CajunequestrianJames Horner episodeGreat podcast and long time listener! I do have a correction to make on your James Horner episode. He never actually did the music for Hocus Pocus. He was slated to do it, but dropped out last minute and John Denny took it up.

chidii_Moana 2 Was My Last StrawAfter listening to a podcast episode about Moana 2, I was taken aback by how outdated the host’s perspective was. They claimed that the lack of a love interest for Moana pushes the idea that all women want to be alone, which, in 2024, is an interesting take Why does Moana need a romantic subplot to make her journey complete? What frustrated me even more was the criticism of the new male character, dismissed as not being “manly enough” to be attractive to Moana. Why reduce a male character’s growth to whether he fits a stereotypical “manly man” mold? A man can be strong through emotional vulnerability, softness, or personal growth without it making him less “masculine.” i don’t get these outdated male centered view points

Colin W.Used to EnjoyI loved this show for years. Since coming back with newer episodes Chelsea and Morgan just can’t help but let cringy conservative nonsense spew out. Come on guys. Sad I’ll have to stop listening because of their ignorance. Wish you all well.

Wizard0198765In Every Job That Must Be Done, There Is An Element Of Fun!The Animation Addicts podcast with hosts, The Rotoscopers, is the only podcast I listen to and mainly while I’m at work. All of the episodes bring an element of fun into my mundane work day. I love all of the commentary, listening to amazing interviews with Animators and voice actor, the funny jokes by the hosts, and all of the inside information on Animation and Disney. I’ve been a Disney fan since I was a wee bonnie lass and I enjoy this podcast a lot. If you are an Artist, Animator, Disney or Pixar addict, this podcast is a must!

Biased HostLong time listener/ fanThis podcast got me through surgery recovery back in 2014, and I’ve avidly listened and relistened to every episode since! Proud Patreon, and can’t wait to hopefully come on the show one day. XoXo, Katie

Xanderland StudiosBest Animation Podcast. Period.Definitely my favorite podcast. I love all the hosts, but my personal favorite is Morgan, she has so much infectious fun, positive energy and it’s so awesome!!! SEVERAL favorites of mine have been discussed, including Tangled, Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie, Megamind, The Incredibles, and so many many more. I would like to request a few shows you Addicts could cover as these are some favorite shows of mine: Teen Titans, He-Man, Kim Possible, Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, & Star VS The Forces of Evil. If you could cover just one of these I’d be satisfied. My only real complaint is the amount of ads on each episode, I think there should be one or two. No other problems! It’s a great podcast!! Love the hosts, love the movies they cover!! Check this out:) 10/10

Ella BasilPodcast! This is a really great podcast! I always love listening!!! Keep up the great work! <3 (I’d also love a review of the Lionsgate Pinocchio;)

TonyjaayyROTOSCOPERS 🍿🎥Love them and this podcast so much! They are so down to earth and their love for animated films is so great, they’ve actually made me rewatch all these animated films that they talk about and I now want to start my own podcast ☺️🙌🏻

Sally LewitchUpbeat, fun conversationsDefinitely my favorite podcast about animation. Love their discussions and how much they nerd out on story and animation tropes. I love how fun and upbeat the hosts are… their conversations always brightens my day!

KLSKRTAnimation AddictsOriginal Review: This is one of the best animation podcasts if not the best one I listen to. I’ve been listening long enough to remember the old trio and the current duo is great. Lots of variety in films they review instead of focusing on just one studio like other shows. Funny, informative, and just entertaining. New Review: Remember when they didn’t have ads literally every two minutes?
-
AngryPlayer44Ads Ruin ItThis is a decent show, although they take extended breaks sometimes. But the WORST thing about it is the ads. Too many for their episode length, and they cut right in the middle of the host’s discussions. No warning whatsoever. They even happen right in the middle of this review brought to you by Progressive. For home and auto insurance claims, call Progressive sentences which is really annoying. It can be very jarring to be into a topic and then this review brought to you by Homeshield. Protect your home with Honeshield all of a sudden hear a random ad. I get they gotta be paid, but this review brought to you by Carvana, the new way to buy and sell your car they went way too far into Patreon and ads lately, and it feels now like a ploy for money than an authentic discussion at this point.

Celebration2007funny!😂Loved this one😂 and i loved how you guys talked about the christianity in rise of the guardians♥️✨mason is my favorite!! So funny!!😂😂😂♥️
-
GXL GAMERThank you!!!This is literally the best animation related podcast. It’s so much fun to hear and they don’t sugarcoat their thoughts on the films they discuss which is awesome. Thank you for making my day many times!
-
Nostromo JoeAnimazing!Love the variety of animated films discussed! Great analysis and entertaining takes on everything! Looking forward to the future!
-
PbryanJA great time to chill with friendsLove Morgan, Chelsea and Mason. For the past few years I’ve gotten to follow them and listen to them talk as friends needing out about the stuff I love hearing and talking about myself. I love their nuggets of philosophy and how their talks can go towards the spiritual and meaningful side of the movies. This continues to lift me up. Sadly we don’t hear much of Mason as much any more but listening to Morgan and Chelsea is still one of my favorite times during the week. Thank you guys for keeping all of us engaged and excited for the movies we love.
-
Mxsandy12Wonderful and charming Podcast! This is such a fun combination of information and banter. The hosts CLEARLY adore the topic and it shows on the podcast. They give me inside information I had no idea existed and also sound like my friends just having a casual conversation. I’m in!
-
Jillian MathewsPodcast is amazing!I thoroughly enjoy this podcast! I love learning about my favorite animated movies from my childhood to the present day! I love Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Nightmare Before Christmas and Casper and so much more! I’ve learned a few things that I didn’t about these movies that I’ve all these years! And you guys are really funny! I’m looking forward to learning more and more things while listening to this incredible podcast!!

Hufflepuff StuffLove Animation varietyI love this Podcast! In particular I like the inro music, especially of the older episodes. But what really makes me happy is the variety of studios and types of animation covered. I really love 2D animation (especially Disney Xerox) as well as claymation. I recently Watched a series of Stop motion animated movies. That was a swell time. Some were smoother than others but that's how it goes. I also watched some Don Bluth movies. Good times! I really appreciate the ay you guys talk about him. Now I am doing a Disney rematch. It is fun to listen in on movies I've recently seen as well as ones to which I need to peak at again because my memory of those movies is dusty. thank you for inspiring me to to be more vigalant of animated movies especially of 2D non-disney movies. Despite my love for 2D animation my favorite Studio of all time is easily Pixar! Waht about you guys? Some movies I would recommend you watch if you have not seen them would be "Triplets of Belleville", "Anomalisa", "Make Mine Music", "Tom and Jerry the fast and the Furry", and "Yellow Submarine". I have more, but we'll save that for later. Maybe Patreon.

Earthsong777A little insensitiveI found this podcast about two weeks ago and binged a bunch of my favorite movies that they reviewed, but the hosts continued disregard for color conscious casting in animation has lost a listener. I have heard at least five or six times all at different points in this podcast’s history that the hosts don’t think that casting white voice actors for bipoc roles is a big deal, and that people “shouldn’t be so offended” by this practice (takes from their episode “An American Tail: Fievel Goes West”). I understand that this podcast goes as far back as the early 2010’s, but to have episodes still running and to not acknowledge this harmful message is inexcusable. This idea hurts your bipoc audience, and the excuse of “that’s how it is” is no longer viable in the world of 2020. I’m hoping that the hosts can at least recognize that this statement is harmful and no longer acceptable in our world, but if they don’t, I hope that people can see this and be aware of their stance on bipoc representation in animation.

Kurtless64A really good time with some really fun people (Please read this message in Hank Hill's voice Mason)Propane, Dang it Bobby! I've been with these folks since the beginning and they have always been around to lighten my spirits and keep me in a positive state of mind. I wish I could know them personally so that we could talk about animation and have a good time doing it. America isn't just made in the 3 colors on the flag, but also in the goodwill of Morgan, Chelsea, and Mason as they respresent the curious fun loving animation lovers in all of us. I yell with joy that the thought of this podcast existing, aaaaahaaahaah! (Please yell like Hank Hill does in King of the Hill, that would be great Mason). Love, Kurt

DisneyGeekeryJust Subscribe. You won't regret it.I am a Disney and Pixar geek. I stumbled on this gem of a podcast over a year ago, and have gone back and listened to most of the podcasts in the archive. I'm glad that they are all back together and recording again! There are several things that just make this work: - Morgan, Chelsea, and Mason are good friends with a great chemistry. You can tell they just enjoy the time together, discussing something they are all passionate about. - It is a perfect balance between well-researched and off-the-cuff. It is just FUN to listen to... especially when Mason quotes whole scenes verbatim with the correct voices to go along. - It is just good quality all-around. It is educational, but you won't know you are learning, just because it is so entertaining. My two-cents is that they should revisit some of the movies that they reviewed early on, but didn't have great sound quality. Or even revisit some where their entire team wasn't present. I wouldn't mind hearing a quality revisiting of a movie already covered! Especially some of the Disney classics.

MikeyinsdOo-De-Lally!Undeniably one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to!

CameronPatelMy Faves are BackThis was one of my favorite podcasts for so many years. I have so many fond memories of going on long walks while laughing my butt off listening to these guys. So glad to see Mason back. The three of you together are the perfect combination of personalities.

Macgyver JonesCan you even be an animation fan if you aren’t listening?I’ve reviewed before, but it looks like I can replace my original review with a newer one! I love this show so much! I have listened to it through so much of my life. I have memories listening while riding the bus and throughout every car ride, all of middle and high school, and de-stressing before performing in theater. I have found so many new animated films to watch and love. I was glad to find the podcast had new episodes when I came home unexpectedly early from my mission in Mexico due to the pandemic. I’ve been listening to a ton of old favorites too! These two months at home haven’t been easy, but tomorrow I head back out stateside and want to thank you guys for the entertainment and laughs to help me get through everything. I don’t know any of you personally, but after feeling like I’m sitting in with you guys on nerdy couch discussions, I feel like you’re my friends and I really love you guys! I can’t wait to catch up on new episodes when I get back home in October! p.s. I will never forget the special performance at the end of The Swan Princess or the thunder tube! Feel free to read this in the voice of Anton Ego giving a review if you want 😄

Masterminds ConnectMarco (@mastermindsconnect)This podcast lets me know that there are others who are as obsessed with animated movies as I am! It stands out because the crew always delves way beyond surface level in their discussion. Great to listen to while drawing!
-
JustinJunMy Virtual Disney BFF’s are Back!I’ve been listening to Chelsea, Mason, and Morgan since 2014! I’ve been such a supporter of the show since then, and NEVER unsubscribed even during their hiatus. When my feed updated with new episodes I was sooo EXCITED! These 3 are such animation lovers just like you and me! They keep the show light, high energy, and just pure FUN! If you need some “virtual friends” to talk to, or listen rather, these are your guys! This podcast is a MUST LISTEN if you consider yourself an animation fan 💙
-

-
Jds1982Great Podcast!Glad they are back! All together again! It’s a great podcast that’s fun to listen to, especially for parents who watch these movies with the kids!
-
inHim.strongNostalgic podcast for nostalgic moviesI started listening to this podcast when they first started. They’ve definitely come a long way and improved in the years they’ve been producing the show. In saying that, I don’t think they’ve hit their structural strive yet, so they tend to seem a bit more like an amateur podcast. But they’re still a great podcast to listen to. I do enjoy listening to them discuss movies, whether or not I agree with their opinions. It’s nice to hear them again and I can enjoy a podcast without political biases or cultural opinions. Just a fun, goofy podcast with some great hosts!
-
Yankeesgirlc21Animation Lovers MustSo glad the addicts are back. Great coverage of animated films new and old. Hosts have a great chemistry and are super knowledgeable. A podcast for any animation lover.
-
meghankgreenNever thoughtSoooo... I’m glad they are back!! Because I haven’t thought about all the little things they have brought up before when watching the movie... maybe because I have zero background knowledge of these kinds of things.. BUT if you want to to really get deep into the whys of the movie.. yeah.. you need this podcast. And all 3 of them have different thoughts they bring to the table!
-
byugirl65Excited they are backI love hearing the views of all 3 on films and their love of animation is contageous!
-
JazcapriMy favorite animation podcastI’ve been following the website and listening to the podcast for years. I love listening to the hosts, who love animation as much as I do, talk in depth about movies. It’s always fun, never boring, and they all bounce off eachother so well. Love this podcast!
-
cdelatorre12345Great as always! They always offer super fun discussions and great reviews with different perspectives. I’m so excited they’re coming back, I’ve really missed them!!! 😙
-
art & book geekIf you’re a fan of animated films, this is for YOU!About three years ago, I stumbled on The Animation Addicts Podcast while searching for Disney-related podcasts. Since then, I’ve combed through their back-catalogue of episodes as a way of jazzing up my commute to and from work. Morgan, Chelsea, and Mason are excellent hosts, and not only make each episode informative, but incredibly fun as well! If you’re a fan of Disney, Dreamworks, Don Bluth, and beyond, then this podcast is for you!
-
Catwalk66Top 10 EpisodesI've listened to every episode! -Some over and over and I still laugh at all the jokes and references!
-
SCCaballeroThank you!I recently found y’all’s podcast and I’ve binge listened to most of it, it puts me in a great mood while simultaneously allowing me to get busy work done. Growing up loving animation this is such a nice indulgence to listen to others talk about all the little details we’ve held onto but forgot, like nostalgia being delved into... love it so much!
-
Sam_ishGreat ShowKeep it up! I look forward to more episodes. Can you do Cartoon Network interviews in the future?
-
LeslieLovesVampiresAll around funI run cross country and sometimes it can be hard to be motivated to go run 12 mi when you have no one to run with; this is my favorite podcast to listen to when I’m running because the lighthearted banter makes me forget that I’m even running. I love your passion for all things animation! Your love of the art form shows through in your discussions; one of the best podcast I’ve listened to thus far on animation!
-
Mlp Twilight OwlI love MLP!!!!Don’t get me wrong, I love other series, but I love My Little Pony best!! I loved it since I was 5, now I am 9. I love Twilight Sparkle! I really like this podcast! Not just the My Little Pony one. 😁👍🏾
-
Passingthrough2Not greatJust found this podcast & listened to few episodes to get a feel for it. Can’t say I liked it but good effort.
-
moneymaplesBad sound qualityThe sound quality is so bad that it makes this podcast really difficult to listen to. I also think the hosts are making a podcast that’s fun for them to make without much consideration of what’s fun for the listener to listen to. I found this one because I loved listening to Drawn and was looking for something similar, but was underwhelmed and disappointed by this one.
-
Luke PascaYou don’t have to love animation to listen, it’s just flat out entertaining and interesting.(I promise this review will be helpful and not just me rambling) I came across this sometime last week and I loved it since the first 5 minutes of the first podcast. I want to be an animator and the idea only struck me last week (I’m a little slow getting on the podcast train) to look up animation podcasts. The show is quite intriguing and definitely entertaining and hilarious, as they cover many different aspects of the animation from story to technology to styles and even actors and behind the scenes facts. All three hosts bring different aspects to the table, such as Morgan does interviews and pre-screenings, Mason knows about the technical aspects, and Chelsea haz all the music knowledge. The only downsides to this podcast is something that is easily able to overcome. Chelsea and Morgan at first sound very similar when it comes to voices but as you keep listening and maybe cover podcasts where one is there and not the other, you get to recognize who is who. The other downside is sometimes audio quality is not up to par because they are recording from google hangouts or a Skype conversation, but that’s pretty rare and you subconsciously dismiss it. Recommended even if you aren’t a huge animation fan because it’s just flat out entertaining. Sorry this is so long and my compliments to whoever read this whole thing.
-
ksmrglHappy AccidentCame accross this podcast yesterday and I'm completely hooked!! I love traditional animation and originally wanted to become an animator. Listening to these is great- so much of what they discuss is right on, and I love that they cover ALL the movies, even the obscure ones!! Also the sound quality and editing is excellent and super appreciated!! Love it!!
