    Poor DJ!
Can the world believe how badly DJ is treated? If I was on the discord I would pop off by saying grow up. Victim complex doesn’t inspire sympathy, nor does it produce comedic results. It’s gotten old. Accept, even embrace your weaknesses, then you own them. What you do with them- push them aside and move on… make them them your strengths… whatever. I’ve enjoyed the show until the last three, DJ.

    The only reviewers I like
I love this podcast however I have a gripe. I think you need to fix this IMDB problem. It was painful enough hearing DJ constantly complain that movies expect him to remember things, but now with the new tiebreaker… I don’t think I can listen to him complain about losing a game that he begged you play again. (/j, with love)

I love the podcast. Please ban the “name the character” IMDB tiebreaker
DJ is not good at the IMDbee tiebreaker where you name the characters from other movies. I don’t know why he insists on doing it for a tiebreaker. He’s so bad at it. It’s like the equivalent of pro football players going all out against a kid who’s barely in pop warner. He’s floundering to the point of absurdity. I know you’re all friends and it’s a lighthearted game, but it can get embarrassing to listen to. Give him a fighting chance, no matter how much he insists on that game and later claims it isn’t fair. I love the podcast, especially the Madame Web and Argylle episodes. Came from Nando’s YouTube channel.

Good. Could be great, just needs structure.
I think this podcast is okay, there are few things that hold it back. 1. They will spend the first 30-60 minutes of each episode rambling about nothing while performing a variety of sub-par voice impressions. This section of the show isn’t for me, I find it annoying, but presumably they have listeners that love this part. This would be less of a problem for me if it didn’t happen each episode for a randomly determined amount of time. 2. THEY DONT GIVE TIME STAMPS!!!! 3. They will spend 15-45 minutes doing arbitrary IMDB trivia. The running joke is that one of the hosts is a sore loser and will complain about not winning each episode. (This bit will go on for 20+ minutes at times.) Since everyone in this podcast is bad at IMDB trivia, they will do multiple tie breakers. Each more arbitrary and subjective than the last 4. Can’t easily skip this section, because they don’t have timestamps 5. Episodes often come out a 1-2 weeks after a movie was relevant. By the time their show comes out most other shows have released reviews. 6. In response to complaints about their structure, they began using “wheel” of things to talk about. They still kind of just ramble on about whatever 7. They don’t use timestamps.

    (Slightly Depressing) Nonsensical Nitpicking
If you like listening to three white guys talk about the latest movie for about 3 hours, this is the show for you. Found this show from Nando’s channel, he makes good content.

    The DEFINITIVE movie podcast
Yeah my opinion doesn’t matter to ANYONE, HOWEVER: this is my go to, and it should be yours. These guys ROCK!

2nd most listened to thing on my phone
Great podcast. Two 4 hour episodes in a row? Love to see it. The only thing I love to listen to more? Mark Wahlberg reading my daily prayers on Hallow. Please download Hallow and listen to Mark Wahlberg who has immense love for all people, especially minorities

A Great Time and it’s free
I enjoy these three a lot, with their little quips and friendly banter. Nando keeps up on things, digging knows things from the before times, and DJ is there. I relate most to DJ. Added bonus is it’s completely free. They won’t let you give them money if you try (I tried).

Absolutely NOT a tight 90 podcast
Everytime I see a new 4 hour long pod, I buckle up and enjoy the ride. This podcast has saved me from seeing so many mediocre movies in theaters, so thanks for that.

    Flash episode
Audio quality makes me nostalgic for when my dad and I had to drive an hour to school every morning and listening to old episodes of Leo Laporte podcasts from the early 2000’s. Great stuff!

    Incredible Listening
My favorite podcast, hands-down. All three of the guys have their own humor and they know how to build off each other. Very funny to listen to DJ complain about having a disadvantage in Tiebreakers because the trivia requires him to remember (and even watch!) the movies being discussed. Someday, it’ll all come up DJ. Til then and beyond, I’ll be enjoying each episode.

    It’s weird
Went from nitpicking the movie to fact checking and explaining why things make sense. Feels like the opposing nitpicking no? Ironically the guy who has all the “facts” is usually just posturing wrong information.
  • TheSquidKing
Love Nando v Movies, not this
I don’t really like his cohosts and the show is really really negative (as in the name I guess). I was hoping for more.

5 star Podcast with a 5 Star Runtime
3 different perspectives nitpicking pieces of media turns out to be quite entertaining. I’m a Diggins fan for sure through this pod and DJ although being the butt of a lot of jokes, is also quite funny. I’m sure most people found this through Nando as I did and other reviewers did but this podcast doesn’t have to be carried by the biggest name. Everyone pulls their weight and brings something to the table. I chuckle quite often while listening and I actually learn quite a bit about the topics they discuss. I LOVE the classic segment as I too am a huge nerd and tend to enjoy a lot of the recs. My singular gripe is that at some point each episode ends :(

    Better to binge
I love this podcast, big fan of Nando. Sometimes I have to take a month long break and catch up on episodes because of Diggins. His perspective is definitely appreciated, but sometimes he can insufferable. I don’t disagree with his politics, but sometimes it feels like he takes shots for the sake of taking shots or spouting an unrelated opinion. ei getting someone’s opinion on a Twilight movie = “Ugh men who hate their wives, am I right?”

    High Quality Podding
Love this podcast. Gets me through my long runs for my half marathon training. My two nitpicks: 1) they haven’t finished the twilight saga 2) not sure if I missed something but Diggins said the Dolphins were going to go undefeated this year to the Super Bowl and then Tua immediately got a severe concussion and has only played one game since. Definitely was Diggin’s fault. #gobirds Thanks for high quality contenting!

I’ve listened weekly for about 2 years now and I enjoy every episode. It sounds as if my friends and I are talking and I get lonely so yeah. Good listen

    Great Podcast, but…
Double check The Terminal again, I didn’t see clips in Burger King, they were in KFC.
  • oops I listened to MN again
I listen to this more than I watch Nando v Movies
I discovered this pod (probably like most people) through Nando’s plugs through his YouTube channel Nando v Movies (which I love), but while I expect to like it, I did not expect to love it as much as I do, and now I’ve listened to more of their pods in 3 months than I have watched Nando’s videos in three years (which is a lot)! Love the pod! Love Nando! Love DJ! Love Diggins! Love Amanda when she comes on! It’s so funny If you like Nando v Movies, you’ll love Mostly Nickpicking

    Fun!
I love this podcast!! I love their friendship I feel like I’m part of the group! After listening for so long (a few years now?) I’m in on all the inside jokes a running gags! Lots of fun 🤩

    In defense of DJ
I love this show, and as I am listening to the Moon Knight episode, I do have to step in. My brain did go to the same place as DJ at the first mention of the M-SHE-U - so I totally get it. HOWEVER with context I quickly understood thereafter 😅
  • Emls479
    Awesome group
I like the friendship of this group and always enjoy listening to people talk about movies. Love the long episodes too!

It’s good stuff and you know it, you’re bothering to read this so it must be true. 😄

Nando makes me wanna pursue my dreams.
Nando has been one of my most watched content creators in the past 4-5 years. Probably closer to 4 years than 5, but hey, whos counting?I haven’t listened to the podcast yet, but I know it’s gonna be as good as his content is, which is AMAZING. Just wanted to leave this review so much as for the podcast itself, but instead *Nando* himself. If you ever read this man, please let me work for you. I’ll learn anything you want me to do, I’m very adaptable. Why am I even writing that part in, it’s not like he ever checks the comments on apple podcasts haha. Oh well, I’m going to be going now, everyone who DOES see this, have a nice day.

Doing the lords work, recommended the pod to a tinder match. Didn’t work out but at least ya got a new listener.

    Really?
Listening to the suicide episode and did y’all even watch the movie? Y’all got so much wrong about this movie and many others as well. By the way DJ is very annoying, like calm down bro, chill.

Movie reviews presented by Alzheimer’s victims
If you enjoy hearing people who only half-remember the movie they’re discussing proudly declare things that are inaccurate, pause the conversation to google exactly what happened in the movie plus several other subjects they misidentified, and then spend time making each other guess what google or a movie goer with a memory already know, then this might be the headache for you!

    Lack of educated commentary…
I really like Nano v Movies you tube channel. I wanted to give this podcast a chance. I found a lot of regurgitation of main stream media biases. In particular, the Shang Chi episode. I’m not a diehard Joe Rogan defender. That being said, the hosts were trashing him taking up the main stream narrative. If they’re doing this with Joe Rogan, it leads me to believe they will do it with most topics. I really enjoy nerd content, but I will not be listening to this podcast.
  • PixelMicky
    DJ made me mad today
Having listened to the pod since early 2019, I don’t think any opinion provided on this podcast by anyone has made me as angry as hearing DJ praising the lazy, formulaic half-baked side plots of the film “Sing.” Other than that great podcast.
  • jjes84
    Love the pod
    Genuinely great!
  • eatmypantss
    Diggins has horrible takes
Nando had to do waaay too much work in the loki segment to explain writing concepts 101 to diggins. Loki was great, loved the ending. dont know what is up diggins butt. Otherwise good podcast, would recommend

5 Star Podcast = 5 Star Run Time
Easily my favorite podcast. Really entertaining and really funny. One minor complaint is the production value is a little low which is ok, but in some episodes it shows more than in others. Occasionally there will be an entire episode with echo or the episode with sound like it was recorded in a cardboard box. That’s completely a nitpick *ba dum tss* though and overall the podcast is worth your time and really, really enjoyable.
  • arkham nate
    Love this podcast so much!
This podcast is fun and I really enjoy listening to the movies I’ve seen and even the one’s I haven’t. The three of you are awesome!
  • Skythekrs
    Pretty good
With movie podcast they are either good or a bore and a slog this one is pretty decent. Wish y’all had better taste in Star Wars tho prequels are awesome.

I suppose don’t have my own podcast ...
but I still must say ... game recognize game. Y’all are legit! Love the pod. Keep it up XD

Great show (but could dial down the profanities)
I’ve been listening to this show for years and love Nando’s YouTube channel. Even when I haven’t seen the movie I always listen cause it’s hilarious. And its been EVEN BETTER since Diggins has joined the show. My one criticism would be the show has quite a few profanities and as someone who isn’t a huge fan of f bombs it can be quite annoying. Other than that keep up the good work guys! Also love the long runtimes!!! 5 star runtime baby!

    Question for Nando
I don’t know if I’ve been pronouncing this wrong this whole time, but are you intentionally pronouncing Gal Gadot’s name phonetically cause I always thought it was pronounce ga-doe, not ga-dot
  • wadethebear
Brevity is not their strong suit
Love the show and the discussion of movies, but every now and then when I see the run time I have to decide to skip the episode.

    Great Podcast!
Love to listen to these guys! I started during the quarantine with the first episode and just went down the list. Keep up the good work :) Just a little note for the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen episode, I always understood M to be Moriarty, not a follower. Haven’t seen it in a while so I might be wrong. Great episode!

Great show, lots of swearing, inconsistent release schedule
This podcast is very funny, and I love listening to it. Only thing is that it is very profane. You grow used to it after a while, but if you have a problem with swearing this is not the show for you. Also the release schedule is bad. Sometimes it’ll be a few days and sometimes it’ll be a month between episodes.
  • Crod2002
I’m the only other Scrappy Doo fan alive
I thought it shook up the dynamic to have a character that didn’t run from the monsters since they’re guys in costumes 99% of the time. Also for some reason I have this Mandela effect thing of there being four Scooby Doo movies. One about the possessing gremlins, one with Scrappy as a bad guy, one with evil mind controlled Velma, and one with past monsters coming back. I’m extremely weird
  • ace1ntheh0le
    Entertaining but infuriating
Just listened to the Arkham game series episode and as a big fan of the games it infuriated me how they were getting so many details of the games wrong. They admitted to watching a quick video about the games and thought it be enough to deep dive into 4 amazing games. Do more research on your topic before making the episode!
