but would be far more helpful jump right to the point(s) of the episode. I had to turn it off although I really wanted the content. So much preliminary chit chat from the host about her outside activities, conferences, all stuff unrelated to the reason we tuning in. Why would I want to sit through this? I’m not a long time listener fascinated by her personal stories (sorry!!).

We’re not at a point where we need all of the episodes, but great for what we do!

As a parent of a high performing 7th grader, I want to make sure her experience with her college search and acceptance isn’t hindered by my lack of knowledge of the process. Playing these podcasts and listening to ALL of them (regardless of if I think they are highly relevant right now) has given me a sense of calm that I am in the know AND that she’ll find her path and perfect college ... that we can afford. Knowing we are prepared BEFORE she selects her path in high school gives me a sense of calm. Knowledge is power. Thank you, Lauren, for all of your time in producing these podcasts - to be able to get this advice FOR FREE is well worth the listen.

The College Checklist Podcast is exactly the resource I wish my parents and I had when I was applying to college. Lauren Gaggioli and each of her guests give much needed insight into the college application process. She is a fresh resource in this overwhleming market of college admissions.

This particular podcast, hosted by Lauren Gaggioli, dealt with scholarships and being debt free. It was informative and very helpful. The young lady being interviewed was able to find and win enough scholarship money to pay for her undergraduate and graduate studies. This gives me hope for my twins who are graduating this year.

Best resource for parents - and and students- who are in the process of getting ready to apply for college. Lauren hosts a wide variety of guests from a wide range of areas of expertise. Her genuine enthusiasm is refreshing. This podcast has proven to be invaluable to me. Episodes are so packed with helpful info, I go back and listen to many of them again. Thank you, Lauren!

Lauren is passionate in helping parents & their HS students during this stressful time. She has sound advice while taking into consideration of both the parents & student’s perspective. Lauren took her time having a conversation with me on the phone about my sophomore's goals and studying plans. Once off the phone, I felt more confident with a ACT study timeline for my daughter. She makes sense of the craziness in preparing our students for college. I have subscribed to her Podcast and I have plans to use her test prep for my sophomore in the near future. I recommend you to do the same!

Lauren does a wonderful job of getting relevant information to families and students who are in the process of preparing for college. The information is practical for both the student with average test scores and grades and the student with high test scores who is in the top 10% of his/her class. I am finding the information to be practical, relevant, and balanced. I have been listing to a few podcasts about college prep issues, and this is the most helpful I have found.

My daughters are three and four and my husband and I have transferred our Montgomery GI Bills to them for their college and we are saving monthly in their 529 College Savings Plan. While the finances may be set, we still need to work on getting them into college. I have been reading several college admission books as I plan to retire from the military in 2 years and plan to devote the majority of my time to preparing my children for their higher learning. I started searching for college admissions podcasts today and found yours. The podcast regarding whether to take the SAT or ACT was phenomenal! My children and I will forever be in your debt. I really loved her interview with Dr. Jim Overton because he was able to share college insight that I had not heard about before such as how to use the College Board's Big Future Database and the reasons why outside scholarships are not always beneficial to families with children entering college. I will definitely keep listening to Lauren's podcast to learn more about the admissions process.
