Interesting conversations, until derailed by politics
Really enjoy the conversations and the topics but consistently the topics get derailed into political issues. That part is disappointing. Really wish they would keep it within the scope of EMS. I’ve listened to three episodes now that went on 5-15 min tangents on gun control without direct relevance to EMS at all.

    Old Dog New Tricks
35 years of EMS EMT-A/B/I/D/CC/P, instructor, District Training Coordinator/Helicopter Medic. I just found this podcast and have been binge listening to it. I crack a smile every time Kelly has to either talk Chris off the cliff or just push him off. I also worked as a dispatcher for NC Statewide Transportation Operations Center so very glad to see them talk about Transportation Information Management (TIMs) Great show everyone can pull so many ideas from this show and EMS Shop. They highlight what everyone is doing around the world..I only do enough to keep my certifications now because I need money so I now am a Biomedical Technician but try to help everyone involved in EMS as I became disabled in the field on the job of EMS.

    EMT skills
Great talk on expanding EMT skills for them to run calls for the service and community. I agree that they can be trained to use advance airway devices and run their own ambulance.

Great for those interested in getting into the field!
Great personalities and super knowledgeable. I passed my basic EMT class and studying for the NREMT and I like to listen along to this podcast. It’s not over complicated and the vernacular is easy to listen to as a newbie. I expect even those already in the field could enjoy.

Please, I’m begging you, equalize the volume
Decent content but they don't equalize the volume between different segments so it’ll blow out your speakers. Yet another case of Big Ambulance trying to ensure a steady stream of patients, who will stop these villains?

Feel free to use my EMS songs for your Inside EMS
Feel free to use my EMS songs for your Inside EMS podcast. You can find "Paramedic Rescue 101" and also "Full Speed 911" on Spotify, Apple, Amazon, or YouTube. Also if needed I can send you the digital file for your Inside EMS podcast. Please if you can, mention Ken Krupnik as the singer/songwriter. 5 Stars and a song. How's that for endorsing your podcast? Informative
Chris and Kelly are very knowledgeable in the field and have some interesting perspectives. It does feel at times that their singular focus is on earning a degree vs. a certificate. If it’s not that it’s in pay. I get that those things are important, but when they get away from those topics to speak on the day to day clinical topics, they shine the most.

Content is great, audio quality is garbage
I've been in EMS nearly 8 years, and I've been listening to this podcast for about 2-3 years now. I highly recommend it. The content is thought provoking, and gives many topics and perspectives relevant to everyday EMS providers. I wish the audio quality was better. Sometimes it sounds very distorted and garbled.

    Very informative and entertaining!
I listen to this podcast every week and love it every time.

Great EMS Podcast. Exactly what I was looking for.
Great podcast. Kelly and Chris do a great job discussing and opining on EMS news, relating relevant industry issues, and talking to notable people in the field. Their banter is enough to keep the show light, while also still delving into important and topical issues. The podcast is just what I was looking for when trying to hunt for EMS shows. I've caught up on a couple years of shows in a few weeks, and don't get bored rolling one show right into the other. One thing I'd be interested in hearing is occasional educational/instructional discussion on EMS topics...but that's just a personal opinion. Great show. These guys are legends in the field, especially Kelly! (Apologies to Chris, but I can't resist handing the fodder to Kelly).

    EPIC
Thank you so much for your podcast. I look forward to it every Friday to listen!

    Awesome.
Keep up the good work. Great topics. And I've learned a lot. But make it a little longer. Seems like when you're just getting warmed up Chris is saying it's time to start wrapping it up. 45 min would be great! You guys are awesome.

The Two BEST and MOST RESPECTED, EMS and FIRE Podcasts and Apps AVAILABLE!!!
As a career, veteran Paramedic/Firefighter, I truly believe that EMS1 & FR1 have THE BEST Podcasts and Apps. Whether you're looking for interesting and sometimes amazing industry news, educational and training information including "tips and tricks" info, new product information and reviews, or just some good ole' public safety humor; They've got that and TONS and TONS MORE!! Seriously, there's just SO much great stuff discussed in the podcasts (and in the apps) that there's NO WAY I could ever mention everything. Also I want everyone to know there IS something here for EVERYBODY; whether you're that new EMT student, Or the Probie FF still in rookie school, OR that twenty plus year veteran Paramedic/Firefighter, Or a member of the brass, Maybe a Director/Chief, Or even an Educator/Instructor, ETC...I'm promising you that you WILL learn something if you want to. BTW, if you do not already have the EMS1 app AND the FR1 (FireRescue1) app, you NEED TO DOWNLOAD (free) THEM BOTH NOW!! If you're EMS only, or FIRE only, still get both because the FR1 app contains A LOT of Rescue material that transfers over to EMS, and the EMS1 app contains SO much info that will transfer over to the FF and with most FD's nowadays being first due to medical calls, it's self explanatory; not to mention the EMS1 app contains a lot of rescue and FF rehab information. If you've actually read all this I really appreciate it because, I'm very passionate about these apps and podcasts due to the simple facts that they represent the best in our industry, and I want everyone to get as much out of them as I have. God Bless All Our Brethren, God Bless The USA, and STAY SAFE!! FTM-PTB

    Split Them!
Don’t understand why it’s not possible to subscribe to one podcast or the other. Some of us have no interest in the fr1 podcasts, and I’m sure there are those who have no interest in the EMS1 podcasts.

    Great Podcast
This is for the ems podcast only, since I have not listened to the fire side of things. I love this podcast and find myself looking throughout the week wondering if the new episode is out yet. Both gentlemen are funny and informing. It's a great show, thank you.

    Great Shows!
These two podcasts are great! I love listening to them every week, they bring up excellent news and issues relevant to both the Fire Service and EMS. Definitely recommend for anyone in the field!
