This rather large group of Marones from Queens have become like family to me. The ringleader of this entertaining circus, John Houlihan, keeps everything running smoothly most of the time…but when things occasionally spin out of control inside the Barrage it’s even more fun!

What a show!

Many reviews talk about how funny this show is, they are right. It is deeply hilarious and fun, and absolutely rewards multiple listens so one can understand the many personalities on the show. It gets into some deep and interesting stuff as well, and it is worth noting that it does this on what seems like a shoestring budget with an overabundence of heart. This show is very special, with a unique voice and i'm glad to have discovered it.

At this point I’ve only listened to the Guy Picciotto episode. It’s possibly the best interview I’ve heard with any fugazi member. Posting a song list of what you played during episode would be great.

Indeed, I often wish these guys could stay longer and keep the funny banter going. Admittedly I’m roughly the same age as these marones so the pop culture topics covered and the references made are in my wheelhouse but still I cannot get enough of this podcast!

Love the banter and the wisecracking, love the characters behind it even more. A+ would listen to again.

These guys have great guests but interrupt way too much! Don't ask a freakin' question if you don't want to hear the freakin' answer! So frustrating! Perfect example: the Richie Ramone interview. the guy with the deep McGruff voice is respectable but the other two are infernal nitwits.

The cast of John Houlihan, Patrick Walsh, Ryan Collison, Tommy Röckstar, and Mario Asaro delight listeners weekly with beer fueled wisdom, celebrity interviews, new music, Tommy’s news (“nüez”), The Ryan Game, and shenanigans from listeners in the live Chat Box. It’s the best way to spend a Friday night live or catch up the following week via the podcast.

I grew up listening to provincial New York talk radio and this podcast easily reminds me of why I did. Love the bits and chats more than the special guests. I feel as though I'm sitting in the back of the classroom cracking jokes right along the best of them. My only complaint is, I wish they would update more frequently. Standouts are crap and not crap and I think Patrick is hilarious. Please keep it going!

This is, without a doubt, the best podcast produced in a bar/garage in Queens, NYC. Just sayin.

I left NYC years back to live on an island in the middle of the ocean and don't regret it one bit. Why would I continue to pay crazy rent and be abused by the hard knocks of city life when I can live vicariously through these hilarious RUDE GOOD DUDES. Long Live THE BARRAGE, the ONLY podcast worthy of my time and giggles. Also TRNN is my favorite source of news at the end of show.

These guys are having a whole lotta fun and they really draw you in and make you feel you are there in that garage with them. Sometimes I wish I was, but I imagine the smell in there is prohibitively bad.

Even with my years of experience as someone who hates things semi-professionally, I love this show. I’m a late arriver to regular listening, but I’ve slowly been burning my way through the archives. I get at least one round of uncontrollable laughter out of every listen. Cheers, chooches. This is some good stuff.

Essential listening. These guys are on a roll, and this is currently my favorite podcast going. Great format, great interviews, funny as hell. My only complaint is - BRING BACK THE SHIRLEY PHONE CALLS! A+

LIVE FROM THE BARRAGE is the best radio show broadcast from a garage/bar in flushing queens that i have ever heard.

The ball-busting champions of the East Coast hang out in a sweat lodge every Friday and pretty much end up with 2.5 hours of guttural hilarity and conceptual brilliance week after week. The most consistently funny podcast you could ever hope to exist.

In all sincerity: This podcast is so far above and beyond the standards of normal podcasting it's practically a different beast altogether. If you like the kind of witty and ribald comedy combined with critical thinking that Howard Stern has pioneered, but would prefer musical discussions of the band Chavez instead of Bon Jovi, and rock show reviews rather than Dancing With the Stars this is straight up YOUR JAM right here. Smart as hell broadcast work by people that love the craft and have something to say, why is that so hard to find elsewhere? SALUT TO YOU LOVE FROM THE BARRAGE! A++++ WOULD DL AGAIN.
