st1281Well, it used to be about movies…Sadly, and much like his other podcast, the boring and preachy (and racist) part has become the whole show.
-
InnerRevolution7WhewThis is the worst film club ever. Haha… I love Greg Proops, but come on really seriously. He never talks about the film they’re showing, he rants the entire time about politics and treats the movie like it’s a total afterthought. The crowd on the night has to be just totally baffled, and that’s exactly what it sounds like. This really, really isn’t fun anymore.

AnonymousikksdkdHas beenUsed to be great. Now he’s just angry, uninformed and hates the majority of his audience that ever enjoyed him in the first place.
-
N OvertonNot as funny as he thinks is!Horrible audio and even worse comedy.

Xoxo79Greg is a messGreg is unbearable to listen to and I genuinely think he needs help with his anger.

1/2dan1066Just a noteWhen Proops says the British brought syphilis to North America he’s probably thinking of smallpox. Syphilis is actually a New World disease. You can think of syphilis as the Amerindian revenge for smallpox.

styx1964Sound and ramblings....Considering that he has been doing podcast's for 7+ years. You would think he could get a better sound system. Cant believe I actually listened to 20 minutes of ramblings of stories that really had nothing to do with the movie they were going to see. Calling it a train wreck is a dis-service to actually disasters.

Cokehead4200000Not a very good showNot a very good podcast. The host is clearly not that bright. He pretty consistently makes big, obvious mistakes in his analysis. It’s as if he’s not even trying. This is a very “throw away” kind of show. Not much to get out of it. Would not recommend.

marcosparksLove this podcastGreat podcast, great show if you're in the area, and a perfect mix of smart comedy and love of film. Always a treat, the few and rare times a new episode shows up.

LaToadThe always interesting and entertaining Greg Proops!I just love the Film Club version of His Proopness! And his preamble to The Life and Times of Harvey Milk made mention of the band The Tubes, whom I just saw this weekend!!!!! Thanks, Greg!

The Counselor IIIMy favorite liberalI love this guy, he is flat smart and funny, even though I disagree with almost all of his truly felt beliefs on politics. That does not matter to me. He is at his best when he talks 70's movies. I can't wait to see his act live.

bobber87Prooptastic GregmagicSuch brilliance and rich intellect aligned with movies that truly deserve the attention they receive. It is the cinematic ephemeral emotional support muntjac and wild like boars!
-

DF175Great Films + Great FormatIt's one thing to have really great films featured on a podcast, but it's quite another to have the brilliant Greg Proops introduce each film and then allow the listener to pause and watch said film before getting to the reaction and "review". First rate!!
-
Sal UbriousGreat podcastLooking forward to many more (and more frequent?) episodes. Greg's impressions of old-time actors are hilarious.

euphiohedBravo, ProopsSo glad to see these finally out as their own podcast. Would much rather listen to Proops talk about his unique selections of films than almost any other podcast dedicated to film. There are some good film podcasts out there, but even when Proops isn't talking about the film at hand (which happens quite a bit) he is more entertaining and engaging than nearly every other film-dedicated podcast (I'm looking at you, Adam Kempenar). Bravo, sir. Keep 'em comin'.
