The juiciest podcast in my feed! I thoroughly enjoy every episode of Bawdy Storytelling. The stories are obviously from the heart, and the production value is high. Dixie does an amazing job of story coaching.

Bawdy is incredible in-person (go see it on tour if you can), but since I moved away from the Bay Area, this podcast has given me a lifeline to the fun, freaky, “normal” that made me feel so seen while I lived there. I listen in the car (sans kiddo, natch), and am regularly laughing loudly and wishing I could share the stories with the drivers who give me strange looks. And the Dixie Ramble makes me feel less alone in my world, trying to claw back some joy and sense of normal the past couple of years. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability with us, Dixie! While I was driving cross-country solo on my horizontal does america road trip, I didn’t listen to music. I just didn’t have the impulse to. I listened to books, I listened to podcasts, I talked to friends on the phone, I talked to myself, I sang to myself, or I drove along in meditative quiet. I listened to episode after episode of Dixie’s Bawdy Storytelling. After a while, Dixie started to feel like a road spirit, an auditory escort, my most frequent aural (a-u-r-a-l) companion. Behind the wheel of my borrowed Honda Civic, while listening to Bawdy, I repeatedly squealed, laughed, teared up, and said OH. MY! all the way across America. We are so fortunate that Dixie has centered her life around living stories, telling them, and getting other people to tell them. What do they say about living legends? She’s a national treasure. Explore her body of work! Pun intended!

These are great stories because Dixie takes the time to coach people to tell them in the best ways. I also love that Dixie is real and shares her life with us on the podcast. The curated stories are great. The music is fun. The ads, promos, and Dixie’s monologue are unbearable. 50% of every episode is like listening to someone’s sad therapy session.

As a California guy was Southern roots. I love your accent reminds me of home, and all these sexy fun stories are just a a lot of fun. Although I’m pretty new to the scene, I found a group in my hometown and they’re pretty cool and they’re pretty fun. I haven’t found anyone yet, but I’m still looking for sex and fun. Wish me luck until then however, I’ll just have to vicariously live through the stories and your magnificent accent. Thanks a lot for the laughs Southern California guy.

This is more than a podcast about sex! This is a podcast about being human. I love how venerable Dixie is with her intros and how she is able to share parts of her life that most people wouldn't be brave enough to. This series has opened up a lot of door that I never knew where there. Thank you for all the wonderful stories!!

Dixie’s podcast is funny, heartwarming, and tragicomic. It’s always a joy to listen to sex-positive and kinky folks tell stories, and Dixie’s heartfelt monologues fill the gaps and give listeners great tips and hints about events and other casts. It’s great!

Her skill in setting the show up, while giving a truly delightful “rambling” intro to the state of her life, the work ahead and her inner world of mixed emotions and dreams are not to be Missed. Her tones and phrasing is lovely without being contrived. She sounds Bawdy and Bon vivant consistently .

I love the podcast. Sometimes the intro is just too long and makes me feel depressed and I just want to get to the story.

Dixie is the most real host. This podcast is not two people yelling over each other, or just being fake. Dixie De La Tour opens her heart at home and shares exactly what goes on. It brings ones to tears but this whole podcast is about being vulnerable and real. Talking about sex can be the scariest thing you’ve ever done, seems like everyone is judging you and pointing fingers and laughing at you except for everyone in the crowd an audience… Live or on a podcast they are cheering you on supporting you telling you to keep going and share more. This podcast makes talking about sex and vulnerability a reality and makes it in normal some thing we all do and we can talk about it.

Dixie has made me feel comfortable in my own skin through sharing some fantastic stories! I look forward to hearing new stories each week of sexual exploration and adventure!

I cant think of a storytelling show with so much heart. It has deeply changed my perspective on sexuality. I recommend bawdy to everyone. I used to live in San Francisco and i would love to be going to live shows again.

I’ve never been totally vanilla. But as someone who has been in a 12 year relationship, sex has often (not always!!!) defaulted to more of a habit and release than fiery. Bawdy has given me tools and inspiration to spark it up! And while we’ve played with other women before (I identify as a bisexual woman), it hasn’t been till the last couple years that we’ve brought other men in which has always been a fantasy of mine. I honestly am not sure I would ever have had the courage to broach that desire if it wasn’t for Bawdy. I want to thank you Dixie for creating a sex positive platform for people to share their sex-ploits and normalize opening up, exploration, and going for what you want. Really fun and interesting stories

What did you think I was going to say they came into ;) ? But really, I worked in the emergency room for all of 2020 and listening to Bawdy during my commute was one of the only things that helped me keep giving my all to my patients. When a major surgery at the end of last year led to a grueling recovery process and complications that made it impossible to go back to the ER, Bawdy got me through that, too. I’ve successfully corrupted three of my friends who are now living their best p*rvert lives, and I cannot imagine life without Dixie in my ears every week. 11/10, love this podcast to pieces.

I don’t like podcasts but I like Bawdy Storytelling. After I found the Moth, I learned that true storytelling really appealed to me. Unlike in movies and television where the stakes are unrealistically heightened, true storytelling feeld so real, personal, and educational. The ONLY problem I had with The Moth was that every once in a while, their storytelling would include a truly heartbreaking story. I had to stop listening to it because it was causing me to show up to work in tears. Luckily, I found Bawdy. Bawdy Storytelling is everything I loved about The Moth and more! In addition to being real, personal, and educational, Bawdy is sexy and taboo while offering a safe place for people to feel not alone in their weirdness. And, although a serious story might be included, it doesn’t leave me in tears. (Thank goodness)

Bawdy has been one of my favorite podcasts for years. It’s inspiring, funny, vulnerable, captivating, informative, entertaining and enjoyable. This podcast is so important and essential in a world that holds so much fear and shame around sex.

I started listening to Bawdy about 2 years ago. I still love it. People share funny, sad, complicated, complex stuff. And there's sex, which is pretty much always hot to hear, even if it's Not My Kink. I learn a lot all the time and Dixie De La Tour is a compassionate, smart, loving storyteller who has a gift and wants to share it with all ya'll. My life is better with Bawdy. With Dixie, goddess of story.

I really love the storytellers, but the format of this podcast where the story is only like, 5 minutes out of a half hour show is really irritating. I like to go back and binge past episodes of podcasts I like but it gets super repetitive and annoying to hear 20 minutes of the same plugs at the start of several episodes in a row. Ultimately I stopped listening because of that; I just had to sift through too much junk to get to the small parts I enjoyed and it wasn't worth it.

I’ve been a subscribing to Dixie De La Tour for years. She is 100% sex positive to everyone. I love her Dixie ramble, it give me an escape from my personal stress and I can relate to most of the thing she has to talk about. Yes she runs ads but guess what, this is free and she has to pay the bills. You will get maybe 1-2 minutes and then you get to hear the story uninterrupted. I’ve been a fan of Bawdy before the podcast, and the community around it means a lot to me. Dixie has developed and deepened the value of stories since beginning recordings,crafting and producing not just hot tales but giving people opportunity to share their journeys through pain, discovery, healing, inclusion, self-awareness... These are powerful stories, always dynamic and entertaining.

Whatever floats your boat, lights your candle, or just feels good has a home here on Bawdy! Would love shorter intro's, but I can live with that as the sex positive, inclusive content and the brave folks that bare their souls as well as other things, make this a wonderful break in the day to get our collective juices flowing! This podcast has fun stories about people’s sexual experiences…. I just wish the intros were a bit shorter. It’s not uncommon for 50% of the episode to be the ads and intro.

Each episode has, no joke, over TEN MINUTES OF ADS, and that’s JUST AT THE BEGINNING. It’s a chore to have to constantly be skipping all the crap. Ruins the podcast. Has to unsubscribe.
