Hello, after listening to the current episode “Fireside chat”, I had to stop mid-episode and leave a review. My heart goes out to you guys and everybody in California. My heart is truly aching. I used to brag about being a Cali girl when I was younger. I used to visit with my siblings and father mostly in the summers. Or holidays. He’s from southern LA. I consider it a home away from home. I learned how to truly drive in Cali. As my uncle would say, “you’re either a hammer or a nail, never both.” ‘Tis true. Next visit to Cali I will for sure come to one of your shows. I’ve been listening to Lady to Lady for a literal decade. As faithful and hilarious companions on countless road trips, long walks, and Sundays spent cleaning the house. Brandie, Babs, and Tess have been a constant, infectiously positive presence in my headphones. Their affection for each other is obvious — you can feel their friendship and in turn, you feel like one of the gals. Love this podcast and being a member of their patreon. Go ladies!

I literally need this podcast in my life. Whether I’m cooking, cleaning, driving around, or taking walks, Tess, Babs, and Brandy get me through my day. This podcast is hilarious and so entertaining. Podcast for Anyone

I love this podcast because when else can you hear 3-4 ladies just talking and touching on the same thing you maybe never say out loud that you think or do and it is very satisfying to know I’m not alone! They are so funny, such good interviewers that know how to pull the most interesting conversation out of guests. They are funny and intelligent, they deserve more than 5 stars.

These ladies are so funny; I could listen to them chat all day. They are 100% unapologetically themselves and their confidence is contagious. I truly believe listening to them and their guests throughout the years has improved my mental health and raised my own self esteem. A great one I love to listen especially when life gets tough. I feel the need to mention that the amount of times I’ve heard women say “I hate men” in this podcast either during a lady problem segment or in one way or another is concerning. They riff off each other so well that it’s a miracle that they even listen to each other, which they clearly do. Disclosure: I am getting tired of zoom guests on podcasts and long for them to be with their hosts.

I have given this a try several times and wanted to like it but it feels like getting stuck next to a table of slightly drunk bachelorettes. It’s non stop cackling and obnoxious laughing even when nothing funny is happening.

Very Weak Lately

I used to like this show, but now I hesitate to listen to it. The hosts have a hard time staying present and listening and responding to each other and guests. They throw in off putting sex comments and lame game questions. It could be much better if they made the structure of the show stronger and cared to listen to each other.

Decided to check this out after Brandie’s appearance on The Daily Zeitgeist. I planned on just listening to the most recent ep to see if it’s for me… Well, I’m writing this review many hours later after getting sucked into binging 5 episodes. So yeah, it’s incredibly engaging and fun to listen to. Made a day of cleaning and feeding kids go much faster.

I would like to suggest that someone from Lady to Lady put in the AirPods and listen to episode 441. Hear what your listeners are hearing. The volume is all over the place. It is very hard to listen to.

“Ghetto Black Girl”

I stopped listening to this podcast during the “Bicep Smart” episode when one of the redneck hosts or guests (non-jokingly) referred to an 8 year old child as a “ghetto black girl” while telling a story about bullying. Not one person on this podcast stopped to say “hey, that’s not okay.” Looking for a funny podcast? Check out “Best Friends” or “Scam Goddess” or Yo, is this Racist.” Wanna pull out your confederate flag and have some mediocre chuckles? Then this is the podcast for you.

Conservatives really like you, but we have feelings too

The title says it all. I really enjoy you ladies and just love the light hearted girl talk and laughs. But when you slam conservatives and infer we’re all rednecks or in a cult...it hurts. Ignore the “haters” when it comes to your laughing - “cackling.” Your laughing and chatting makes your FANS (like me) super happy!
