I really enjoy Hal and Melanie’s podcast! I listened to them at our local homeschool conference this year and fell in love with them even more. They are so wide, so Biblical, and I learn so much from each of their messages. It’s so helpful to have the perspective of parents who have raised their kids in the Lord and seen the fruit!

This podcast has been encouraging to me as I look forward (and begin) to homeschool my littles. Exciting to see parents that have great relationships with their older children.

Thank you Melanie for speaking to these very frequently heard myths of motherhood. I had good training while I was growing up in standing strong against every myth you mentioned. I have struggled in more recent years with the myth about needing time for me over against the most important things I have been given to do as as a wife and mother. I am content in living my vocation, but I hear from so many others that I need to take time away and devote it to myself. I’ve heard it so often that I began to be dissatisfied with my vocation, thinking I really should do that. Thank you for the encouragement that what I’ve been doing all along is the best thing I can do for my husband, our children, and me! Such wonderful words of encouragement.

Hal and Melanie Young are such an inspiration to me and my husband! We live listening to them talk about all things. They make us feel like they are sitting with us in our living room just talking to us. Their advice on homeschooling and raising boys and everything in between has been so helpful and encouraging. If you are feeling discouraged about parenting or homeschooling or just life, I encourage you to listen!

I love to hear Hal and Melanie talk!! They are playful and we have laughed around our home how they finish each others sentences. Their topics are usually just what I needed to hear. This podcast has been very informative and encouraging to me. I learn new things every time I listen and am always left with something to think over. Great podcast if you’re looking for traditional biblical principles. I absolutely love the Youngs’ tips for family life with lots of young kids and it has been an encouragement. If you’re looking for practical tips with a biblical foundation, this podcast is for you.

Highly recommend it for its encouragement and practicality. You hold to your convictions but seem to communicate a lifestyle of peace and trust in the Lord Jesus. You don’t give off vibes of stress trying to prove to the world how amazing your life is. But we can tell how amazing it is by the joy and peace you exude. Some people work to prove it but you two just love it and we can tell it’s authentic! Additionally, Hal and Melanie, will you please do an episode on what you’re glad you did as a homeschooling family/parents. I read lots of blogs about what people feel like they got wrong or the “top ten mistakes I made as a homeschool parent” and I would like to hear some encouragement for a change. As a father of young children, I find this podcast insightful and fun to listen to. Hal and Melanie are further down the road than me and in a Titus 2 way, they suggest biblical ways to view and act on family issues. It's like listening to a conversation about how to live Christian lives between two good friends.

I have been beinge listening to the podcast ever since I found it and I just can't get enough. Thank you and be encourged for God will bless you for all your effort.
