    Long live the 70’s sleaze
The great folks of Gruesome Magazine brings us a awesome podcast about 70’s horror flicks. It’s great to hear some of the classics that I’ve enjoyed watching and finding out things I probably missed. The cast is great and fun to listen to.

    Terror of Frankenstein
I was researching and found this little gem from 1977. I would love to hear your guys take on the movie. I really like it. Love the podcast. Keep it up.

    More Obscure Is More Better
The show is at it best when it spotlights more obscure titles from the scintilating seventies, but also does a great job discussing the better known titles too. The hosts bring an easy, conversational style to the show, they're fair and not over-the-top when they have criticisms, and they each bring a unique perspective - although none as unique as the late and sorely missed Black Saint, the heart of the show who departed too soon. Recommended.

    Too Scary to be real.
Love listening to the gang talk about those groovey gorey films from the 70's!

    King Kong 1976 episode
Was glad to see a podcast for one of my childhood favorites. Was bummed at the lousy opinions of the movie. Pervy Kong? He's an ape, he was fascinated by his human "toy". The 1933 Kong fawned and stripped the leading lady too. Geez. You guys were projecting to many human qualities onto Kong. Also, Jessica Lange was great. She was SUPPOSED to be playing a ditzy blonde ala Marilyn Monroe. I liked that Dwan grew to like Kong, as opposed to that shrew in the 1933 movie, who never appreciated his saving her multiple times.

    Great Show
It's refreshing hearing reviews of these movies from people that have actually seen them in a theater instead of 20 year old hipsters trying to be "clever". If you saw them in the movie than you were alive during the era. That speaks volumes on your reviews p@rick

    Outstanding
I love the hosts and their insightful take on "classic" 70s movies. Highly entertaining and highly recommended! Whether they discuss rare titles or more mainstream fare, Black Saint and Doc Rotten keep the conversation flowing with personal tidbits, experiences and fun recollections. Listeners unfamiliar with the movies they cover will learn a great deal while others will find themselves reminded of some long forgotten gems!

    My Kind of Horror
This podcast brings many fun memories of movies that I watched with my dad back in the day. As corny as some of them seem now, they left more of an impression than most of the movies I've seen in the last couple of decades. Are you going to revisit Trilogy of Terror? That's one my favorites. Looking forward to listening to more reviews of 70s horror flicks.

    Great Podcast
Insightful commentary on some of the best movies ever made. Unfortunately, Hollywood no longer makes films of this caliber. Thankfully, these guys picked the right decade and genre to discuss. Thanks guys, I’ll be listening.
