    Good take on Critical Issues
I’m not in the “water field” but as architect there is some overlap yet I have found very interesting discussions here on issues that are very important to society but not getting much attention. The host has a good range of guests from government, industry and consulting who are real hands on experts. The host is also knowledgeable therefore asks good questions. (I only found about this by accident (from a relative of the host) but have listened to it since then.)

Thanks for the amazing convo with Alaina Harkness of Current. You make it all so easy to understand! I no longer feel like “I don’t know enough” to care about/get involved with water/environmental issues.

    Awesome Learning Resource!
Awesome content. I really appreciate the broad range of guests you interview. I am learning so much, and your podcast is exactly what I wanted to find when searching for a podcast to learn about water conservation. I am attempting to develop desperately needed affordable housing for the service workers / working class in our highly water sensitive mountain community. To my astonishment, the rules around water use are arcane, allowing wholesale waste, while at the same time restricting thoughtful development. I am trying to break that norm by presenting a highly water efficient (grey water re-use, rain water catchment, metering, common meal prep etc.) I would love to hear more content about how developers employ cost effective conservation techniques into their buildings thereby helping to overcome water scarcity and creating housing suitable for our 21st century water situation. Technical suggestion - turn up the volume on the guest mic. They are hard to hear sometimes at full volume and your mic is much louder. Thanks for everything you’re doing to help us learn what we should be doing!

    Great show!
Really like this show but there are some issues with the sound. The host is coming through loud and clear but the guests are very hard to hear and when you turn the volume up enough to hear the guests, the host is way too loud. Hopefully that can be worked out soon.

    Love it!! But...audio leveling
Love the podcast! However, guests always seem to be MUCH quieter than the host. Not a problem when using a speaker system or headphones, but very hard to hear them on cellphone speakers if you’re on the go.

    More Wastewater Please
Love the show. As a Treatment and Wastewater Operator in California I enjoy the scope of the show. Sometimes I would like you to go more into specifics and not so general, but I understand the time constraints. Love the work and the message! Thank you.

Love the way this podcast covers several different aspects of the water and wastewater industry
This podcast has been a big help growing in this industry and gaining knowledge from all aspects of the business. My favorite episode is with Pat Mulroy discussing how a utility should move forward during difficult decisions with long term goals at mind. Her statement about needing more deal/peace makers in the industry has stuck with me. I enjoy the conversations, keep it up! Thanks, Sarah from TX

There are a few good water podcasts out there now, but this is the best from a utility perspective, and from a social science perspective, which is where I am most interested. You can also go back in the archives and most episodes remain relevant despite time of taping. Greg Pierce UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation @gregspierce

    Please Fix the Audio
I really love the content of this podcast. I am a water resource engineer and have managed to listen to roughly 10 episodes of this podcast, and have found the content of all of them to be excellent. However, guest voices are very faint requiring volume to be maximized to amplify their voices to an audible level, while the host voice is captured well, resulting in an uncomfortable imbalance. At max volume I struggle to hear guests and get yelled at by host. Sounds like guests are speaking through a cellphone speakerphone 8 feet away from the mic.

Dave does a great job of finding and interviewing people with experience in all sorts of different areas of the water sector (it's huge!) and letting them tell their story to educate us all about water. If you work in the water industry, this is a great resource to advance your knowledge of your own subfield and also round out your knowledge of everything else going on in water. Whether you work with utilities and/or natural systems in the capacity of an operator, engineer, lawyer, journalist, economist, or just someone interested in water, listening to The Water Values Podcast will give you a broader and deeper understanding of water.

For People curious about Water and Water geeks alike
I have been enjoying your show very much over the past couple years and it has introduced me to different aspects of water that I didn't consider. As an operator in the business sometimes we only see the local issues and not the larger issues and solutions that are out there. Thank you for all of your time and thank you to all of your great guests.

    Good Content, Great Effort
As a current environmental engineering masters student, I find this podcast very informative. The world of water is expansive, and Dave does a great job at bringing in ideas and opinions from across the board. I sincerely appreciate the effort, and encourage you too keep up the excellent work. My only constructive note is that I would appreciate more bite-size shows (~15 to 25 min in length), as this length fits well into a commute.

    Great podcast
I was searching for some water podcasts on my flight back from the US Green Building Conference and so lucky to stumble on this. I listened to three episodes straight and love the variety and informative nature of the show. I manage water sustainability programs for a Fortune 500 company and have been wanting to brush up on my knowledge of water policy and innovation and very glad to find this! Will definitely be adding this to my favorites and sharing with my networks.

    Finally
I have really enjoyed the podcasts so far. It is great to have something those in the industry can connect to. In a perfect world there would be more "bite size" episodes, sharing more stories of success ... as well as content that us "water people" can geek out to.
