    lots of imaginary stats
Just listened an episode (1/8/24) where the guest who said “I’m not a physician” proceeded to list so called facts and medical outcomes. Really alarmist and unsubstantiated pseudo science. She may be wrong or right but the facts aren’t known - but that doesn’t stop the guest from popping off.

    Feminism is for females
I’m really grateful that there is someone out there speaking out for women in an intelligent way. Feminism is for females.

Do yourself a favor: read these reviews
Pure comedy. A “male/man” totally-not-a-tr00n-you-bigot writes a 7 paragraph dissertation on “his“ superior ability to… form an opinion I guess? The mother of 3 (3!!) tr00ns lectures all of us on how evil we are for not wanting to chop off our kids parts. Etc. Meghan Murphy uses her sharp wit and crystal clear thinking, combined with a keen sense of humor, to bring us a couple of really great podcasts. A+

    Transphobic
I was really excited about starting this podcast as I’m a very vocal feminist for women in sports specifically as a professional martial artist. However, I had to turn it off 12 mins in bc this podcast challenge is clearly transphobic. As the mother of 3 LGBTQ children, one of whom is a Trans-male, I find it disgusting and supporting trans rights is not anti-feminist.

    Beta Male Revolution
Finally I heard someone say exactly what I’ve been thinking. The Adult Trans movement is nothing more than a Beta Male Revolution. So much truth spoken in this conversation. Thank you.

    Excellent podcast
Meghan is an amazing host that gives all of her guests room to speak and advocate for whatever topic that they are speaking on. Conversations are well balanced and interesting.

    Student of Everyone
Hi Friends, My name is Drew, a male / man. I listen to this show to gain different perspectives, learn about experiences, and hear others’ values. It helps me see discrimination in many more ways I was previously ignorant to, to help remove it, and work for equity I know is not present. In the 12/20/2022 episode with the guidance counselor from my home State Wisconsin, I heard about her at a rally, responses to it, and her position on transgender. I never heard her give her perspective or share her values, feelings, & knowledge of that position. I believe I am a student of everyone whether I end up totally or partially agreeing or disagreeing. I am here to hear diverse perspectives to help develop mine. I heard a position statement, but not an explanation of perspective and why. I gained nothing in this episode, where normally I feel I learn a lot. I may end up disagreeing with this counselor, but regardless, I respect her as a person and her expression of feelings. I just want to know what knowledge, values, feelings, & experiences go into why she has the position she does. Thank you for your hard work making this podcast happen, Drew

    Women’s Rights are Not Hatred
So grateful to have a feminist podcast that centers the female sex in discussions oppression that is ultimately sex based. Every other member of society has the ability to gather in groups of their peers, so why is it only an issue when natal women want to have a space to do so? Women should be allowed to have safe spaces to gather and discuss the unique issues affect our biological sex, the same way everyone else is able to, without being slandered, and advocating for that and other rights that singularly affect biological women is not hatred.

Good Show with great topics 😊
I have been hoping someone would start a Podcast about Feminist concerns and do it in an interesting and knowledgeable format; this is it!

    Obsessed w/ trans folks
Host is bent on acting like trans folk existing somehow threatens womanhood as we know it. Gross to see a podcast that should be about feminism center so fiercely on gatekeeping womanhood to the point of violence against trans bodies.
  • CoolBeans1188
    TERF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God I’m so tired of her being a real “feminist” and acting like trans people are just confused little girls who need her help. It’s absolutely SICKENING to see the way she constantly belittles trans men and women and their experiences. Very TERF-y vibes. Oh wait sorry, TERF is a slur, right? 🤣🤣

    A Perspective of Truth
Great guests and content that needs to be shared. Finally truth amongst all the propaganda pushed out by corporate mass media.

Believe Your Eyes, Not the Lies
Meghan Murphy is an absolute heroine. I’m a decades-long democrat and liberal feminist woman of color who has finally opened my eyes to the scourge of gender ideology and misogyny in the left. MM paved the way long ago for people like me to see the lies for what they are. I am also a big fan of her other podcast, The Same Drugs, which also explores free speech, government infringement and groupthink. MM is so brave and has done so in the face of disgusting harassment and threats. Open your eyes. She’s the real deal feminist.

    Much needed point of view
Thank you for representing women during this time in history when even the term “women” is being erased. People on the left these days are scared to discuss this feminist point of view, for fear of being labeled anti-trans.

My wife loves this podcast and is going to introduce it to our daughter, I sadly can't listen because of being deaf

    Missed Opportunity
I listened to the Andrea Heinz episode. Although extremely interesting, her consistently blaming “the patriarchy” and “unconstrained capitalism” coupled with citing no examples of her accountability in her circumstances, is irritating.

A heroine on the front lines

    Very Important Podcast
I never really considered myself a feminist. I am one of 6 daughters, and attended a single sex Catholic High School in the 1989s. I loved the guitar playing nuns, and I was not, and still am not, a Catholic. I have spent my career in a man’s world of Engineering, and only have had a minor experiences with men behaving badly. The majority are kind and welcoming. I am a conservative, and married 29 years to a wonderful man. In the past few years I have been concerned about the loss of women only spaces. Meagan is covering issues of great importance to me. Her most recent episode about trans women in female prisons was so disturbing bing to me. I don’t know where the culture is going, but I’ll be sure to pay attention to what Meagan is thinking about.
  • Longhornssuck
    Ya know
I agree with her views, how can women support men taking over women's rights and sports when a man can't be a woman? I can barely listen to her though because she constantly says 'ya know' when talking. It's a bad habit and sounds very unprofessional, ya know.
  • Not your ideology enforcer
    Excellent podcast
A truly excellent, and honest podcast from a brave woman who is absolutely OUT of f$cks to give for slogans, mantras, and other nonsense. Demand that she say the sky is blue, and you will likely get a middle finger. Despite that description, she and her guests are not at all abrasive, they are simply unwilling to bend and make obeisance to any position they don’t believe in. Such authenticity and honesty is, contrary to popular opinion, shockingly rare these days. Whether you agree with her positions or not, this is an indispensable podcast on the subject of feminism.

Thank you Thank you Thank you
Meghan - you are so impressive. The one star reviews are proof of the insanity we are up against. I do believe that a grown man who says he is a woman has every right to proclaim they prefer dressing in the stereotypical idea of a woman. BUT BUT ... they are not a biological woman. We should not have to be fighting this fight and it just seems like cloud cookoo land. Thank you for your voice and your podcast.

    Great podcast
Been a longtime listener and fan of this podcast. Love it and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
  • kheggert
Meghan Murphy is a proud TERF.
She just wrote the most hateful, transphobic, nasty article about Elliot Page. Refusing to use his preferred pronouns, describing his body as mutilated, and claims he is suffering from mental health issues. Meghan is a truly disgusting person.

    Be radical, NOT violent
Radical feminism is important, but NOT like this. We need to push passed white-centered, liberal feminism in order to become MORE inclusive and MORE safe, for ALL women, for ALL people. NOT this trans-exclusionary violence. There may be decent tidbits of information in a few of these episodes, but true radical feminists will not support this platform and instead seek the work of radical feminists who don't want to be dictators of what is and isn't womanhood. This podcast desperately lacks self-awareness by mimicking the structures of white supremacy and patriarchy.
  • Maaliv
    Dangerous, transphobic, anti-feminist
This podcast takes gender essentialism and runs with it under the guise of protecting “true” womanhood and equates sex with gender. The host continually argues she’s being attacked for her beliefs while undercutting the necessity of trans activism. She’s a Karen and pseudo-intellectual. I’m glad she’s banned from Twitter for her disgusting rhetoric. Please don’t listen: it’s just drivel and blatant misgendering.

    Excellent podcast about real feminism
Feminist Current is an excellent podcast. Meghan Murphy interviews real feminists doing real feminist work. This, along with Women’s Liberation Radio News and the FiLiA podcast, are the top feminist podcasts.

    Horrible
Megan Murphy and her ilk are the alt-right of the radical feminist movement. Hateful and vile.
  • hydratedb
Excluding trans women is transphobic and you know that
There is an argument to be had about how trans women belong in the women’s movement and it’s not exclusion and it’s certainly not calling them men. No thanks
  • SSGSandy
    Misrepresentation
I believe having a discussion focusing on trans issues and excluding any trans voices is similar to men discussing Woman’s issues and excluding all woman.
  • draadra
    this is actual feminism.
This podcast is MUST for anyone interested in a credibly feminist analysis of current events & pressing issues. I cannot recommend this enough.
  • RelativelyJones
    Highly recommended
Superb set of interviews and discussions. Murphy boils down critical issues to their essential core.

    Faux feminism
This podcast serves as a speaking platform for terf and anti-sex worker propaganda and voices. It is a lot of things, Feminist is not one of those things. I would recommend not wasting your time but you should at least be aware of the borderline abusive and contemptuous language you are likely to encounter if you do.

Great interviews, range of topics and points of view
I have listened to a few episodes so far and am blown away by the range of topics presented by this podcast. Each interview feels honest and intimate, and each presenter is a breath of fresh air. I’m a huge fan of the way Feminist Current supports women in the feminist movement who may disagree with one another or with general trends in the movement. Thanks and keep it up!

    Informative.
Murphy doesn’t beat around the bush. She’s informative and direct. One of the few feminist podcasts out there.

    I love this Podcast
Meghan Murphy has so much courage! I love her, I love the people she interviews, and I love that she is standing up and speaking the truth. I cannot support her and Feminst Current enough. She brought me back to feminism! God Bless MM.

    Real feminism
Feminism from a radical perspective and not just more of the echo chamber of the “woke” left you see in most media and academia. Would love to also hear regular podcasts even if it’s just Meghan on her own with content like the blog posts, although the interviews are good. Only little complaint is the outro music - doesn’t fit the podcast (it was used in Wolf of Wallstreet I just noticed) and goes wayyy too long. Using the intro music would be better.

    Great show, very informative
Really enjoy this show, even when I don’t agree, it’s very informative and interesting.

    Real feminism for real women
I’m so happy that this podcast exists. Women have been fed lines about “feminism” that centers men and their desires for too long. Real change will only happen when more women like Meghan Murphy start standing up and saying NO to the patriarchy. Real feminism calls for the liberation of women, anything else is patriarchy in a mask. Thank you Meghan.

    Truly Thought Provoking
I've listened to a wide range of feminist and so-called feminist podcasts, and this is truly one of the most original, challenging, and thought provoking ones out there. FC is not for those looking to sit in an echo chamber; it is for those looking to peer into the dark corners with clear eyes, for those looking to challenge themselves with brave intellectual honesty, and most of all, those looking for dangerous feminist intelligence. Radical in the best and most classical of senses. This podcast makes me a better and more thoughtful person.

    Great Feminist Podcast
This is one of the best feminist podcasts (and I recommend website too)! Meghan Murphy is a great interviewer, and interviewees address pressing feminist issues of today - prostitution, knowledge of women's bodies, male violence, etc. No third-wave nonsensical babble here! Just straight-up feminist analysis and critique.
  • rootedwomon
    Great podcast
I support this podcast bcs it truly puts womyn born womyn BACK into the center of feminism. Gender is fluid—my wife is butch and I’m femme with an attitude. But BIOLOGY doesn’t budge. Those of us born female—and to my WOC sistahs I know you hear this—have always known that if it doesn’t exist we must create it and we have. I understand that m2f trans folk definitely have it hard. The violence against them is unspeakable. But until they understand womyn’s herstory, they will never understand that just because you want a thing doesn’t mean it’s yours; doesn’t mean you can just take it. THAT behavior IS the typical male, colonizer bs that keeps fueling the patriarchy. We do need to fight in unison. But we name ourselves. We will not be renamed by the trans community. I understand why trans women would want to be in XX womyn only spaces—they’re amazing. I hope through FC the trans women learn why those particular spaces aren’t for them. Indeed if there was an awesome music festival for the Trans community only, I would respect it and understand my place as an ally rather than a member.

    At last
In a world where women are killed, maimed, beat, raped, robbed, burned, objectified, harassed, disenfranchised, underpaid, overworked, underrepresented, ignored, controlled, enslaved, forced to give birth, erased, relabeled, untreated, abandoned and silenced it is a relief to finally have a truthful discussion about real feminism.
