    Excellent and Informative!
Love the in depth details and great information shared in each show. Thanks for making my in-between trip times easier and always making my commutes and walks more enjoyable :)

    A joy to listen
Thanks for providing so many details in your trip reports. So helpful for those of us planning right now!

    Love it!
Shannon’s podcast is detailed and fun! I love the trip reports but especially enjoy the snippets of audio from park days and other travel events. My only criticism is that I find the buzzing of phone motivations distracting while listening. It always makes me think it’s my own phone buzzing because of how loud it is. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to this podcast, Shannon! Can’t wait to hear more coverage about WDW 50 events.

    So informative
Love the Podcast, especially the trip reviews. I also love Shannon’s insights - spot on and incredibly helpful and reliable. Sorry to hear that female run podcasts get challenged more than male led. Sadly, it doesn’t surprise me but please keep at it. You are doing a great job of changing that norm.

    Best Trip Reports!
I love all you guests and personal trip reports. These are the best, I’ve been spoilt and can’t listen to anyone else’s! All your informative show are great too. Thanks for putting these out!
  • IUJen94
    Love this podcast and website
So much helpful information. I particularly love how detailed and timely the trip reports are - both Shannon’s own reports and those of others.

    Best site for WDW information
Shannon and staff do a great job getting to the point with the information provided with each podcast. I like to listen in the car are when walking. It also allows me to refer to the show notes if I need to refer back. Unlike Other podcasts that have a radio talk show format. They take to long to get to the point and to much fluff and filler. Shannon with WDW and Casey with DLR both do it with ALOT! of useful information for anyone at any stage of your Disney experience, from the novice to the seasoned Disney fanatic. Keep on doing what you do ladies, glad your there.

    Absolutely perfect
Shannon’s podcast is absolutely perfect! I am so grateful for all of the work she puts into this podcast. You can expect the most in depth knowledge, experience, and expertise I’ve seen on any podcast about Disney. More than that, the shows just bring such light to my week! 😃 a huge thank you!

    Best disney podcast
Shannon and heather are hilarious, real, relatable, and so helpful. Their friendship is enviable and every listener will feel like they are part of their friend group. Cannot recommend enough!

    She sounds bored.
I really wanted to love this podcast but the host seems incredibly uninterested. There’s times where her guests are actively trying to engage her and you can just tell that she’s completely not paying attention. This correlates with the sound of typing that can often be heard in the background of the podcast. I love her voice and I love her guests but some of the other commenters hit the nail on the head when they say her heart doesn’t seem to be in it.

    Just wonderful
I love the podcasts . I listen on my mail route . Just so relatable as a human being ❤️ & absolutely great info for Disney World . Thank you ! P

    Very Informative
The information provided is very useful.  Although she really needs to get a pop filter or wind screen for her microphone, and little enthusiasm would go a long way.

    My favorite Disney podcast
I love Shannon’s podcast. I’ve been listening since 2017 when I planned my first trip. Her advice and tips are amazing. I learn so much from every trip report. This podcast and her website (WDWprepschool.com) are invaluable resources for planning Disney World trips and keeping the magic when you can’t be there!
  • Nehyay
My trips are amazing because of the detailed planning advice I get from the podcast. I also really appreciate how Shannon emphasizes equality and speaks up about real world things sometimes. I continue to listen because she is the best!
  • Djjdrihsti
    1-2 min podcast? Don’t bother
I like the trip reports, but my suggestion to you is to stop the “Day 1- one minute” ones. Put out a 30 minute one at the end of the trip. I see one minute and I’m like “why bother?” They are pretty pointless. Your heart just doesn’t seem to be in it anymore.
  • hard out here for a shrimp
    Perfect for diehard Dis-heads!
Shannon does an awesome job hosting and consistently picks engaging guests with different trip plans. Genuinely interesting to listen to people’s pre-trip plans compared to what ends up happening post-trip! One question: Where can we access the older episodes? I would love to listen to the old episodes pre 2018! Keep up the great work! P.S. We need more Kevin!

    Easy listening
Shannon’s podcast is great to listen to. It’s never abrasive or negative, not argumentative or controversial. She has great trip reports and offers nice info for changes in the park. My favorite is her YouTube channel where sometimes you can get a peek of her beautiful puppy.

Love trip reports and all the tips
Trip reports are so great to listen to. I love how Shannon guides with the conversation, but let’s the guest tell about their trip without interjecting all of the time. The trip reports are so very detailed with so many tips and tricks. I learn so much with each trip. I am excited that we will hear more in 2021. I also enjoy listening to Shannon’s episodes where she share tips and news. Thank you very much!

    Best Park Touring Info
I came across Shannon’s podcast and website in 2011 when planning for a trip and having to learn how to use FP+. Since then she is my go-to source for info on anything Disney related. Her suggestions on park touring are always on point!
  • Ashleigh_Barb
    Never again
It really upsets me to say that I have followed Shannon on social media and supported her on Patreon for years and then to see today that she attacks her followers for thinking differently than she does. If you are a conservative republican, SHE DOES NOT LIKE YOU. This is hateful. I regret every single time I recommended WDW prep to ANYONE. NEVER AGAIN.
  • Instagramluvr
Best resource I’ve ever found for WDW
Shannon’s website and podcast is second to none. I’ve yet to find anything close to the quality she provides for WDW and Disneyland. The trip report podcasts are so helpful, and I love hearing what went well and what didn’t on people’s trips. I have learned everything I know from you. Now, I’m a patron and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. Thank you, Shannon, for everything you do!
  • LaLaDisGirl
    Favorite WDW podcast
I started listening to Shannon in 2018 while planning my first WDW trip with my family, along with about 4 other Disney podcasts. This soon became my favorite of all the podcasts due to Shannon’s sweet, but efficient way of trip reporting and giving evolving, current tips. Now in 2020 I listen to her podcast and have joined her Patreon and listen whether I’m actively planning a trip or just need a fun escape to listen to while driving. Her and her friend/co-worker Heather are funny, upbeat and extremely helpful for those who are expert Disney planners or for those just starting their first trip.

    Wonderful resource
Such a great Disney planning resource! Shannon does a wonderful job getting info out while also being entertaining.

By far the best Disney World planning podcast out there
I have been listening to this and their Patreon podcast for years. I have learned so many good planning ideas for all four parks, and have enjoyed listening to each and every one. The amazing Patreon podcast has gotten me through this tough summer. Heather and Shannon together is truly my favorite thing to listen to. Thank you for all the amazing content on the regular podcast and the pure enjoyment of the Patreon one.

    My go-to
I’ve been a loyal listener for years and years. Shannon knows what she is talking about, is very honest, and is an amazing human, on top of everything!

    A great escape!
From the moment I heard Shannon’s voice years ago while listening to a trip report, I knew I found my favorite place for all things Disney. No other WDW expert can combine honesty & professionalism quite like she does. WDW Prep is an Ivy League School in my opinion and during these times, has pivoted into a space that was unchartered. They do this so that their listeners and clients can have an idea of what to expect. Thank you Shannon & the entire WDW Prep crew!

    My Fave Disney Podcast
This podcast has helped me so much in planning WDW trips. The up to date info has been a life saver in avoiding mistakes and enhancing my days at the park. I liked it so much over time that I became a patr(e)on.

    Awesome podcast!
This is the best podcast for anyone planning a Disney World vacation! Straight forward information about all things Disney World.

    Expertise and heart
I’ve been listening for years and Shannon is the best at teasing out the most useful advice from trip reports, as well as the ever-changing policies at WDW. She clearly strives for inclusivity in her reviews and comments, which we need now more than ever.
  • Jekylnhyde
    Thank you Shannon
Thanks for all you do. You foster a welcoming community and provide a valuable service. I appreciate all your hard work.

Like an honest, witty, and organized BFF!
I listen to a lot of podcasts, and this one isn’t just my favorite Disney podcast— it’s my favorite, period. I started listening in early 2019 when planning my family’s second WDW trip. I had been to the website and this was one of a handful informative podcasts I found. However, I quickly realized that WDW Prep to Go synthesized complicated touring plans like no one else could. Wdw Prep made this entire planning process fun and easy! Moreover, it was refreshing to hear a female voice in a sea of male Disney “experts.” She has passionate views and she’s not afraid to be authentic. My favorite part of the podcast is the trip report section. Shannon’s top-notch interviewing skills never overpowered her guests. I could actually hear their thoughts!! She’s knowledgeable without being a “know-it-all.” Listen to a few other WDW podcasts and you will realize that this is a rare skill! Today I subscribe and have joined her patron group because I support quality content from capable woman-owned businesses. Keep them coming, WDW Prep! Five stars and beyond from this happy listener!

Thoughtful and intelligent perspective on Disney!
I started listening to this and the Patreon podcast a few weeks ago, and it has been an invaluable source of truth, honesty and humor when it comes to Disney planning in 2020. I am beyond impressed by Shannon and Heather’s respect for inclusion and the fact that they do not shy way from speaking about the issues that are real for all of us, especially this year. If a listener has a problem listening to people talk about racial injustice, or listening to people talk about the importance of protecting themselves and others from this virus, it’s time to turn the lens on yourself and do some personal work. Keep up the good work, ladies- you are a comfort and a joy!

    Must Listen for Disney Planning
This podcast has THE most practical planning advice for WDW vacations. Shannon always offers the details and facts that will help plan your days with the understanding that each family/visitor may have different priorities - she always considers all the scenarios. And listening to the trip reports always gives practical information and is so fun!
  • Bpm808
    Made me an "expert"
My family and friends come to me as the Disney World expert. I've been thanked countless times for my advice and planning acumen. Most of my knowledge and inspiration comes from this podcast. The mix of topic and trip report episodes balance to give a sense of what one needs to know before your vacation.
  • al7077
    Super valuable resource!
Shannon has helped me so much with making the most out of Disney trips! I love listening to her tips and her realistic approach.
  • Sarahchristine1234
    My favorite podcast!
This podcast is the most informative podcast for Disney World travel planning and news! The trip reports are awesome-getting first hand information from a variety of people who have recently visited the parks is very helpful in the planning process. The host, Shannon, is a very lovely person who does a great job delivering park information in a professional, yet highly personable and fun manner. Her travel buddy and co-worker, Heather, also adds a lot of fun and laughs to the show when she comes on! This podcast has been such a highlight in my life during the challenging times our world is facing. I am inspired that Shannon uses her platform not only to deliver high quality Disney World information, but also to do her part inspire positive change in the world.

    Amazingly informative podcast
Love this podcast for all of the consistently great information. Keep up the great work!

    Love this podcast!
I love how detailed and informative Shannon’s trip reports are. This was the very first podcast I found when I was planning my first family trip for October 2018 so I started listening when I found Jay’s trip report from his October trip. I have literally followed her touring plans step by step and they have never led me astray! Now with the pandemic she has brought on different guests and the one with Bret Iwan was so inspiring and literally brought tears to my eyes at some points (and I am a very cynical person so that is hard to do to me!) I also love when she brings on Heather to the show and listen to them interact with each other! They are both lovely people who genuinely love what they do. She really did help me to have the most magical Disneyworld vacation possible with my family and she will help you as well!
  • NMEngle
Love Shannon, Heather and the WDW Prep podcast!
WDWPrep is my favorite Disney podcast! Shannon is always thorough and diligent with her research when she visits any Disney Destination! Between her podcast and her website, I’ve been able to plan my Disney trips without feeling overwhelmed. I love listening to the trip reports. It helps keep my Disney blues at bay until I can get back. Every trip report offers something different and I enjoy hearing other people’s reviews on restaurants and their experiences. I joined the WDWPrep Patreon group and it has been a huge highlight for me during this dumpster fire of a year (I’m looking at you 2020). I highly recommend this podcast and the Patreon podcasts! It’s refreshing to hear honest thoughts and opinions on things rather than the PC opinions. I feel like some podcasts aren’t willing to be fully honest and transparent.
  • Penzey
    Always awesome
Shannon and Heather are besties and long time travel partners. Their rapport is what the world yearns for in life. I love that they speak their mind and, are thus, open, honest, genuine, and true. Many people are too afraid to voice their true personalities, experiences, and opinions. They aren’t and Im. Am. Here. For. It. The world needs people who aren’t afraid to be themselves in the media. Thank you Shannon (and Heather) for being these people.

For planners who love to talk planning!
My heart always leaps when there’s a new WDW Prep To-Go episode! I love hearing Shannon ask so many questions and really get into her guests’ plans and trips! I love the educational nature of the podcast as well as the side trips into current events and Disney news!
  • always listening in ny
    My favorite podcast
I started listening to WDW Prep to Go when planning a huge trip this year and became hooked! I went back and listened to all the old episodes too. I couldn’t get enough. Even though my trip got cancelled because of Covid and likely won’t be rescheduled for a while, I still find myself really enjoying listening to new episodes. It’s the perfect mix of escape while still acknowledging reality. Also Shannon always seems to have it together and I love all her tips. When Heather makes a guest appearance it’s always so fun and my favorite. It feels like you are listening to friends.
  • marcowill2
If you want to listen to a Disney podcast that doesn’t ignore what’s going on outside of the “Disney bubble” because it might ruin the magic, this is the show for you. Shannon’s transparency and willingness to be honest with listeners while still talking about all things WDW is refreshing. Highly recommend becoming a Patreon subscriber just for the wonderful Facebook community let alone the bonus podcasts.
