Like finding two new mom friends!
I’m so happy I stumbled upon this podcast. My only local mom friend recently moved away and this show has helped fill the void of a now long distance friendship. It’s so fun to listen to the ins and outs of how other mom’s run their households and all the little quirks that come with it. Also listen to you talk about your kids (mine are 6, 3, and 10m) is so helpful. It really helps me see the things I have to look forward too as my kids grow up.

Two friends with an awesome vibe
These episodes are funny, reassuring, and informative. Erica and Kelsey generously share aspects of their lives, enabling me to reflect on mine with fresh ideas and grace.

    Just started
I just came across this podcast and fell in love with these two! I have binged so many episodes within the past two weeks. The information is so good and I feel like I’m the living room sitting and gabbing right with them! Thanks ladies for your hard work to make this such a highlight to my commute!

    Thoughtful and fun
Kelsey and Erica offer such thoughtful and joyful takes on parenthood, family, and life in general. They are never judgmental or prescriptive but rather share nuanced discussions on everything from yummy snacks to deeper discussions on complex topics. Listening to them is like sitting down to chat with an old friend. If anything, you should subscribe for their annual fall extravaganza. I look forward to it every year!

Fun, candid, interesting conversations between two friends.

    One of my absolute faves!
The Girl Next Door podcast is one of my absolute favorite podcasts! I’ve been a long time listener and look forward to every episode. Erica and Kelsey are funny, thoughtful, and always offer a fresh perspective on life!

Finally found a home amongst all the "mom podcasts" out there
I've been listening to a bunch of motherhood related podcasts over the years and they all have a niche but nothing truly felt like an exact match until this one. Erica and Kelsey really make you feel like you're sitting at the kitchen table with them chatting as friends. They bring a sense of positivity and vibrancy to life but mixed with sarcasm and humor. They are incredibly intelligent- researched and thoughtful in their approach but still bring humility, respect and their whole selves, self admitted flaws and all to the conversation. They can make you laugh out loud, nod your head continuously or pause and reflect with a tear in your eye- the best kind of podcast!

    My favorite podcast
I’ve been listening since the beginning and this is my favorite podcast of all time. So honest, relatable, and to the point. Thank you!

Wrote a review on instagram on your post about renovating a home but realized I can do it here too! You two keep help keep me sane. Your approach to life, kids, marriage and FALL! Oh my goodness. So much wonderful things to say but will keep it short. Please keep going 💗💗💗

    Love it!!
I’m fairly new to this podcast so now I’m listening to all of the older ones (and banking all of the fall/holiday ones for Fall)! Love how relatable and real they are! I’ve tried so many other podcasts but this one just feels so natural, like I’m chatting with friends.

    Two friends welcoming you in.
I LOVE this podcast so much with my whole heart. I’ve never not shouted “YES, THANK YOU” during an episode and I just love how TGND ladies really being you into their honest conversations. Their COVID time capsule and feminism episodes are so well done and truly are worth the listens. I tell everyone about this podcast I love it so much.

    New listener and loving it
I learned about this podcast a month ago and have been plowing through the back catalog. I’m loving how Erica and Kelsey bring their whole selves to the show. It’s a great listen that touches upon so many parts of my life

    Just love it
My one complaint is that they only put out an episode every other week, I want more. Love listening to these ladies; they are funny, relatable, kind, and down to earth.
  • happy hour fan!!
    Amazing!!! :)
I love this podcast and I’m so thankful for all the work put into it!! One suggestion; Erica often talks over Kelsey, not in a rude way, but in way that is distracting over audio. I also talk and add to friends stories so I totally get it, but just wanted to share that feedback!

    Lovely Companions for your earbuds
I have listened to this podcast for about four years and really love it! Kelsey and Erica have enough similarities and differences to keep the conversation moving, engaging and humorous. I have found the more recent content less and less relatable as I am a working mom and I really miss Kelsey’s unique perspective as a working mom too. Although I find some of their issues to be trivial, I still find myself listening again and again to these two ladies.
  • Love_ly_Laura
    Relatable best friends
Kelsey and Erica are so much fun to listen to. I am a newer listener and have loved catching up on the archives and following along as they share their stories and growth as women, friends, wives, and moms with transparency and humor. They are both so relatable and lovely. Thanks, ladies!
  • MJ92086
Our of touch and not tolerant and open to other views
This show used to be so accepting to all people and views. I feel vilified as a conservative republican. I used to love these ladies but now they just seem angry and intolerant to anyone that is not a liberal.
  • Wiscogirl6
    Pandemic is not over!
I really like this podcast but have to say, please stop saying the “pandemic is over, post-pandemic, etc”. Covid is still very much here, especially for those of us with infants under 6 months, immunocompromised or frankly those who care about their long term heath.
  • NewbieMom330
    Love these ladies!
I have listened to this show for years now -it is truly a delight. Erica and Kelsey feel like IRL friends. I relate to each of them on different topics and I love that their POVs are separate sometimes, alike sometimes and sometimes a bit of both. Their conversations and pointers are on target for my life, thank you!

    Fun, comforting, and inspiring!
Love the rapport between these ladies! Their different personalities and family stories really compliment each other. Great tips, lots of encouragement to follow your joy and take care of yourself on the road of motherhood, and just good company in your earbuds! I’m particularly grateful for the comfort of this podcast as a new adoptive mom ❤️
  • Brightney
    So relatable!
I always look forward to this podcast! I cannot tell you how heard I felt in listening to Kelsey’s descriptions of divine feminine energy in synchronized group exercise and the power and strength as a woman at OTF! These are both so important to me and keep me coming back!
  • cheez189
    Absolute favorite
I love this podcast so much! I want Kelsey and Erica to be my best friends. Thank you for your rich and funny and authentic topics. The Divine Feminism episode is everything. Don’t ever stop-just live you both.

    Please never ever stop
Love it!!! The episodes about books you read. Your real life updates. All your great banter. The homeschooling content. I love it all

    Love these Girls
I don’t write a lot of reviews but I’m sitting here enjoying the Dill Pickle Salad Kit (from the “Obsessed” segment) and I have to give credit where credit is due. These “girls” are an inspiration in their friendship, their dedication to their families, and their hard and consistent work on this podcast. Thank you Girls! Keep it up! (And keep the “Obsessions” coming - I’ve been drinking the Iced Lemon Loaf tea all summer. 😉)
  • inventedcharm
    All time faves
Every episode is excellent. Erica and Kelsey feel like old friends at this point. I love their points of view, how they offer different perspectives on almost everything, but still share core values. A must listen on the day it drops.
  • ayanna8
    Love these women!!!
I cried during their episode on white privilege. As a Black woman, I’ve never heard of white women having this conversation without relying on a Black woman to direct the conversation. This filled me with so much hope! I love the conversational tone, and they make you feel a part of the conversation. Keep up the great work!
  • NariPalmer
    Stumbled on this podcast
I started with the periods podcast while at work. I was LAUGHING at my desk at certain parts and smiling at other parts. I don’t have kids but this episode was heartwarming and made me subscribe to your podcasts as a whole. Thank you for your work.
  • kiamh
    Feels like chatting with friends!
When I first found this podcast (recommended on another podcast) I binged all of the previous episodes! I’m always nodding and laughing along with these ladies! They also give the most amazing book recommendations!

    New podcast obsession
Just found the podcast a week ago, and have now binged many past episodes. I love the format for the show, two friends chatting is my favorite, and have learned some helpful parenting ideas that I want to implement. You’ve got a loyal new listener here!
  • Con3as
    Love it!
I love listening to this podcast and look forward to it every week. I have been listening for a couple years now and love it. This Period episode is definitely my top 10 favorite. I laughed so much. Thanks ladies keep up the great work.

    Great Relatable Moms
I found Erica and Kelsey through some of my other “mom podcasts” I love so many things about them. I really enjoy the updates about what’s going on in their area and what they are obsessed with, it is always so fun. I understand the need to financially support podcasts with ads but I truly appreciate the lack of promotions in the podcast. I also really appreciate the two different views and personalities these two bring to momming and life in general. A true pleasure, always looking forward to the next episode!
  • Chels_Caff
    My comfort podcast
Kelsey and Erica are such a delight. They have such smart and relatable insight that I love listening to. These two balance each other beautifully, and I am continuously thankful for their comforting and inspiring conversations! I’ve binged from the beginning and am sad that I now have to be patient for a new episode each week. Thank you for continuing to bring your awesome personalities to my AirPods 😊
  • Susannahwill
Actually relatable show with great hosts
I’m a mom of four (ranging in age from 12-3) who loves to cook and read and most of all tell it like it is! I love that—unlike so many of the podcasts available to my demographic—Kelsey and Erika are so very real and relatable. They inspire me to be my best self while also never seeming preachy or out of touch. Just love this podcast.

This show makes me feel like I’m chatting with two friends. They are relatable and keep it real as moms.

    Amazing podcast
    Amazing!
  • nellmaxma
    Quite simply my favorite podcast!
The one I look forward to every other Wednesday and savor as I listen to it. Kelsey and Erica are so openhearted, real, and hilarious. My only feedback is that I wish they would put a podcast out every week (selfishly) but I because they speak so frankly about boundaries and saying no— I 100% understand why they don’t. :)
  • Trapped in Hawaii
    Heart-warming
I’m an immigrant and don’t have any friends here, listening to this podcast makes me feel like I’m hanging out with two best friends.
  • Bellajocko
Relatable moms who make me laugh
I look forward to this show and get excited when I see a new episode. Funny, entertaining, informative and lighthearted. I can relate to these women and I appreciate their conversation and recommendations.

    Love, love, love
I discovered this podcast while on vacation with my family this summer and have not stopped listening!! I enjoy feeling like I’m sitting with good friends and having a good chat!
  • Kim Keil
    One of my FAVORITE podcasts!
Erica and Kelsey …PLEASE don’t ever stop podcasting! I love every episode and just live the real talk between you both! The topics, the good, the bad, the funny make my week. Everytime I see a new episode in my feed, I am gitty. Any chance of a Patreon community? I would be your first subscriber! Thank you guys for being amazing!
  • Katethedancer
    Perfect show for moms!
I have listened for years and will keep coming back as long as they keep putting out new episodes!

    Joyful!
I am so happy whenever I see a new girl next door podcast. Kelsey and Erika are both so warm and comforting and the types of moms and spouses and humans I want to be. There’s nothing quite like listening to a new episode while doing my weekly Trader Joe’s shopping ❤️
