talking about some other NFL, or college, or NBA teams, but they always return to the black and yellow eventually. Subscribe and listen if you want some basic overviews of the Steelers and explanations of why they’ll win every week, but also want to hear a brief discussion of a handful of other teams. The only thing that’s confusing is the name; they should consider a switch to something a little more Yinzer-specific so as not to confuse people who might expect this to be a gambling podcast that discusses the entirety of the league.

I get doing something different after so long and am happy Dave’s doing something new. Personally not as big a fan and not a big fan of him sort of just dropping he was done with the other podcast basically out of no where :/. Happy for dave, bummed I don’t like his new podcast.

What an epic failure guys. Big Shek fan, you’ll get it together, but come on.

I love the pod and Shek especially, please get Schwartz a decent microphone or fix the mix, especially bad in Episode 4, painfull because you cant hear Schwartz so you crank it up then Shek comes in and you get blasted. Now get off my lawn and go back to work.
