kylees.designsBring It Back!I’m a podcast junkie and have been trying to learn more about sewing and textiles. Even though there aren’t many episodes, there was information I learned that I never knew I needed to know! There are fantastic references throughout to many more great resources. I wish there were more episodes, especially about responsible textile sourcing and outdoor opportunities. Still worth the listen!

MashvilleFantastic!!I gobbled up ALL of these episodes and even went back for relistens on most. I wish there were more, but I understand how much goes into each episode and am sure (especially with a kid) it has to end at some point. But this is a GREAT podcast with so many wonderful interviews and resources. If you’re on the fence at all, Listen! You won’t regret time spent here!!

DH in MarylandLiterate, Useful, EntertainingChristine's podcast is truly New York Times quality! Not only does she introduce her listeners to a fascinating variety of people in the sewing, art, and fabric worlds, but she also interviews them with intelligence, charm and thoroughness. Thankfully missing are glitz, celebrity and fluff. I look forward to every podcast, and learn a tremendous amount each time. Please keep broadcasting---we need you!!

Jblaylock685368Love it!Thread Cult has featured just about everyone I can think of! Prof Ski (author of The Art of Dress), Kenneth King, Susan Khalje, Alabama Channin, and Sarai Mitnik just to name a few. The funny thing is that I discovered each one of the aforementioned experts through different pathways over the past year. Never knew about Thread Cult until today. I immediately hit subscribed when I saw the list of A-List experts! I also really appreciate the professional nature of the interviews as compared to other podcasts in this genre. There is an easy, casual feeling about the conversation without getting silly for lack of a better word. There is a real intellectual exchange. I've listened to 4 podcasts so far. Each one has given me something to think about. I particularly like what Christine, Prof Ski, and Natalie Chanin have to say about challenging the idea of fashion as being a shallow endeavor. Definitely planning to listen to these interviews more than once. Thank you so much for doing what you do Christine!

ringadalGreat informationI love this podcast. I have been listening to craft lit, another awesome podcast where books are read. This is the first sewing related podcast I have found. Christine has found some amazing people to interview, many of whom I already knew about, and so it is great to hear them discuss their work. I am looking forward to new podcasts since I have blown through all of the interviews in the last three weeks as I sew items for a studio tour. Thanks for the infotainment!
