jbucks12Classic News StyleThis podcast uses a classic news format to convey the news of the day with a clearly conservative and Christian slant. This is the program that I wish was on public radio.

Sheldon F.Awesome news source!Found this about 2 months ago and I haven’t missed a day since. Wonderful to get news from a Christian based perspective. Keep up the great work!

westygrammyThank you so much!It is clear, concise, and truthful reporting! I am grateful for the financial and world news and also the opinion pieces clearly labeled as such.

Jpnlpinlove#1 Best News!I highly recommend this news podcast! I tell everyone about it! I never miss an episode. In a time when people are getting their news from Tik Tok, I feel like I'm better informed but, at the same time, not anxious about the news.

DeltaRazorbackBetter than NPRThis podcast has quickly become one of my daily go-to podcasts. The hosts (My favorite is Mary Reichard) are very well informed and the news is delivered in an incredibly professional format. I like the bumper music too!

Pandycandi22Truth and real journalism—who knew?New listener here, but I’ll soon be putting my money where my review is. Love everything about this daily look into our world. Myrna Brown’s voice is smooth and peaceful like a quiet walk in the morning. Keep up the great work. The Scripture reading at the end and all the musical selections are the best bonuses.

LippardMRAn excellent alternativeI hate the news. That’s a strong word, but I cannot stand to listen to the news on TV. Everything is a crisis. Everything is negative. In other words, the sky is always falling. Well, of course it is, because we live in a fallen world. This podcast presents a new way to listen to the news. The first couple minutes hits you with the top six stories of the day, followed by segments on current events, as well as human interest pieces. I always listen through to the end to hear the final commentary on each days program, which reminds me of Who it is that organizes each day and leaves me hopeful for the future, because the same God who created the “world and everything in it” loves me and has a plan for me. This is a program dedicated to biblically objective journalism and they follow through with their mission to inform, educate, and inspire. I am aware of the events going on in the world without being weighed down by the yellow journalism that plagues much of the mainstream media.

I ♥️♥️♥️ JesusI ♥️ worldThe best Christian news ever!!!!!

Die2myselfNo discernment hereLove the news, but your propping up of Jesus Revolution with that devil Lonnie Frisbee shows a clear lack of discernment on your part. Also, your affirmation of the blasphemous “He Gets Us” campaign shows you have no problem approving evil. Y’all are sick.

Adam E 592Solid news podcast from a biblical worldviewWorld does a wonderful job with this daily podcast delivering important stories to listeners from a foundational biblical worldview. Their weekly segments cover topics in depth that often go ignored (especially court cases!) and provide consistent updates on issues that are uniquely concerning to Christ followers. Importantly, their coverage is less sensational than most and offers hope despite challenging headlines. Highly recommend!

from a prime mommaGod honoring folks informing, educating and encouragingI’ve listened to this podcast for many years and it remains one of my daily listens. The weekly segments (Monday’s focuses on courts and finances, Washington Wednesday, Colson on Thursday, Fridays with John Stonestreet, etc) are informative and thought provoking- not doom and gloom scare tactics such as many news producers give. There are the short stories halfway through that encourage or make me laugh. There are the real life stories of individuals that inspire me or make me cry. I appreciate those behind the scenes who are striving to honor God in the reporting. I enjoy the daily verse at the end on which I meditate. And I’m grateful to my dad to introducing me to this podcast!

A-A-Ron 71Great news programI’ve listen to “The World and Everything In It” for about two years now and it’s the first thing I do every morning. It’s great way to hear the news that you can trust. It really has blessed me and encouraged me in my daily walk with the Lord. Sometimes the news can be so depressing, but this news program really gives me hope.

Carrie StarlingPlease ReadHi, my mom is an amazing God fearing woman and she listens to this great podcast every day. She just had her birthday on January 14 and I couldn’t think of what to give her, but if you could please give her a shout out on the show her name is Katherine and she is a really amazing person and a great mom!

Casey UnverzagtA Godsend! The World and Everything In It is a breath of fresh air in today’s news climate. Thank you for faithfully sharing the news, both good and seemingly bad, while reminding listeners of God’s providence and authority. Keep rockin’ it!

ArkyscottExcellent But Too Much FluffThe content and production values of the podcast are both excellent. The only issue I have is that it is hard to listen to as a podcast. It feels more like (and may well be) a radio broadcast with the commercials removed. So much time is wasted on intro and outro music for segments, and constant repeated introductions and re-introductions of the name of the show, the date, the names of the hosts, etc. It is quite annoying when you consider the time wasted as someone who listens to a number of podcasts in limited time every day. And, typically one or more segments are more “human interest” or social issues segments. Great if that’s what you want. It’s often more commentary than “news”. I keep listening for now. But at least 2-3x a week I consider dropping it.

iprssBetter and BetterI’ve been listening to World’s podcast from the very beginning (when it was just World radio) and I’m impressed with how much they’ve done over the years, adding more information, adding new segments & making it more acccessible to listen to. I used to listen to World after listening to Daily Wire for news but now I start with World before DW (after Bible time of course— priorities! 😉) since it is more optimistic because it comes from a Biblical perspective & filters the news through that lens first. I get the added benefit of their “personal interest” stories, which can often make me smile, not to mention occasional cute little “3 yr.old introducers” who enunciate quite well 😁

CindybeebabeBonnieBeautiful job on the final thoughts of the podcast today!

Wammy LyndaThankful ListenerI listen every morning to The World and Everything In It. I previously used NPR for my news , but The World has blown that out of the water. Every day I am informed, encouraged and so very thankful for this biblically faithful news service.

Missing ARDaily listenerI start every day with this podcast. I appreciate the details, and insight provided by the journalist into the current news stories going on around the world. It’s amazing to me how much more I learned from this podcast then from watching the 30 minute nightly world news. I also appreciate the fact that due to the information provided, I can speak more intelligently to others about current events.

PackslayerAmazing! My #1 source of news! Presents stories in an intriguing and entertaining way that always has a steady Christian worldview. The World and Everything In It is a steady part of my daily routine. I’m in high school and this podcast helps me keep up to date on relevant topics without having the leftist media’s narrative shoved down my throat. 10/10 phenomenal work would recommend to everyone.

TomCat3459Extended interview with Chris BrawnThis was a deeper discussion that I enjoyed/ needed to hear. Please continue offering these types of special programs.

wrcxfUnpacking ForgivenessFinished reading Brauns’ book prior to the show. Highly recommend to untangle the myths and wrong teachings of forgiveness. Repentance comes before forgiveness; don’t dispense cheap grace. Read this book.
-
AhomeschooledgirlThis is the best podcast ever!I really like listening to this while I do my chores, and I really appreciate the effort that goes into this! I would highly recommend it to anyone I know who is looking for a solid, Christian news source that is highly engaging. They don’t parrot the headlines of other news sources, but they get down deep to give you the truth.

SkamperooRosario ButterfieldThe first episode I listened to was with the guest Rosario Butterfield. Her delivery was harsh and arrogant. It was an unfortunate introduction to this podcast.

slance1We rely on The World and Everything In ItMy husband and I listen to the podcast almost everyday of the world. We appreciate the news and love the fun things that get thrown in. I recently heard about a listener who is unhappy about the pre rolls and the music in between pieces etc. He thinks those are a waste of time. Wow! I wonder if he knows he can increase the speed of play? Just set it to 2 and he should be through the program in just a few minutes. Voila! 😆 Thank you to everyone who works to get this podcast out daily. You are amazing.

12235432134456Head and shoulders above other news sourcesWorld and Everything In It presents news from a biblical worldview. (Side note: every news source has a worldview. Choose the one you want.) Their reporting is fair, balanced, and helpful. After listening to a segment, I feel encouraged and informed.

Papa FlipWonderful news ProgramI have been listening for years now, so grateful to have an avenue of such great effort to look at our world. One thing I always look forward to hearing is at the end of the podcast you quote from the Bible, a few words and its reference point, thank you. Our substance we hope for and things we do not see completely comes alive in us from hearing God‘s word, again thank you. I will end with this quote, written, long ago, “For he has shown you oh man, what is good, and what does he require of you, to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8 At WNG it’s obvious you all strive for that.

Whitfields4Extended InterviewThis podcast is a life raft in a sea of confusion every week. But right now, i am just overwhelmed by the gift of this weekend’s extended interview. Thank you so much for playing the full interview with Rosario Butterfield. She is such a dynamic speaker and helps us deal with the unexpected problems of this age. Who knew that laughing at the gay actor on a tv show in the 80s would lead us into the more we walk through today. Butterfield is a voice of reason, calm, and encouragement as we deal with this topic and I’m always grateful for her work. Again, thank you for bringing her voice to the front line in this fight.
-
Ed4683An excellent source of current eventsI rely on World daily to inform me of current events, along with in-depth reporting on important topics. The Christian worldview of the reporting is important, but also important is World’s commitment to truthful and accurate reporting. I very much appreciated the recent extended interview with Rosaria Butterfield and hope to hear more of these.

GingerG662Thank you! After Friday’s episode I was looking forward to hearing the longer interview with Mrs. Butterfield. It did not disappoint. Great interview, would love to be able to listen to more episodes like this one.
-
lesliejoy93Thank you for the Rosaria Butterfield interviewI always love The World and Everything In It. They do such a great job covering the News. But sometimes it’s just too little with whoever they are talking to or about. So I loved this interview and deep dive into this very important topic. Keep it up.
