I expected more of a show-to or follow along advice channel from creators rather than an interview/look at creators’ stories. However, I have felt great motivation from this podcast and have grown to love it more than I expected to. Also I appreciate the professionalism and clean presentation and lack of vulgar language that I feel is on every podcast these days. Thank you so much for that. However, I still miss the step-by-step guide for becoming a YouTube creator or growing an audience that I feel is eluded to with the description and intro of the channel. I also put 4 stars because I feel the guests are tech or gaming heavy rather than being balanced with more lifestyle or other niches represented often.

One of the best shows out there about YouTube and video creation. Dusty is authentic and real with what he's doing and he asks fantastic questions of his guests (even the ones that are the same week after week). In going through the archives what I've loved most is that this is one of very few shows that talks mostly to smaller YouTubers who are still struggling to monetize and build an audience... so the content is immediately applicable to most content creators. Great show, I'm a little sad that I've now caught up and can't keep binge listening.

This has helped me so much! I found this podcast by happenstance, but love every minute of it. I started at the beginning and have been binge listening every chance I can. I started my YouTube channel less than 3 months ago and just started listening to this podcast last week. I wasn’t sure which episodes to listen to first since it goes back to 2014. I did listen to the first two eps with some southern guy hosting it then said screw it I am just going to listen from current and go backwards Button style. First thing I noticed was they had a new host with the same name as the original host and as I continued my descent to the beginning I noticed this fellow started developing more and more of a Southern drawl. I hit the episode where Dusty mentioned that he had to speak less Southern to make it easier to be understood. Anyway I am getting additional pleasure going backwards..Memento style but Benjamin Button on the accent. In a few more months of listening daily Dusty will be a Southern accent baby. Also it was a little nutty to hear Dusty talk about late August WI police shooting where he was so down then go back a week to hear him happy not knowing what was about to befall him and America. It made me feel like I could tell the future. This is more of a rambling than a review but the point that I would take this much time away from my life and channel to write is speaks volumes for the respect I have for Dusty and his show.
