You need to have someone knowledgeable or can at least listen to do this interview. Interviewer is so self involved an important opportunity was lost. The issues the author writes about are pervasive and damaging to our world and the interviewer was truly clueless to this. Listen to Kirista Tippet’s interview if you are interested in Van der Kolk’s work.

every one of these episodes has been either sickening or infuriating with propaganda and bullsh**. i tried and tried to find anything useful/interesting and am convinced it doesn’t exist here. could not possibly recommend this to anyone

I've been an avid listener for several years. In that time, Aspen Ideas has devolved into another ultra-left leaning, Trump-hating MSNBC clone. Even when they host middle of the road guests (Gen David Petraus, Adam Hamilton), the "moderator" always turns the conversation toward Trump bashing. The moderators are anything but moderate. If you need another "we hate Trump" fix, this may appeal to you.

Great thought provoking discussion on timely issues!

Not only was the episode I listened to extremely biased, it lacked substance. They say they are an unbiased institute yet have a panel consisting of Hillary shills that couldn't figure out why people don't like her. Every single person in the episode is overpaid because they bring ZERO value to this country.

Every episode I've listened to has been incredible. Especially Stephany Seay of the BFC.

I've listened to a few of these--full of the ind of savvy analysis so utterly lacking in much of the mainstream media these days.

I love these lectures. While Ted talks can be a good exposure, the Aspen ideas To Go goes deeper into subjects and allows for some interesting conversations to come up. A mix of lectures, presentations, interviews and panel discussions this podcast goes deeper into the issues confronting our world and local communities today. Listen and learn something new today.

I love this podcast. I listen to it while I’m hiking/exercising because it’s really interesting and keeps my brain occupied. The people and specific topics are often new to me, and that’s a lot of what I like about it. I always learn something, and I like the wide variety of topics covered!

Great interviews so far. Interesting without being stuffy. This is a good one to keep in the rotation. I hope they keep up the variety.
