I’ve been listening for years and I truly enjoy the guys take on football and the Premier. The guys have great input and analysis with a funny twist to it. Not to mention that Ian is one of the funniest comics out there! Love the podcast!

I didn’t know that there was a documentary about Pelé. Thank you. I moved to Brasil in 1969. I was able to watch Pele as a boy after 1970. Lest I remind you of the 3 time championship. It shaped my life.

Ian is a great host with humor and mic skills. Martin on the other hand, puts Tottenham on a pedestal and thinks his opinion on other players or teams is the end-all-be-all opinion. He has an agenda against Martial, and two days later after he said ManU needed to replace Tony, Martial gets a hat-trick, then scores one of the best goals of the season a few games after that, and Martin still says Martial isn’t good. Get outta here.

Ian has a great delivery and sense of humor and he has some interesting, well informed guests.

I love this podcast, It’s the most unique form of soccer analysis that I’ve ever listened to, I listen to episodes right away and I get sad whenever you miss a week. Coming from a Spurs fan...I love this podcast and Ian's comedy. It's set up like a group of friends talking football (soccer) in a bar, not overloaded with stats and analytics.

I love this show! Ian is one of my fav comics and a great host of the show.

Passionate commentary from an Ian Edward is often marred by lack of knowledge about players and statistics and has a lot of opinions based on personal biases. Makes statements about teams he clearly hasn’t been following.

I love the content, opinions and comedy on this show. I wish he had more guests though.

Great Show, love the breakdowns and the honest opinions. I’ve been more interested in Got me watching the Premier League again. Amazing how the podcast covered the World Cup. Love hearing the entertaining views of real fans of the sport.

I like the presenter and he has great points... but he literally brought everything back to Man United and why they’re not doing well or how Jose can do this or he did that.,. This is after the 30min United review.

I’m just getting into soccer this year and I love this podcast

Ian is funny enough to think out loud and be entertaining. Not a sports facts podcast not a tactics pod just a huge fan of the game giving his impressions of what he witnessed. He is a Man U fan I am a Liverpool fan but I still listen even when he is TERRIBLY wrong and biased because he is one of the best amateur soccer podcasters outside of a fan club podcast in the world.

Real comics because they lack soccer knowledge.

I love comedy and love soccer. This isn’t a your typical EPL breakdown for the week. It’s more of a fans perspective, and the fan is a world class comic/ writer. Love it Ian Edwards, keep up the good work!

I love my man Ian Edwards! Like so many others, I found Ian while diggin some JRE... I gave the Soccer Comic Rant a try and haven’t looked back. Besides being a fellow Man U fan, I really appreciate Ian’s unapologetic butchering of soooo many African and Eastern European surnames. Dude owns it though. I subscribed to the pod during the dark days of the pretentious Martin Harris co-hosting. What was up with that Italispanolish muddled accent of his? Happy days came again with the emergence of Mark Hayes to mix. His tenor Irish brogue and self-deprecating humor is a nice touch of class to the show. This show will always provide you with fresh takes on the happenings in the BPL, a good laugh, and possibly VD if Mark Hayes is in the house.

Love this podcast. As an American fan who's only really been watching for 3 or so years I've been able to learn so much about the game that has quickly become my favorite sport. The chill presentation with a real fans view is so much more entertaining than your average sports talk show. To piggyback off another review the though of doing a match day pod where Ian and a co host record while watching big matches around the league would be great like the MMA fight companions Joe Rogan and Brendan Schaub do are. Amazing podcast regardless. Keep up the good work sir

I love this podcast! Ian is everything I look for in a host; always funny and supportive of Manchester United. You will laugh listening to this podcast. Ian understands and enjoys soccer. I think the podcast is best when there is a cohost or guest to talk tactics with because I don’t always agree with Ian’s take. I will always believe in Shaw, Mkhitaryan, and Fellaini and worry about Young defensively. As for Martin, you have to stop talking about him. It’s unbearable to listen to and you know it’s fodder for his spank bank. Would you accept a challenge to not talk about Martin for the rest of December? It’s going to be hard because Spurs are going to lose, a lot.

If soccer and comedy hooked up and made a baby, it’d be a podcast and they’d name it Soccer Comic Rant. First heard Ian on Rogan Experience back in August, been hooked on the Rant ever since. Ian delivers a weekly fan-perspective stream-of-consciousness style review of the past weekend's EPL matches. The podcast is refreshingly unpolished and loaded with Ian’s emotionally opinionated honesty. There’s plenty of trash talking, but at the heart of the podcast it’s clear there is a genuine love of the beautiful game. Regarding Spurs fans who send angry text messages attacking other people’s soccer knowledge, who gives a shart? There are dozens of soccer podcasts out there hosted by "true" sports analysts, but Soccer Comic Rant is unique in that it's a soccer podcast hosted by a comedian…who smacks his lips and speaks with a funny accent. That's why we listen! Love the podcast Ian, keep up the good work!

Ian documents and recaps the weeks premiere league drama, and games with the champions league also brought up. As a comic and a normal supporter and just speaks his mind and is usually open minded of other hosts thoughts or objections. I feel Ian hits it right with just a common mans point of view and isn't only talking about results but goes in depth of plays, coaches, players, and players thoughts ect. Found this podcast way to late Ian! You gotta get yourself out there! One other suggestion is to maybe have a live review show, like a football day companion show (sorry Joe, Brendan and Brian) love the podcast and look forward to it every week! Cheers! So good. Love the mix of comedy and soccer. Been looking for a weekly soccer show for a while and finally found this gem. Opinion + comedy + soccer + knowledge = success. Don’t change a thing.

Great podcast presented from a fans perspective. He mostly cover the Premier League but also hits on the UCL. Would personally like to see him cover MLS as well. Still have that Sporting KC ticket for you anytime you’re in KC, Ian.

As a Manchester United fan, this has been one of my 3 weekly go-to soccer podcasts for quite awhile. It has only improved since relegating deranged Spurs fan Martin. As I would expect from a comedian, this is not your typical filtered, cut, and serious soccer podcast that you would expect from a network backer. What I enjoy about this podcast is that it is raw, funny, and the host "Ian Edwards" does not take himself too seriously or even care about making/correcting mistakes. He also frequently has on insightful and hilarious guests such as the ever-aroused Mark Hayes. That said, I have two suggestions, 1) You are often on some great podcasts with massive audiences but never mention this podcast when promoting your work...why? 2) If (fingers crossed) the Spurs keep slipping up, please phone-in Martin for some much deserved abuse! Keep up the great work!

Above all else, I appreciate the faith in Crystal Palace 🤝 I love that this show is raw, and not overloaded with ads. Ian has good takes on the larger matches, and doesn't bs us with his takes on the niche club matches. As an American fan newish to the EPL I appreciate the nuggets that he drops when he has the knowledge to contextualize the fun facts. My only critique would be to add some production value with music and harder transitions, maybe consider taking breaks and compartmentalize the show into segments rather than jumping around.

The first episode I listened to was the thanksgiving episode and was far more interesting than the conversations I had to drudge through at the dinner table.

My favorite football pod. Provides a hilarious perspective that isn't all corporate business-like with different guests of different supporters on a weekly basis. Only bad part is, he is very knowledgable for seeming like every new fan to the sport by conveniently supporting all the hyped up teams like Man U and Real Madrid. I wouldn't be surprised if Bayern Munich was his favorite Bundesliga team. However, its mainly a Premier League Pod. And that's the main league I prefer to follow every week. Blue is the color! CFC (I'm also from America and I wish we would drop the word soccer)

Ian has a refreshing take on podcasting. He’s not all in your face with fake energy and pushing products like a lot of other podcasters. He’s very knowledgeable of football (even though he’s a Man U fan) so its entertaining and I learn a lot as well. You can tell he’s a good guy and I’m going to keep listening. Definitely recommend if you’re a fan of football, comedy or just good podcasts. Keep it up, Ian!

A pleasure to listen too. Audio is way off at times and there is a bit too much filler material/awkward pauses/not listening to other person but it has provided me with much entertainment and laughs. Keep it up sir! Once perfected it will be a masterpiece :)

Aside from the low volume/poor sound quality, I love this pod. Saw Ian kill it in Lubbock and Dallas this year so when I saw he had a podcast and that's he's a Man United supporter, I had to jump on this. Well done man!

This is a fun and funny listen to a comedian having a convo about soccer with a ManU slant plus Real Madrid fandom. Ian knows what he likes and has fans of other clubs to talk about the beautiful game. Listen up!

I been listen to this podcast for the last 9 months. It's one of the best podcast for soccer out there. I really like Ian's opinion when he goes through the games for the week. Can't wait for the next episode!

I would like this podcast a lot more if it was not so biased towards manchester united. The podcast is alright, but definitely gets old hearing the same crap every week.

Became a big Ian Edwards fan because of this podcasts. Lots of soccer talk and joking around. And who doesn't love busting the balls of a sad Tottenham fan? Especially when the Red Devils place higher. 🤘🏻

I tried to listed to a few episodes but their lack of chemistry is really annoying. One dude is rude as hell and irritates me to no end, while the other is a huge "homer" and can't make a single unbiased comment regarding any other team in the BPL. This podcast sort of reminds me of when you listen to a couple argue and you can't decide whether you want to listen or leave the area. There are some people that might be into this podcast, so I won't give it one star. Maybe these guys could have a good thing going if they go separate ways, but together, they combine as well as peanut butter and sour cream.
