Excellent discussion of cases with centrist to no political bias. Absolutely refreshing in an era of vicious attacks on anything perceived as leaning toward one type of political spectrum. Aaron and Justin have an extensive number of episodes to enjoy

I always listen from the beginning. Announcements and all. Sometimes I listen more than once because I love to fall asleep to you guys and then relisten while getting ready the next morning. I would ask that the music at the end not happen though.

Listened for over a Decade

I been listening to generation why since at least 2014– when did yall begin ??? I love this podcast and recommend it to everyone. Having listened for so long I have seen how Justin and Aaron have adapted their language such as using the term sex worker etc. My go to favorite with crimelines.

Great Research & Dialogue

Great unbiased podcast and the best original true crime podcast! Cases go beyond the mainstream cases which I really appreciate. Some of the reviews nitpick too much—the content is great and always enjoy my Sunday evenings listening to these guys! Keep up the great work!!!

Annoying!

The commercial that these guys do for audiobooks is so annoying. He says he’s reading HOLLY by Stephen King and that it’s the third installment of the Mr Mercedes trilogy. WRONG The trilogy is Mr Mercedes, finders keepers, and end of watch. Holly is a stand alone book with the same characters!!! Get your facts straight guys!!

Outro is too loud

Love the podcast. One nitpick: the outro music is sooooo loud. I like to fall asleep to the podcast, but I always get jolted away at the end of each episode.

Straight to the point

I cannot stand 10 minutes of banter before the topic is even addressed, but Aaron and Justin get straight to the point. There’s some small personal anecdotes here and there, so you still feel like you “know” them. Highly recommend

These guys are great. If you are looking for a top-drawer crime podcast, this is it. Some episodes are “let’s solve the crime” type episodes while others are “let’s explore the ‘why’ of a crime or its aftermath.” Either way, you’ll be hooked!

Favorite tc podcast ever!!

I’ve been listening since high school, I was a new kid at a school hours away from home. I found The Generation Why Podcast, and felt like I was almost apart of the conversation too?it’s been almost 6 years and it’s still my go to. Idk if that makes sense. Very thorough work done and these episodes never disappoint!!! Highly recommend!!

Listened to every episode, love the show. The only thing I can suggest is making the episodes longer, there is usually more to the story and sticking hard to the one hour format makes for a less than enthralling tale. People will listen, I certainly would.
